Gorgeous hotel. Had some renovation going on whilst we were there. But it didn’t bother us at all with being out all day. The hotel is 25 minutes walk from Notre Dame cathedral. Lots of nice bars and restaurants around. Hotel is modern. Well decorated. The room we were in 502 was a little small but cozy. Breakfast in bed was a great touch and the staff were incredibly helpful. The smoke alarms are incredibly sensitive. And you can’t vape in the room. Which wasn’t a biggie as we had a balcony looking out into the front. Great location to explore Paris from.
Nice and cosy hotel. Quiet rooms with aircondition. No noise from traffic or neighboring rooms. A bit small rooms, but lots of cabinets to store your clothes. Super nice LGBT friendly staff, and close to the Marais area. Not so good lighting for make-up.. :(
My friend and I stayed at Hotel Angely at the end of April and were very pleased with our accommodations. We got there before check in and were able to leave our luggage with no trouble. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and always available to answer our questions. One staff member even advised us to take an umbrella as showers were coming later in the day! The lobby was getting some decoration updates and it looked great. We loved being able to access the Nespresso machine in the lobby. The room was uniquely decorated, comfortable, and quiet. We loved being able to open the windows and look out at the Paris streets below. Each day we came home to a clean room. The bed was very comfortable and there was even a hair dryer in the room. There is a wonderful patisserie just down the street that was great for morning croissants. Also many cafes and shops in the area. The location was fantastic and made us feel more like locals than tourists. The only thing we did not expect was that the bathroom door was glass and see through, and the shower made the bathroom floor pretty wet-- but we managed and did not ask anyone to address this because it was not a big problem for us! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!
Very clean rooms, friendly and helpfull staff especially the ladys who serve the breakfast! 100% I recommend it! The underground it's 2 min walking and the rooms are very quiet and the beds very very comfortable!
I realise the hotel rooms in Paris are often quite small but this would probably be the smallest hotel room I think I’ve ever stayed in. New York and Amsterdam included. I have a bad back and the fact that there wasn’t really any room for a chair, let alone a desk to work at, was a little bit of a problem. The bed was very comfortable but two nights was just about my limit here. I read that the breakfast is supposed to be complimentary but I was charged. I have no idea why. The staff were polite and friendly. 5 out of 5 there. It’s a tiny, quite smart hotel, verging on the chic. Overall, I liked it but it was the location that swung it for me. It was a ten minute walk away from my temporary job and therefore close to perfect.
No negative things to say about this hotel. We had a tiny room but then we were on a budget (less than $100 through an internet deal). There's an in room safe which was great. The wifi worked, and coffee and croissants were complimentary. I would stay here again.
Typical 3 stars, comfy bed, good location, friendly staff. Didn’t eat there so can’t tell much about food. Room was good size apart the toilet which was so small it was impossible to pee with closed doors (I am really tall and my knees were crushing into the closed door basically. That can be really awkward if you travel in couple - no privacy at all when using toilet. Bathroom has really poor lighting so forget about being able to apply make up (girls first world problems..). Also the door stopper in bathroom was bang on in middle of the room which I managed to walk into twice. Very painful! So in summary some poor design decisions but overall ok. Despite all this I’d reconsider to return and maybe get better room. Maybe I was just unlucky with this one.
We came here for valentines day and there was nothing wrong with the room or hotel, we had absolutely no problems with anything like things not working etc.The bathroom was lovely with small spotlights in the shower but based on the pictures I expected the rooms to be as they look but they were actually very small and a bit dull compared to the pictures, not sure if we were just given that room or if they're all like that? It states on booking.com there is a hotel bar, when we asked we were directed to a mini fridge with a sofa...in the reception. We had breakfast included but when we asked where to go we were sent to a different hotel over the road where the breakfast was ok but was the same thing every day. I don't know if this is always the case or if the hotel was maybe having the restaurant done? It was close to a number of bars, restaurants and train/tube stations. I would stay here again but only for a good price. We think we paid way too much for what we got. The staff on the reception were lovely, helpful and spoke good English. It was a nice hotel I just think it could be better with a bit of work and modernisation and lower prices.
All 3 rooms we had were upgrades and very nice. The staff was all incredibly helpful with everything, including helping w cab rides, calling places we visited, and all spoke excellent English. One of the girls wrote a note in French for my sister to get back into the Louvre to retrieve her passport prior to us getting to the airport. She was extremely friendly and nice.
When we arrived, there was a couple there that was just raving about the hotel. At check-in the customer service was outstanding. Ask for a room as high up as you can possibly get. They actually upgraded us when I asked about it and we got a wonderful room with a balcony. The breakfast is included but keep in mind it is only offered at their sister hotel across the street so you just have to walk across a narrow street to get there. This hotel was very clean and the staff are so nice and very accommodating. There's a coffee machine downstairs and free croissants every day. We stayed in in a few hotels in Paris and this was by far the best with major train hubs close by, Great restaurants and patisseries nearby. We would definitely stay here again
