Not the very worst place I've ever been, there are definitely some issues with this place though. On the good notes, the staff was pretty friendly, and location puts you close enough to downtown Paris to check out a lot of it by foot but that's pretty much it. Check-in was overly complicated, the breakfast room ceiling leaks profusely (it was raining), internet was slow, every thing was small, place kinda smells funny, really loud around the hotel, and climate control is a joke. Even breakfast was served of of the top of a pool table.. Not worth what they are asking. I wouldn't pay more than 25 euro a night for this place.
Almost everything was wrong with the place. Their wifi was horrible; their elevator was broken; their cleaning service was not good in cleaning (and they disturbed us multiple times while we were still in the room); 12 euros for a very simple breakfast; the room (and the bathroom) were super small; it was noisy (you could hear noises from other rooms, even closing and opening their bathroom doors, and there is a bar nearby which has a lot of noise at night). All in all, it is not worth the price they are asking for.
This place is very close to the Metro. Line #7.. Very small rooms. A place to shower and sleep.. They will store stuff in the fridge for you at the front desk if you ask.. Not bad for solo traveler.. Family probably not so much.. Again Location Location Location
Average hotel, a little bit overpriced. Small rooms, Broken hairdryer. Well cleaned rooms and bathroom. Location is not bad. It works fine for a city trip, when you're out all day and basically just stay there to sleep.
Visited Paris in january 2017 when we checked in receptionist gave us our key stating someone had lost the large key fob so we only had a small key fob. We went to the room which was ideal for us as we would be out and about so only needed it as a base. On our first night we went out and on our return went straight to our room we opened our door and in the morning we could not find our key anywhere we turned the room up side down to no avail. The only thing we could think of was we had left the key on the outside of the door and someone had taken it. We informed reception and were told we would have to pay for a new key and a complete new locking system. When we checked out we had to pay 75 euros, which my partner and I were not happy at all. Ive sent emails to the hotel requesting a refund but had no reply at all. Writing a review on trip advisor may prompt someone from the hotel to reply to us. Has anyone else had the same experience if so what did you do the recoupe your money???
Comfort Hotel is at La fayette street in Paris. It is a nice hotel though the rooms are small with small rest rooms but good to spent few nights. Its a good deal compare to price. Staff at reception is good and guide you with the points of attraction and how to reach there.
A small no-frills hotel. I would not suggest it to people to whom room size and amenities are important. But if you're not going to spend a lot of time in your (very small) room, the hotel does the job. Tiny room with basic amenities, but all scrupulously clean. That is including under the bed as I found out when I dropped something that rolled under it. Not much space to put anything down in the bathroom, particularly as the tiny glass shelf under the mirror was sloping and nothing would stay put on it. You'll have to live out of your sponge bag. The tiny shower may be a problem for someone not of average size. Decent breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff. What I liked less: no safe, which might be a problem for people who want to leave cash or other valuables in the room (check with front desk whether there is a main safe?) and no nightstand lamp, only the main lighting. You could perform surgery by it. Not exactly cozy. But for a short stay, it's quite fine. Wifi works well.
My boyfriend and I went to Paris for my birthday. We picked the hotel because of their location. Easily accessible and close to gare du nord. -Breakfast is average. -The morning receptionist( latino)is the worst I've ever encountered. The pipe was clocked in the bathroom and water would stay for at least 30mn on the surface before drainage. We informed the receptionist who, being rude, said she was going to solve it but it was obvious looking at her attitude that she wouldn't... and nothing was done. -Bed was very uncomfortable. -Last of all, the hotel called a taxi that was supposed to take us to one of boats for a dinner cruise. The driver took us to the other side of bridge 20mn before departure; by the time we reach the place by foot; not knowing where we were going, the boat left. When we went back to the hotel and told them what happened, the night receptionist(a man) couldn't be bothered. We do not recommend this hotel.
This is a budget hotel , which has a good location and offers good value for money . The rooms are basic but clean and as we were out all day we didn't need a big room with lots of facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful.
I stayed there for a period of 5 nights with my wife. The front desk people are great and helpful and above all they speak English. The rooms are quite outdated but clean. Our room ( I don't know about other rooms) was exceptionally small, with the queen size bed occupying most of the room with a very narrow space around the bed to move. If you are considering this hotel, travel with small luggage. I didn't try the breakfast as I considered it overpriced, but around the corner there's an excellent bakery which I used to get freshly baked French croissants and other stuff that were exceptionally delicious, it even opened Sunday morning. The hotel location is brilliant within a nice neighborhood. Various restaurants for all tastes within walking distance as well as multiple supermarkets. Of course having a nearby metro station is of utmost importance.
