We booked a stay based on reviews that were positive. We arrived on a Friday night around 830pm. The first thing my daughter and I noticed were two sex shops nearby. One was lighted up. There were a few homeless laying on the street as well. She immediately said that she did not feel safe here. We stayed the first night but mentioned that we may want to cancel some days. Their policy is you have to give 48 hours notice and then they still charge you an extra day! It wasn't that bad of a hotel-3 star, but disappointed in their policy. The next morning was better and we just went to bed early. We found a better 4star hotel and felt safer there. Paris is not my favorite city.
We would like to thank hotel Lyon for a comfortable and welcoming stay There is a small lift taking you to your room which is also small comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were especially impressed with the way the housekeeping accommodated us as we were out late everyday being eghausted each day .The rooms do not have tea or coffee making facilities .A good hairdryer is provided . The breakfasts are adequate continental fare The reception staff are friendly and helpful
Hotel is very near gare du lyon in Rue Parrot . Everyone in the hotel were very helpful. They have a lift which makes a difference after a long day walking round Paris. It is so handy for the bus to CDG airport.
This Hotel offers more than just beautiful rooms and good service, Hotel Lyon Bastille is conveniently located very close to a train station. Cafes and Bistros are not far from this location and many are in walking distance. Service at this hotel was okay, but wifi wasnt very good. Very nice hotel and I would come back.
Wonderful Hotel and I would most surely stay again. Clean and pleasant rooms, and a conveniently located very close (5 minutes away) to a Metro Station and the Train Station. Breakfast was very good and staff was very friendly.
This is my 2nd stay in this hotel, very well located near the Bastille train & metro station (and stop for buses to the airports). This time around i stayed in room 34, freshly renovated and with a nice bathroom attached(with bath tube) and balcony. Although on the main Street, the isolation from noise was very good so I was not disturbed by the traffic. The personnel at the reception desk is very nice and welcoming. All very nice indeed in this hotel, aside from a pricy breakfast... but no need to take it there, there are several coffee shops around serving good breakfast for 7-8 Euros.
Had a wonderful 4 nights here. The staff are very accommodating. Our room was very roomy and clean. Had balcony over the street so we could savour the french ambience.Very easy to find , and near metro system. Minibar and meals, but restaurants everywhere close by. We will stay here again.
Staff at reception is friendly and helpful, room was clean and had everything you need for a (short) stay. Located just opposite the Gare de Lyon, so easy to reach by train and/or metro. Lots of restaurants and stores in the neighbourhood, very convenient
Walking to and from station is great. Room is basic but clean. There is no kettle which is little sad but they give you hot water on request. We would have appreciated if the hotel staff gave us a heads up that the breakfast is charged 12.50 euros. Sometimes we do miss out on details when hopping between cities. As the breakfast was quite expensive considering the meagre options available. Le bus direct available for airport do check timings. Overall ok stay.
