Stayed here for our anniversary. Firstly a big thank you to the lovely and very helpful receptionists, namely: Giulia, Imane and especially Hind who I spoke to on the phone and she took details and organised a bouquet of flowers to be in the room for when we arrived. The hotel itself is ideally situated for easy access to the sights of Paris, either by foot or Metro which is no more than a two minute walk away. The Galleries La Fayette and Opera house are literally a few minutes away. It's a cosy hotel that has more of a personal feel to it rather than you just being a number. It is clean and well kept and the rooms had all you needed in them: tea making facilities, fridge, hairdryer and toiletries. We needed a iron and there was one available to borrow so couldn't want for more. The room is small but then that is the same for most hotels in Paris !! But perfectly adequate for what we needed. Continental breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Overall a lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff and well kept. Recommended.
We book a triple superior room that was far from superior, it was small for three person to sleep there, and the bathroom and the closet were small too. The breakfast wasn't continental as it was offered and although they had free wifi, it only worked in the main hall and breakfast room, and with lags and disconnections inside the room. The staff was very nice, and I think that's the only positive thing I could find there. Also they have an elevator only fit for one person with their luggage, if you're not going solo, prepare to be going up and down in various trips.
My partner and me visited Paris for a 3 night break in feb. We got the roissy bus from CDG airport which stopped about a 5 minute walk from our hotel. The hotel is situated in a quaint French street. It is a compact hotel but it's a townhouse so would expect this. On arrival the receptionist was very friendly, I would say they all are. They always greet you with a smile and will do anything to help. The room was quaint again but had everything you required. We we on level 2 looking out into the street. The room could become hot at night but you could easily open a window. Few things in the room could have been updated and fixed. The mirror wardrobe had a big crack, the bathroom could have been modernised but it was all clean. The location was great, next door to Burger King and Mcdonalds and a strip of restaurants. The louvre was about a 20minute walk away and if you wanted to get the underground it was about 5 mins walk away. Beware the underground is convient but we got a 3 zone pass and it didn't work to start with, we had to find an office to fix it which was annoying and ment we were back and forth and ALOT of walking. The attractions are all worth seeing and cruise down the river seine at night is lovely. The place is very tight with security which is good and certainly makes you feel safer. Obviously still best being vigilant yourself. We ate out all the time but there was a shop that did all your food up from McDonald's. Menus are mostly in French which could be difficult, I'm a fussy eater so it wasn't really much for me except pizzas. Paris is a beautiful place, there wasn't something that you would walk past and not think wow that's stunning. Overall i would defo go back, this place will always have a place in my heart as my partner proposed under the effiel tower at sunset... I said YES.
Hotel is in great situation for all major sights, most within walking distance. It is very clean, comfortable bed. Perfectly adequate breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Only one issue (room31) we were awoken around 1am every night by what sounded like furniture being moved around. Could have been an inconsiderate ghost!!! Overall a delightful small hotel in Opera district. However we shall return again.
Came here with my family as a group of 7 and took 2 Twin Bed room and 1 Triple Bed room. Rooms are all very clean. The only downside is that the maintenance of the rooms facilities need to be fixed. Size of rooms are small but it's manageable. Staff had been very friendly and the spread for breakfast is pretty decent as well. All in all I've enjoyed it. Location of this hotel is excellent and it's near to Metro, Major shopping complexes (etc Galleries).
Cute rooms, small but cosy, perfect for couples.Clean, nice buffet continental breakfast. Great convenient location for most of the main attractions. Free wifi. Only slight niggle was we couldnt get a late check out for an evening flight however they offered to store our luggage
We were only one night in this hotel but surely would come again to benefit from a great location in Paris. I walked in to be greeted by a smiling receptionist. Room was ok, clean, comfy bed and good shower. Needed an iron/iron board and they took it straight to the room. Needed a taxi and they called one for us. Next day when leaving we left our cases stored which was very convenient. If you want value for money with helpful people this place surely is one. I recommend it!
We recently stayed at the Hotel Helder Opera. It's small and easy to miss, but this is common in Paris. Inside, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful young woman. Our room was set up for 2 persons. It was small but very clean and had what we needed, a large, comfortable bed ! Soap and shampoo, as well as a hair dryer were provided. Breakfast was optional, and I think an extra charge? This location is perfect. Close to a 'Metro' station, many restaurants, cafes and the 'real' Paris, city life. It was also within walking distance to the bus tour company we used. We actually didn't have to use the metro at all - but we love walking. We would definitely recommend Hotel Helder Opera. And we would definitely stay there again !
Wonderful location near Opera Garnier, gallerie LaFayette and Printemps. Ten minutes from champ elisee. Close to metro RER A. Nice staff. Quite and clean room. Breakfast €12, better go to Starbucks at 100 meters.
I was staying in this 3* hotel for 4 nights to attend "Paris Photo" fair. Pros: 1) great location - city center, 5 min walking from Opera (easy connection to CDG airport with Roissy Bus), 3 min from metro and in the main shopping area 2) very nice staff - polite, attentive and ready to help 3) clean, warm and had everything in the room you need for the short stay (TV, conditioning, safe, minibar, fan, coffee/tea maker) 4) Good buffet breakfast with tasty croissants 5) not high price, actually was better priced than many AirBnB properties in the same location Cons: 1) poof chair in the room was broken (room 31), and nobody touched to fix it for 4 days, despite that it would take max 15 minutes for repair
