The location is unbeatable and the hotel very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. One negative is that the beds are a bit small. Although the breakfast buffet is conveniently available til 2:30 pm and offerx alot of choices, it could look better with better quality food and less choice.
My favourite hotel in Paris. I always stay there with my family for more than 10 years now. Friendly staff, great location and spacious renovated rooms. I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Paris!
we have choosen this hotel because of the recommendation of our travel agent.when we arrived at night the hotel accomodated our family of four in two separated room far one another because the hotel was full and there wasn't connected room but they made their possible to make our trip confortable and the next day they informed us that they will accomodate us in two rooms next to each other. The best things about this hotel is the rooms that are big not like most of the hotel and the breakfast where the staff were friendly and caring ready to help you also one good point that we don't find in any other hotel is that the breakfast last till 2pm. we also loved the concierge who really helped us in accomodating us a taxi in a matter of time to catch our flight. plus the location is very central in the middle of georges 5 ,avenue montaigne and champelysses. thank you for reading my review and hope u will choose and like this hotel as me.
Hotel Chateau Frontenac is very nice hotel in Paris, France. Very good location, very clean rooms, friendly staff and reasonable price. It’s ideal to stay in this hotel to be in the middle of everything.
I stayed from March 20, 2018 till March 26, 2018. It was my first visit to Paris, and I have to confess that it was a great experience to me in Paris with Hotel Chateau Frontenac. Really it is the perfect hotel in the perfect location, as well as in a very safe environment. Moreover, the staff are - Amazing, - Friendly, - Helpful, - Professional, - Fully devoted, - Solving any problem promptly. In summary I felt as if I am at my home. Regards, Mohamad Akram Naoura (Lebanon).
Extremely well located; a couple of blocks from the Champs Elysees and conveniently close to 2 metro stations. Everyone at the front desk was courteous. The elevator is quite small, but that is a very minor detail. The area is quite nice, with many good restaurants nearby, not to mention exclusive stores such as Hermes and Louis Vuitton in the hotel's vicinity. Would return to this hotel without hesitation.
Spent 3 nights at this hotel. The location is perfect! 2 minutes away from Champs-Élysées and a 20-30 minutes walk from Tour Eiffel. The room looks more modern and spacious in photos but it was comfortable and clean. Didn’t miss the fact that the hotel doesn’t have it’s own restaurant because there are so many good places to eat around. Overall it was a nice stay, will definitely come back because it’s perfect location!
I booked this inspired by the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City - which is amazing. This isn't that. But it is OK. Looks good from the outside and some very nice Art Deco features on the inside. Overall in good condition. I was greeted by very grumpy staff. Check in is a bit bureaucratic and unfriendly. The key they give you, you could use to club a seal. Crazy in 2018. The elevators are very slow and small. But the stairs are fairly accessible. Rooms are quite OK and clean. The bathrooms are OK size but the shower is not very powerful (in the bath). Welcome bottle of water is provided - but not refreshed daily - which I always find odd. Do I have to check in and check out daily to get a fresh bottle of water? Location can't be beat. Extremely handy for Champs Elysees and central Paris. Walk everywhere - great. Very good breakfast and wasn't too busy when I was there. This was included in the room price for me. I am torn whether to give 3* or 4*. As I write this, I have revised to 4* but it is borderline. Probably a bit pricier than equivalent hotels - but not too bad. Marked down a bit for grumpy staff but I had a better experience checking out - where they seemed to care if I had enjoyed my stay or not. Overall, nice hotel that looks good outside and in, with clean rooms. Can't beat the location.
The hotel is located a half block from the Champs Elysees and a 20 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Great for shopping as well and within walking distance the Crazy Horse. The room and bathroom were comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. As previously noted the heat was not controllable as we attempted to turn it off and the front desk solution was to "open a window" as the air conditioning would not work until Spring/Summer. The website photos do make the rooms and hotel appear more modern than in person. I would not rate the hotel 4 stars more like 3.5 overall.
The Hotel staff went above and beyond for our stay, they were very friendly and accommodating. We even received a wake up call when we woke up late for our shuttle back to Geneva from the front desk to get us there on time. Rooms are very comfortable with large balcony's. If I find myself back in Verbier, I will definitely be staying at Hotel Cheateau Frontenac!
