We stayed at Best Western mid June and had a great time. The rooms were clean, the location was perfect (close to everything) and the service was awesome. Jahna (the general manager) & Hassen were so welcoming and helped us with any questions or things we needed. Highly recommend!
Paris was the final destination of our Honeymoon and we stayed only 2 days in town. As soon as the check in was done my wife and I put the luggage in the room and went to the street. When we came back, at night, we noticed that the room was really hot and the air conditioner wasn't working. I immediately went to reception to complain and the recepcionist told me that he couldn't do nothing on that day and that on the next day they would solve the problem. We spent the night on an oven, sweating as if we were in a sauna. Extremely frustrating for the first honeymoon night in Paris. On the next day first time in the morning I came back to complain and the other recepctionist said that they would fix the air conditioner, so by the time we came back, at afternoon, everything would be ok. When we came back about 3PM, it was all the same, we were still in a room as if we were in a sauna. I came back again, furious, demanding a room change. The room change was done, but for a room with THE SAME PROBLEM... unbelievable. So, for the third time, I had to complain and demand again for room change, which was made. After this second change the problem was finally solved, they gave us a room with an air conditioner properly working. In my opinion, the Hotel Manager should had solven the problem on the first day, with a way better support than the poor one that was given to us, specially after I told then that we were there for our honeymoon one.
This place was a total surprise. I booked it because it was relatively inexpensive in a very expensive centrally located area. The check in was fast and professional. The room was large for paris hotels. It was clean had great bedding and every amenity in the room that you would expect at a 5 star hotel room. The bathroom room was totally updated with a great shower. Book this place.
The location was really good for accessibility to the subway, Louvre, and some nice restaurants. The room was spacious, had a nice towel warmer and large, thick bath towels. The elevator was tiny but worked well. The breakfast was ok. The staff was excellent! The general manager, Jahna, even sent some lovely gifts to our room for my daughter's graduation. We really enjoyed our stay.
My husband and I had such a wonderful time in Paris, staying in this hotel! All the staff was really really kind and the room was clean and neatly organized! I stayed in their Junior Suites room number 811 for 4 nights and received this wonderful VIP gift amenities, perfume soaps named 29 St.Honore! The hotel is easy access to numerous places and in walking distance to Louvre, Jardin de Tuleries, etc.
We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while we were in Paris. The location is perfect. Very close to the Louvre, shopping and lots of restaurants. We went to La couleur des Bles for pastries, which was less than a block from the hotel. We also went to some of the other restaurants within a couple blocks of the hotel. There were a few different Metro stops and trains nearby. The Les Halles stop takes you straight to the airport. We had an easy time checking in. The woman at the desk directed us to the elevator closest to the desk. If you're lucky you can get more than one person plus luggage on the elevator. Two people and two carry on luggages barely fit. It's so small and can feel very claustrophobic. The rest of the trip we went up and down the stairs since our room was on the 2nd floor. The hallway by our room was also very short and narrow. Our room itself was nice. A queen bed that was pretty comfortable and had fluffy pillows. The bed seemed shorter than those found in the US. I'm 5'3" and it seemed like my toes were close to touching the end of the bed. The bathroom was a decent size and had a nice shower. We had our room cleaned daily and the towels were always replaced. We didn't try the restaurant or any other services available. Overall, the issues we had were very minor. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.
We spent 4 nights at the Best Western Premier Louvre Saint Honore and had a comfortable stay for the most part. LOCATION: The hotel is in a perfect location just behind the Louvre, near other tourist sites like the Palais Royale, and close to plenty of shops and restaurants. It was undoubtedly a great home base for exploring the city in any direction. There's also a metro stop nearby which was very convenient for getting around to some of the further areas. ROOM: This was actually the smallest hotel room we stayed in during our trip to Europe. I had to squeeze by the end of the bed and the wall on which the TV was mounted just to get around to the other side. It was quite possibly the smallest room on our floor (room 703) so it's likely that all rooms ending in a 3 will be on the small side (and there are only 3 rooms per floor). There also wasn't enough space to store two suitcases without having them in the way. I had to move the chair in the room and push it against a nightstand just to be able to squeeze my suitcase into a corner. Despite the size, it was tastefully decorated and had a very comfortable bed. It was also quiet. BATHROOM: The bathroom was a good size and clean. The rainshower was great and the hair dryer worked wonderfully. Not much counter space though so I would recommend packing your toiletries in a case that can by hung up. HOTEL: Modern decor and very clean. At night the front doors are locked if the attendant steps away from the desk so you may need to wait to be let in. The lift is VERY small and only fits 2 people or 1 person with a suitcase. The floor hallways were also very narrow so it can be a nuisance when coming and going with luggage. SERVICE: Staff were pleasant to deal with and our room was cleaned well each day. We didn't have breakfast included in our stay, but it is available in the breakfast room on the lower level. It was about 19 euros per person. We simply walked to one of the many cafes each morning and got a typical Parisian breakfast for about 8 or 9 euros. OVERALL: Although it was a nice hotel, I would have preferred a bit more space to settle into so I will probably look for other options when returning to Paris or specifically request a larger room if we decide to return to the Louvre Saint Honore. This is no fault of the hotel itself because they can only work with the space they have. It just comes down to personal preference.
We had a lovely stay here. The hotel is just steps away from major attractions and great bars and restaurants. There are also lots of reasonable places to eat breakfast, as the hotel was expensive and we didn't have it included in our price. There is a small lounge area for the evening if you want to have a drink etc, but we tended to stay out as the atmosphere in Paris is wonderful. The front desk is close to the front door, but sometimes is not manned, late evening it does mean that you can stand in the street for a few minutes before anyone arrives to let you in (even when you have a key). I would stay here again. Rooms are very nice, clean and not too overpriced if you book early.
Problems: 1. We arrived at 1 p.m. and were told, that the rooms will be ready at 2 p.m. This is ok. We left our luggage and returned to the hotel at about 3.30 p.m.. We got our keys, went upstairs and found out that the rooms were not ready. . We complained at the reception and were told it will take 5 more minutes. It took about 30 minutes. 2. Later the day I called the front desk from the room telephone using the number 9 (to be used also for an outside line and for emergencies). Nothing worked, no reply!! No outside line! Later I complained at the front desk to find out, that there was temporarily nobody at the front desk and that the instruction to get an outside line was wrong. I think that the above problems are not acceptable for a 4 Star Best Western Hotel!!
