We had a 3 day short stay in Paris and being a first time traveler to Paris, hospitality and safety are very important to us. These were provided to us by Hotel Prince Albert Louvre through its Manager Mr. Mourad who was very kind and friendly all throughout our stay. With the help of his staff especially - Hajer and Hamid, we were guided on how to go to tourist spots in Paris and arranged our cruise trip. Not to mention the free breakfast, the combined ambiance of Victorian style interior and modern bathroom facilities, the hotel is worth more than you paid for. Added to these is the nice location which is the center of Paris, walking distance to almost all the marvelous sites in the city. Mr. Mourad's goodbye words to us was "Come back to Paris, you have friends here". And indeed we had.
Although advertised as a 2 star hotel, it has a perfect location for sightseeing, close to the hop on hop off bus station, the Seine, the Louvre, the Opera etc. We had a nice clean room and a big, refurbished bathroom with tub and a separate WC. Very helpful staff. I can recommend it to anyone.
I stayed one night for my business trip. Manager Mourad was Super friendly and helpful. Other staffs are also very kind . You can't expect very luxuries room as this hotel remains their traditional styles. However I found it very charming and cozy, shabby in a good way. Facilities are simple yet enough to enjoy my stay. Overall I really enjoyed the stay there . Price are very reasonable as the hotel is located at center of Paris . Definitely I want to comeback again to see them . Thank you
We had a short stay in Paris and this was a great hotel to stay at, the location was perfect and central, the room was very comfortable and great to have a fridge in the room. The manager at the front desk was so very nice and helpful to answer any questions we had and on the morning of our check out we mentioned we want to have a cup of coffee before leaving for the airport and he said he would provide is breakfast at no charge.
Second stay this year. The staff (Mourad, Hajer, Limon, Marie...) could not have been more inviting. Spacious, airy, front room; 300 m from Tuileries metro and gardens; walking distance from all major attractions; Carrefors food market around the corner. We loved our stay in Paris.
After reading lots of good reviews, we booked this hotel for two nights. We must have had the smallest room in the hotel, there was barely any room to get around the bed. The rooms are very outdated and could do with being updated. The wardrobe looked as if it was going to collapse when you opened the door. The air conditioning unit was so old and barely worked, not ideal in 30 degree heat. Also, when it was plugged in you had to climb over the bed to get to the other side as there was no room to move around it! The bathroom is absolutely tiny, you have to sit on the toilet at an angle to avoid bashing your knees on the wall, the shower door didn't close properly meaning that water went everywhere, the bathroom door also didn't close properly. This hotel needs a bit of tlc. The positives were that it was in a good location, about a 5-10 minute walk from the Louvre. The staff on reception were also friendly and welcoming.
Jul 15 to 19 2 adults and 2 kids were made to feel important and 2 staffers couldn't do enough. Manager Mourad and late night clerk Ahmed went way above the call of duty. One sick child was shown great compassion and caring by Mourad. His knowledge and advice was great. Mourad was taking my calls at 3:00am and confirming reservations. THANK YOU
Excellent location, great staff. Extremely smart rooms but I am sure you will be in there for a very little time. Very central location, close to the Louvre and two metro stations. Great prices for the location.
This hotel is perfect for single travellers in Paris,it's rooms have all the amenities you need, bar fridge, wifi,tv,great new bathroom with a strong shower. The room is petit, but has everything you need to get a great nights sleep. The area is the best feature to stay here,it's in the 1st arrondissement, close in walking distance to most Paris sights,it also boasts some great bars and restaurants so you won't go thirsty or hungry,Paris is super expensive as well, but I only paid 150 for two nights,so it's a bargain. I didn't have breakfast here.
It could be said that this place could use a lick of paint and some new furniture but we thought this place was really great as is. The staff were wonderful and the room we had (118) was quiet, very clean, spacious and had a big window overlooking the street. The big freshly reno'ed bathroom had its own window, a great shower (good pressure), tub and double sink. There was also a minibar/fridge, 2 comfy easy chairs, a desk, a wardrobe, a luggage caddy, a safe, air-conditioning and free well performing wi-fi. All right in the middle of what we think is the best location in Paris - the 1st arrondissement with its multitude of shops, restaurants and bistros and just steps from the Louvre and the Tuileries Metro station with a well-stocked mini-mart right around the corner. The lobby is large with a nice sitting room and breakfast room. Breakfast was reasonable and typical French with breads, jams, cheese, butter, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee and juice (no meat or eggs). Very recommended.
