Old rooms needing massive upgrading. Nothing special will be done if you plan tour honeymoon here. Basic room and very expensive food. Not what you can categorize as Romantic place, even if your get through Junior Suite Overwater Bungalow (only 4 are available and even these are close to the shore so barely overwater)

This is an amazing place with great staff and wonderful amenities

Perfect place for a relaxing vacation, excellent beach and activity options nearby.

Beautiful island and hotel. Loved our overwater bungalow. Food is really expensive. There is no other place nearby to eat. We would spend a $100.0 a night for dinner for 3 adults. There is free kayaks, paddle boards. There are turtles and dolphins to watch. My adults kids loved the pool bar. We drove by Hilton and it was a dive. So glad we picked InterContinental. Bring a lot of money.

The worst part about staying at this hotel is that the hotel management had the large lobby and walkways covered with liquid insecticide while I was working in the business center, which was open to the lobby. Hotel management did not tell me this was to occur, so I was exposed to the fumes and liquid for more than one hour and I had to walk through the insecticide to get back to my room.. Hotel staff was in a back room so they weren't exposed, and the contractors wore special breathing apparatus while they were putting the liquid insecticide throughout the lobby.

This hotel has perfectly located . The water is unbelievable beautiful. This is a must go go place.

The reception of each employee at the hotel is great, the concierge (Quintin and Paloma) give an excelent service in an out of the hotel. We strongly recomend the "premium over the water bungalow" since it is the one that has the best views.

We had a wonderful time, in large part to the assistance of the staff and hotel amenities. Everyone we met was very friendly and looked to our requests. The hotel was the furthest from the airport, but seemed the best located for any excursions. We spent one afternoon on a neighboring island, half a day on an ATV tour and also took in a Tiki dinner. All was booked and charged through the hotel, making payments and reservations easy. The best part is a local market across the street that you can grab breakfast, lunch, and drinks from that saves a ton of money on food. Quick note that the overwater bungalow is not truly an overwater bungalow, more of a deck that goes over the water. There are a couple premium overwater bungalows, which are different than the overwater bungalows (just a deck over the water).

There is a difference between overwater bungalow and premium overwater bungalow.
