I've had a good experience at a different Holiday Inn branch in Paris so I decided to try this area. I also booked the more pricey room boasting of a view of the Eiffel tower. Turns out that was the only thing good about it (the breakfast was good too). While the balcony and its view were nice, the room, especially the bathroom, was outdated. The towels were small and old (very thin). There are no slippers and the floor felt a bit dusty. The shower wasn't very strong. In addition, we left a couple of items and we never heard back despite being reassured that we will (we called a couple of times and sent an email). We called the same day we left as soon as we realized that we were missing the items. They weren't very expensive but we would have liked to retrieve them even if we have to pay for shipping and service. Check-in and checkout were fine but when we asked to leave our luggage and borrow umbrellas we were asked to wait for a few minutes while the lady took her time stapling some papers. We noticed she treated the white man who asked for the same things quite differently. It was not a very good experience, I do not recommend this hotel.

This hotel is great. Perfect location to see the sites. The room was clean and nicely decorated with modern plumbing fixtures. The staff is friendly and professional. Take a glass of wine up to the rooftop patio and be in awe of the view. The rooms are small by American standards but the norm in Paris. The only thing I would ask for is additional towels.

The room was tiny but that was to be expected. I found it necessary to do a dust and wipe off the room to make it feel clean. It looked clean but if you looked closely, it could have used more detail. We would stay here again as long as we had a room with a balcony and a view. Otherwise, probably not.

Hotel staff was helpful and courteous, room was great

Very helpful staff, good accommodations, nice rooftop, and close to many attractions.

The hotel is located in a very pleasant area. The room was very small, glass courtin to the toilet instead of doors. Despite the fact that we were out for most of the day the room was not cleaned up even after we requested it leaving for dinner. Definitely not 4 star hotel, more like modest 3 star. We would never stay there again. Look for other hotels in proximity

Very good experience, good customer service, great staff

location was perfect, some things were lacking, like a luggage rack.very tight room

A very friendly staff and being a Holiday Inn you get most of the room amenities you would get in the US of course the size is smaller. No wash cloths in the bathroom but seems common in Europe. The hotel is well situated for Paris and that is a real bonus. On a main street which had noise until late in the evening on the weekend nights. My only real complaint is that we never had good internet. Both my wife and I have MacBook Airs( new) and neither of us could use the internet effectively.

My wife and I celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary in Paris and found this perfectly situated hotel in the heart of historic Paris. You are literally 2 minutes from the Seine, 5 minutes from Notre Dame and 10 minutes from The Louvre (walking). My wife and I walked everywhere but there is a Metro/RER stop right before crossing the bridge going to Notre Dame - so if you would rather use mass transit to go to other points in Paris it's easy.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was within walking distance of Notre Dame, the Louvre and many other distinct landmarks.

perfect location and nice rooftop patio. staff was very friendly and helpful booking restaurant reservations and giving us directions.

This hotel is in a great location of Latin Quarter. It is walking distance to Notre Dame and restaurants/cafes and shops. It has central AC where you can control the temperature in your own room. It is super nice and cool on hot summer days in Paris. Plus, it is roomy compared to other European hotels which are small. We loved it. Highly recommend it to everyone to stay here.

had a great stay at the hotel. The roof top area is worth the price. Staff was very nice and the breakfast was a great/easy way to start the day.

Was good, but I prefer to be near chams elyses, be cause I want to be at the shopping zone

Great location for all of the outstanding Paris sights and experiences. Small room with very limited space to spread out. Bathroom door was just a panel of frosted glass that didn't lock or close all the way. Rooftop view was worth the inconveniences.

Don't let the neme scare you. We stayed for a full week and were delighted. First, let me say that the rooms are terribly small. Think of it as a cabin on a ship. Also, there is a window from the bedroom into the bathroom. You have to really like the person you're with a lot. There is a shade but if you like maximum privacy - be forewarned. That said, the location is absolutely wonderful. If you like to be in the middle of everything then you will ove it. The Metro and the RER are both close by with easy access to CDG and Versailles. Lots of places to eat and there's a small grocery next door (closed on Monday) that's very handy. The rooftop bar is wonderful especially if the weather is nice. We lucked out and had glorious weather the entire stay. The staff is pleasant. They do try to get in annd clean your room early so make sure to put the chain on the door. The A/C was wonderful which is always something I worry about in Europe.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the roof top deck for a glass of wine! Easy access to the d'Orsay and Louvre. Overall we had a great stay. Thank you.

Location great for the stay, tough to get to in Paris traffic from the airport. Don't miss the roof top view of the city, and do stay up for a glass of wine and illumination of the Eiffel tower A couple of blocks walk to Notre Dame, to the metro and to a boat launch. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel food service limited. Room very clean and comfy, just small for the price by US standards. Wireless internet provided. Staff were terrific, even at 5 am when we had to leave for our next flight! We would certainly stay here again.
