Lovely small Parisian hotel with great restaurant. Very conveniently situated away from tourist centre, but close to Metro line direct from Gare du Nord and just a few stops to all of the tourist sights. Very good area for restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff.

lovely hotel, lovely staff , the room we stayed in was compact but very well decorated and met all our needs enjoyed the breakfast ,would stay again. walking distance to Place des Vosges and Victor Hugo house which I would recommend the entrance is free, well worth a visit

Auberge Flora is without a doubt our favorite hotel in Paris. When we arrive, we are treated like family returning home after a long journey. The people speak excellent English and are always pleasant, attentive, and ready to help. It has everything we need, but we're not paying for things we don't need or use (no business center, no fitness center). The people are warm and friendly, resourceful and eager to help. The restaurant if wonderful with Chef Flora Mikula creating an array of superb dishes. Her charcuterie is outstanding, and don't miss her lamb burger. Salads are generous, fresh and made with the finest ingredients. Desserts are refreshing and generous - some remind us of earlier times, like baba au rum. Even small plate tapas snacks like falafel have her special flair. Breakfast is reasonably priced and delicious (a pleasant change from those reasonably-priced Paris hotels where a sad little buffet breakfast is15 Euros and not very exciting). Most of the rooms are not overly large, just large enough. If you need a larger room, very nice larger rooms are available, but this is not a hotel in which you just sit around in your room, it's a well located treasure that you will adore sleeping in so you can be rested up for your adventures the next day. The beds are extremely comfortable with absolutely lovely bedding. The amenities have been carefully chosen - excellent, high quality, and natural. The huge shower head is a delight. The Bastille market, the newly renovated Picasso Museum, Place de Vosges, shopping in the Marais, trendy new restaurants, and more are all within easy walking distance. The #69 bus stops just across the street so you can easily get to the Louvre and also to the neighborhood near the Eiffel Tower. The Metro is close-by, too. It's a great location with the feeling of a neighborhood. For us, it's home in Paris.

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was OK. Rooms are comfortable with the basic amenities that you would expect but with no much space to spare, at least not in our room. It felt a bit cramped but, from my research before booking, looks like it's a common theme in these stylish parisiense hotels. Breakfast was ok, but a bit expensive. Probably you can have better breakfast outside but it may be a bit difficult to find anything open in the morning (maybe everything was closed because it was a Saturday/August?!). If you really like to have one of those big breakfasts with a lot of options, to fuel you for the day, try the big chains instead.

Brilliant weekend in this stylish little gem , excellently located for the pick of restaurants, bars and cafes and the bustling, eclectic atmosphere of Le Marais. The hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the service was top notch and friendly. We highly recommend Auberge Flora and will definitely be back ourselves.

We chose Auberge Flora as it's prices were similar to the big chains such as Novotel, Ibis, etc...but it looked more Parisian. We flew to Charles De Gaulle airport, caught the RER B to Gare Du Nord (about 30 mins). From here we caught the number 5 Metro line towards Place D'Italie and got off at Richard Lenoir station taking about 10 minutes to arrive. Outside the Metro the hotel is on the other side of the park running down the middle of the road and about 3 minutes walk toward the Bastille. Upon entering the hotel lobby you are given a key and there's a lift to your room. We stayed in 102. It was very nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable and the shower and sink superb. In the room is free wifi, a hair dryer, TV, lockable safe and a bottle of tap water. It all appeared to be very clean and the room was cleaned daily. The aircon in the room was too noisy (I would say it was faulty), but when we switched it off the room stayed at a good temperature. The room and the was a little small, but comfortable. It would really helpful to have coffee making facilities, though this could be something that is simply not done in France? 120ml of red wine cost €7 in the bar downstairs. While this was lovely wine I cannot see that is a reasonable price. While we were in Paris it appears that many things are overpriced. I am not sure if there is a hidden tax or a particular reason, but as you find the £ struggling against the euro it is hard to accept these prices when a bottle of wine from a supermarket is about £5. It would appear that the Auberge Flora restaurant seeks to be a prestigious fine dining restaurant and as such prices are very high. It was the perfect romantic hotel. I'd advise buying a couple of books of 10 metro tickets as this enabled us to get around easily. We did walk to the Bastille and we walked a lot of Paris, but Richard Lenoir is a little off course from the main attractions, so the metro helps.

Fabulously glamorous hotel, its worth paying for the 'Superior' double for the bath alone! Staff are generous and friendly, added bonus of being in a great and Central neighborhood and for the stylish bar and restaurant attached. The

Stayed there for 5 days, going to a concert in Paris and the room was nice and warm and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel has a good restaurant and bar, I recommend it and would stay there agen

Such a lovely little hotel. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are so not cell decorated and full of Charme. The location is really nice and the food is great. Don't forget to eat in at least once - so good!

We stayed for three nights and very much enjoyed it. The rooms are small, but are very nicely decorated and comfortable. The aircon is very efficient - which was lucky for us. The location is central and there are lots of bars and restaurants around. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food is very good, portions are quite generous so you may not need as much as you think.
