Staff was great garage really small. Staff was upfront about the hotel. The price was great and for an additional charges, I was able to park. No shower curtain in the bathroom room was old but I was able to sleep. Close to cafe's and bars. I would stay there again mostly because of price and staff.
The staff was very friendly and went out of thief way to help us. hotel Arial Paris is just around the corner from the Brochant metro stop (Paris underground subway). We were able to get to the main attraction within minutes. The rooms are typical European, small but comfortable. I would recommend this for a budget minded traveler that would prefer to spend their time and money sight seeing.
good hotel for the price. It was close to amenities.
very friendly staff. Parking space is very limited and suited for SUVs or bigger cars. excellent location and next to the subway.
not so good experience as acouple .., probably good for solo travellers
this hotel was not by choice .., but had to settle for it because of my overbooking in a different hotel. The hotel location staff and cleanliness are only good things .., rest including room comfort, space is not worht the stay in a beautiful city like paris.Basically ,the roomis not welcoming.., so defintely a no no for honeymooners/couple
Pierre at the front desk was very helpful and efficient. The room was plain but sufficient for our 4 day stay. Area restaurants were good.
The staff was very helpful and nice. Room was clean and the location is good, very close to the metro.
It's definitely centrally located, but if you're driving its very expensive to park in the near by garage. The metro is about 50 meters outside of the front door, and from there it's very easy to get anywhere you'd want to go. All-in-all very good deal for the price.
I booked this hotel last minute for a weekend getaway as a supplement to my business trip. The room was small and simple but extremely affordable. I was able to get one of the top floor rooms with a balcony (big plus!!) and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is within a mile of Sacre Coeur and some quaint shops and side streets in that area. I was also able to walk to the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower, but local transportation is a convenient and affordable alternative. Overall, extremely pleased with my experience and would definitely book again.
very friendly staff, and helpful w/directions. nice little hotel right in Paris, walking distance to everything, one block from bus and metro, yet not smack in the chaos of the more tourist-filled, high-end part of Paris. several great bakeries and 2 grocery stores as well as countless restaurants, bars and cafes within 3 blocks of the place. rooms are a bit small, but good value, and likely no smaller than most Paris places.
Stayed here for 3 nights. It is pretty basic accommodation but didn't have any issues. The WiFi was not free.
Obtz seems to market really well for hotels such as this one. Don't be fooled by Obtz or the hotel you think is a great deal...this is the 3rd bad experience we fell for thinking was a good deal on Obtz. End of story
For some reason, the price is much below the standard in Paris, but the quality is more than satisfactory. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel.
Plan to wipe off your shoes after walking on Rue Cardinet because as the title says, this is a construction zone of both the street in front of the place, and a new building directly accross from it that will likely take a year to complete. That said, the location was reasonable, not directly on a busy street (maybe this will be different once the construction is complete) but close to restaraunts as probably all Paris hotels are. Given the breakfast at 20 and internet at 10, I didn't even quote the bar but I was there to walk around anyway.
Room was not ready when we arrived and had not been cleaned. Upon entering room, dirty sheets and towels piled on floor. BIG CONSTRUCTION SITE across the street and was very loud. Noise woke us up very early each morning and could not leave windows open. Room was warm, stuffy and A/C did not work. Because of construction, water was shut off to hotel and we did not have water from 0900-1400. Had to set alarm early in order to use bathroom. Wifi connection was intermittent and had to pay for it. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
This hotel is located 2 blks from the metro system and very easy to locate. We spent some time in this general area and found good food and great sites. All within walking distance.
The hotel was located in a somewhat funky area--a plus--but across from a construction site. The reception area is pleasant and they were willing to let us leave bags in the storage area. However, they charge extra for wifi, breakfast is very expensive, and the rooms are quite shabby, with old tired carpets, marginal beds, peculiar showers and tiny tubs.
The Hotel is Northwest of the center of the city. Many subway lines come there. If you prefer there is a shuttle bus to and from the airport for around 17 euro each way. Is worth it if it is a hot day. The Hotel was surprisingly clean. They charge extra for breakfast, setup on trays. You can carry your tray outside into a nice little garden. They also charge extra for internet. The neighborhood around the Hotel I found very nice. A local area with plenty of places to buy fresh food at markets or buy at restaurants and bars. The prices are much better then when you are in the center of Paris. If you have the chip and pin in your credit card you can rent bikes by the hour from stations all over the city. I did this for days and it was the perfect way to see the city and get around. For the price this Hotel was incredible!
