I stayed with my wife and 7 year old son in a double room. All perfect good breakfast, highly recommended, excellent location. Very comfortable bed and bathroom linen. I really liked the tranquility of the hotel.
I was tasked with finding rooms for a spur-of-the-moment girls' trip to Paris. None of us had ever been and I knew nothing about Paris hotels, but the Hotel Chateau Frontenac made me look like a travel expert! I stumbled across this hotel on Expedia and took a chance because of their 4 star rating, great reviews, ideal location, and a very generous discounted rate offer. Again, trying to be economical, I booked two of their not-yet-refurbished rooms at the lower rate and was thrilled to find we had been upgraded to refurbished rooms upon check in. We knew that accommodations (especially bathrooms) in European hotels are often smaller than what Americans are used to seeing in the US, so we could not believe how spacious our rooms and bathrooms were! The rooms here are clean, beautifully decorated, well-appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was divine, especially after the long flight. The hotel's location is ideal- nestled amongst wonderful cafes, brasseries, shops, and a very short walk to the Champs-Elysees, but far enough away that even in June, the area did not feel crowded with tourists. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant, so I cannot speak to that. The bar was a bit pricey compared to other places in the area, but the bartender was very friendly and the pours were generous. All of the staff was attentive and friendly, but particularly at the front desk. Our luggage was delayed by our airline and they tried diligently to navigate through the Delta and Air France customer service maze (and language barrier) on our behalf; I cannot begin to express how much I appreciated that kindness. We cannot wait to return to Paris and would absolutely return here to the Hotel Chateau Frontenac.
Staff at check in is Unfriendly but staff at Concierge is Very Friendly, kind And helpful Breakfast every day is the same Staying there for 5 days leaves u skip breakfast that has no options and everyday its the same. Location is awesome but rooms are very small with Noisy streets creating problems in sleeping sound
The location of this property is excellent and their service is top notch. Accessible to local bike paths which were a wonderful way to see the countryside. Best breakfast buffet! A jewel in the Loire Valley!
We stay here for 3 nights. The strongs points are: location, very near "Avenue des Champs-Élysées", several restaurantes and shops, and the courtesy of all staff. We had a good room, clean and confortable. There were nice days.
Generally excellent: well appointed & graciously decorated rooms which are a good size by Paris standards, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and room, spacious & pleasant bar. Well located off Champs Élysées at Arc de Triumph end, with excellent Metro connections Many good bistros and restaurants very close, plus super mkts & wine store. One weakness was an unpleasant odour in bathroom which I believe they were attempting to remedy.
Hotel location is amazing. You don't need taxi. Rooms are really good. New and clean. And hotel personals are friendly and helpful. Foods are delicious. Hotel have nice pub and restaurant. I will visit there again.
Perfectly charming, small boutique hotel with a delightful breakfast buffet filled with so many choices included. After a long flight from the US, the room was welcoming: super-soft linens and oh-so-comfortable king bed. Very well-appointed.
Great staff made the stay a pleasure. Thor hotel location is great to see the sights and although not updated like many it gives you that old France feel. We will go back and stay again on our next trip to Paris.
I loved the Hotel. My room was charming with a well stocked mini bar, and all the facilities I wanted. In particular I enjoyed the interaction with the staff.. they were extremely helpful, very supportive of my attempts to speak French and friendly across the board.
