From the warm greeting by Sanjay through our 4days in Paris our experience at the hotel de buck could not have been better. Great location. Wouldn't even consider another hotel.

This is a small boutique hotel that is quiet, charming and very french. However, as soon as you step out, the neighborhood is hopping all week long into the wee hours. It is loaded with, apparently, many popular cafe's and restaurants. If you want quiet, as for a room that is not overlooking the street.

Getting to hotel was easy and in expensive from CDG - RER B to Saint Michael, walk underground and emerge at Mabillon then one block to hotel. Hotel well located in Saint Germain, charming neighborhood cafes, stores for shopping and eating and close to multiple subway and bus stops. Air conditioned room clean but smallish, very friendly knowledgeable staff. Breakfast available but cafes, patisseries and store close by. Great experience here and would definitely come back again.

The hotel is wonderfully quaint. The rooms are small but that is expected in a boutique hotel in the center of town. Walking distance to all major sights in Paris.

The staff was wonderful and super helpful. Our room was lovely. All the amenities were wonderful. I decided to only stay at this hotel when I return to Paris. We had a wonderful experience. And the location is the best. Tons of restaurants near by. Just love it! Thank you to all the staff at hote de Buci!!

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend a superior room, the extra space was great to have. The room wasn't large by American standards, but it was comfortable. I saw the map/layout of the hotel, and realized my room was huge compared to the other ones. They must be tiny. However, the hotel is beautifully decorated, and there are nice touches. We had macarons waiting for us when we first arrived, and a couple of bottled waters waiting for us at the end of the day. There were soft white bathrobes and comfortable slippers. Overall it was very enjoyable. The room was decorated in an older, traditional French style, but the bathroom was sleek and modern. The shower was awesome - best shower I've ever had. In the mornings I would go to the local bakery (the concierge recommended Carton, and it was great!) and go get some croissants or quiches for breakfast. The street is small but bustling with lots of great little shops and restaurants. We didn't notice too much noise from the street, even though we had a street view. We were on the 4th floor. There was one evening where someone was playing rock songs on the bagpipes in the street, which was interesting, but they stopped by like 9pm so it really wasn't an issue. It was walking distance to 2 different metro stops, and walking distance to the Notre Dame. Perfect location.

one of the smallest rooms I have stayed in ...pictures are very deceiving ...it was a superior room and expensive...also worst view ever...horrible mistake...cramped space torture...don't know what reviews mean about area because most restaurants expensive in the area and very modest and touristic at best.....in all fairness the hotel is probably pretty good with a suite but thats big bucks if you want to go for it...I did my duty ...your warned

The property is close to shopping, historical attractions and cafes. A short walk to the #4 Metro line at Odeon. Boudoir room was street side and provided a bird's eye view to the street scene below. Very clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Awesome 40th birthday present for my wife. It is located between Left Bank and Latin Quarter. From the moment you step outside you are in the heart of it all, bakery, coffeeshop, butcher, cheese store and Le Germain restaurant all within 30 yards, and within a 4 min walk to the Seine. The staff were fabulous, led by Sanjay, and his team of Catia, Jeremy, and Edler. The customer service was stellar and the breakfast buffet was wonderful !!!!!

This hotel has the best staff!! And almost the best location in Paris! Right on the Rue de Buci. Here is what you get: 1- a world class concierge 2- a very nice room 3- the best linens 4- a staff that speaks english and french 5- across the street is a fruit stand, cafes, cheese and bakeries and delis and meat shoppes. 6- The Rue de Buci is a pedestrian street. One can walk up and down it to all of these shoppes. 7- at night all of the cafes are filled with fun and friendly and happy French people enjoying themselves. 8-Every weekend is loaded with happy families and their children. My Wife and I love it!!

Staying at the Hotel Buci in the St Germain area was la delightful experience iin the heart of Paris We were close to. Everything in a lively neighborhood Where you can walk to everything

Grand Suite du Maine is perfect for families. Great restaurant recommendations.

Hotel de Buci is a charming place to stay in the perfect location of Saint-Germain-des-Pres. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, loaning me an adapter for my stay as well as arranging for a taxi to take us to the airport at 6AM. The room, although very small, was very well done. The bathroom was beautiful and contemporary, with a great shower! The bed was comfortable, and there was good light in the room (despite facing the interior courtyard). The hotel's location was central to almost everything we did while in Paris. Plenty of cabs near the hotel, and convenient Metro access. Fantastic places to eat nearby. Felt very safe on the streets at night around the hotel.

Rue de Buci is one of the most charming streets in Paris. A few steps away from the Blvd. St. Germain des Pres with its grand Brasseries like Brasserie Lipp, and Deux Magots, tiny, winding rue de Buci is chock-a-block with tiny gourmet shops, and full of color and life with a daily mini-market. Walking distance to great museums like Musee d'Orsay, and Musee de Cluny, neighborhoods, like the Latin Quarter and the Jardin du Luxembourg area. Anything farther away is either accomplished with a bit more walking, or very easy access to the Metro Stop, and taxi service from the hotel is quick and efficient. They call you a taxi--two seconds later it is there for you. I had gotten the cheapest hotel room rate, and was more than satisfied. I knew my room would be tiny with no view---and it was--but beautifully, and lavishly appointed--colorful decoration, gorgeous lighting, big, luxurious bathroom (almost as big as the room itself), perfectly functioning wifi (not always a given, even at 4 star hotels.). This is an intimate hotel, and I think it may become my hotel of choice for my frequent visits to Paris. It is one day after my trip back, and I long for that gourmet paradise right outside my door!!

This is a charming hotel in the heart of St. Germain des Près. The location is great--near the Eglise St. Germain des Près, Café Deux Magots, Bd. Saint Michel, and Notre Dame; short walk to Louvre and Musée d'Orsay. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. My room was very small, like most hotel rooms in Paris, but beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Although my room was on the street side, noise was never a problem. I would definitely return.

Great hotel, staff very pro : I love it!

Hotel de Buci is a gem of a hotel. Located just a bridge away from the Louvre in an area bustling with cafes, shops and art galleries, it came to feel like our own little spot in Paris. Staff was helpful and gracious. Our one recommendation is to spend a little more money and go with a superior room. We had booked a double room, but after two nights in very cramped quarters decided to upgrade. What a difference in room size and comfort! If we ever have an opportunity to enjoy Paris again we will most certainly stay at Hotel de Buci.
