If you’re looking for a place to stay in Paris, I do recommend this hotel! It provides the basics required throughout your stay and is perhaps more than enough! We booked a 2-bedroom apartment which came with interconnecting doors so we were able to go into our other friends’ room easily! Our apartment had a kitchen stove with utensils except it didn’t come with washing-up liquid or sponges for washing-up (couldn’t find any in our apartment anyway). The air con unit wasn’t really that strong so it was still a bit warm at night and the windows were bolted shut so we couldn’t open them if we wanted fresh air (but that’s probably due to the room having air con). The rooms were spacious compared to the standard Parisian hotel rooms. There was a private shower in each room and a hair dryer was provided in each of them too. We didn’t use the kitchen stove during our stay unfortunately, we only used the sink to wash up our utensils we used when going out. One of the rooms had a fridge and it was nearly cold enough for our drinks to freeze up a bit which was amazing for keeping our drinks cold while exploring Paris under the hot sun! We had continental breakfast included (we paid extra for) which includes scambled eggs, bacon, boiled eggs, croissants, toast, yoghurts, a selection of cereals, teas, coffees, juices, fruit salad, a selection of hams, etc. The metro station, Mairie de Saint-Ouen (Line 13), is the nearest one to the hotel. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk which isn’t too far. It takes around 30 minutes to get into the main attractions of Paris. I’d definitely recommend to stay here if you’re visiting Paris and wanted a kitchen to cook your own meals to keep the costs low while on holiday!
Basic structure, comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Friendly staff. Free Wifi. Ten minutes walk from the subway, suburban area, near the subway various cafes. Breakfast available (I didn't try it). A second choice but positive.
We just arrived and it is already a horrible experience with the night shift staff saying that he doesn’t care and is not willing to listen...well upon arrival we were asked to give a deposit of 200 Euros which came as a surprise as we checked are on Holidays and stayed in Switzerland and Austria in the last 10 days and never experience such thing. Anyhow we understand if this is a Hotel policy and we requested the staff checking us in - Nasser. Upon asking his name he said he is not obliged to give his full name. Nevertheless we tried to explain him that since we are traveling from another country we do not have a local credit card and we are willing to pay 200 Euros in cash but his direct answer was NO, I DONT CARE YOU HAVE TO PY CREDIT CARD OR CANCEL YOUR BOOKING, even though it was at midnight and we are here with a 4 year old child and obviously very new to the country. Nasser’s rude attitude really shocked us but we had no choice considering the fact that it is midnight and we are tired from the traveling plus a sleepy child. We really felt harassed and upon asking him for manager, he said he is the manager and no one can help us. EXTREMELY RUDE AND ZERO HOSPITALITY!!!!!
As an American women - I need a blow dryer. They only have a few to check out and if you don’t get one they don’t care. Women can completely understand this—when in Paris you want to look good and drying my hair is part of my daily routine. No one cared no one tried to assist or find me a blow dryer my entire stay I did not have one. There is also nothing near the hotel at night that is open. No where to get a bite or a dessert...nothing.
We spent 9 days in Paris and this was a great place to sleep each night with really helpful and friendly staff. It’s very basic, but we didn’t visit Paris to hang out in a hotel room! It’s a brisk 15 minute walk to the metro which is really easy to navigate. The breakfast (which you pay extra for), is fantastic and will keep you going until mid afternoon. No hairdryers in the room or a safe, although the front desk has a safe for guests if you ask them. Make sure you visit the flea market/antique area which is open on Sat, Sun and Monday. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Be prepared to haggle and brush up on your French. Also eat at the Vietnamese restaurant. It’s fantastic! It’s about 10 mins from the hotel. Tell Dene that the Americans from Florida sent you!
Location very near metro, long walk otherwise, not too bad neighbourhood, quiet, room with King Bed and Terrace, clean, shower excellent. No tea coffee facilities, small tube shower gel and one of moisturizing cream, bar soap. Flat screen TV with remote control, bedside lamps built in, long mirror and mirror with light above in bathroom. Floor is tiled would advise taking thick socks as floor is cold. Hotel is what it is, Bed and Breakfast, somewhere to sleep and if you chose to pay, very good continental breakfast. Value for money. Friendly staff on reception and helpful. When booking ask if smoking or non smoking, as floor 4 did smell of smoke, but then maybe people where smoking on their terraces and left terrace door open? Would stay again, yes.
I stayed here for two nights with my wife and two daughters. The hotel was booked on hotels.com and the price for the number of beds suited our budget. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful. When we got to our room, we were happy with the four single beds we had. The appearance, tidyness was prfect annd there was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The bathroom had a good sized mirror and basin for washing and shaving and the shower cubicle has streamming hot water. There was also plenty of towels available. The room was cleaned and additional towels were added the next day as expected. A couple of things to note: 1. No there wasn't a hair dryer, however, this wasn't an issue. 2. There wasn't a safe, a little bit more of an issue, but no a deal breaker. The hotel location was great as it was never more than 35-40 minutes (Metro 13, Mairie de Saint-Ouen - 500m from the hotel) to the main attaractions we came to see. The area was fine and what we expected when we chose to stay outside of the main Paris area. It had good restaurants (reviews to follow) and a great boulangerie with all my favourite bread and pastries at very reasonalble prices. Summary: Overall a really pleasant stay with really attentative staff, who went above and beyond to assist us when called upon. The area is fine and is a suburb of Paris, so keep this is mind when booking. I recommend this palce if you are on a budget and need good, clean family accomodation.
Nice, Modern and Clean Like the location near Metro, Supermarkets Restaurants and large Flea Market near Garibaldi Metro station and Sacred Heart. .My room was very comfortable and staff very helpful. The room was actually a studio with a nice kitchenette and utensils.I really recommend this hotel. I don't have any complaints to mention in my one week stay.
I picked this hotel it met what I thought was my requirements, low cost for a single person, easy to get to 1) close to metro-yes 2) hair dryer-yes originally but when I got here NO- sorry. Other guests have it. So if you normally use a dryer don’t come here- This may not sound like a big deal but when you normally dry your hair every day and you want to look good- i mean you did come to paris -shouldn’t we try to look good.- NO sorry. The neighbor hood is dead at night - not the best and nothing to do or eat. Only plan to sleep in this neighborhood. I would not choose this hotel knowing what I know now. there are plenty of better ones IN-Side PARIS- which this one is not.
Stayed 3 nights, the room was clean and spacious ( double room with terrace) friendly staff, comfortable bed. Very close from mairie de saint ouen Station and les Puces. Didn't try the breakfast so can't comment. I will definitely come back.
