The location is great, near markets, some shopping, and great restaurants/bars that are walking distance. It's right in the new city so you can walk to the riverfront and get great nighttime views. It's a cheap taxi or uber into the old town ($4-5 USD). The hotel itself is very nice, quiet, comfortable. the rooms are huge with plenty of space (it is an apartment style). Great pool and poolside service. Smooth checkin process and staff.

The reception staff were very friendly and efficient especially Luis Carlos and a young lady whose name I forget. The room was large with minimal noise from other rooms and the corridor and the large bed was comfortable. There was a safe in the room and the location was good for the metro, a supermarket and some bars and restaurants. We were also impressed with the room cleaning as they always managed to clean our room quickly and efficiently no matter how late we left it! There was a gym and a pool although we found the gym hot for any prolonged exercise and at weekends the pool was taken over b6 large family groups armed with loud music and large amounts of alcohol that discouraged us from using the pool. That said we enjoyed our stay and actually extended our time there.

This hotel is idealy situated near to a budget rent a car office. i always come to this hotel when i am in panama for business. the rooms are always clean and the the beds are made every day. the staff is very friendly.

We could not have been happier. We rented a lovely, large studio apartment for 2 1/2 weeks. All of the staff were helpful and accommodating without being pushy. The pool is just beautiful with plenty of lounges and beach towels. We went in the morning and then again in the late afternoon. My husband swam laps and I paddled around. The place is immaculate, including the pool and all the other public areas. Apt. had an office area with a desk and electric outlets for charging phones and laptops. Good sized safe in the room. Small kitchen had everything we needed. Two grocery stores nearby. Short walk to the Metro station. A washer and dryer are on every floor.

We stayed here the last week of January. The value for this apartment was great. Pros - clean, have towels at the pool, great pool, great sauna, showers by the pool area. The staff are very accommodating. One of the male staff let us borrow his metro card so we didn't have to pay the $2 fee for it. When we asked for more shampoo/conditioner they brought us it every day, Had good knives, wine glasses, plates and fully equipped kitchen. Only two burners. There is a food truck that we found out too late next door so I would recommend to grab breakfast there if you don't want to make it. There is a line up in the morning so it must be good. Cons - no hot water in the showers outside, no soap, shampoo etc in the showers outside. In the financial district so you have to travel to go to Casco Viejo. No dishwashing soap, dish sponge and proper dish towel in the kitchen. The dish towel looked like a hand towel. Had to purchase a sponge and dish soap as they didn't provide them.

The location is great. The appartmants are large and comfortable. the kitchen is well equipped. Food level in the restaurant is average. Service can improve. Great swimming . Overall good experiencepool. Lousy gym

My wife and I recently spent a week at Marriott Executive Apartments, in Panama City. We were extremely pleased with our accommodations. Our 1BR apartment included a large bedroom, a separate, nicely sized living room, a small work area, and a kitchenette. The bedding was comfortable. The furnishings in the apartment were modern and attractive--although perhaps not "luxurious." The hotel has a restaurant (which we did not sample), a pool, and a small exercise room. All members of the staff were extremely friendly and unfailingly helpful. Bottom line: For us, this was a great place to stay, with tons of space to comfortably spread out, at a significantly lower price than the more "upscale" hotels--but with no fewer practical amenities. What this hotel "lacks" is a large, glitzy lobby, with stores selling overpriced merchandise and an active bar. If you want those, go elsewhere. One note to consider: As has been noted in other reviews, transportation in Panama City is almost comically dysfunctional. There are virtually no street signs. No one seems to know where anything in the city, except major landmarks, is located. The hotel's description of where it is located is pretty much useless. Be prepared to encounter confusion when you try to explain to taxi drivers where you want to go. Make sure to stress to the driver that you want to go to the Marriott near Via Espana--and not the Marriott with the casino.

So many great things to say about this hotel! First off, the staff is AMAZING - each and every one. Always greet you with a smile and are there to assist with you with anything you need (big shout out to Luis and his partner at the front desk). The rooms are very spacious and clean and have beautiful views if you are on a high floor. Highly recommend!

This place is perfect for an extended stay. The staff and service was excellent. The rooms are kept clean and serviceable. I would only say that if you are into the hotel bar scene - you're not going to find it there. Having said that - you can still get a drink if desire one. They have a beautiful pool as well. Highly recommend it!

We were just there for 7 nights (two long weekends) and until the last night I would have given the place 5 stars. They had an "event" that night. A party for a 15 year old girl's birthday. the music was so loud that we couldn't sleep - even though we were on the first floor - which is 5 floors above lobby level. they moved us to the 4th floor - where we could still here the music. We finally moved to the 6th floor on the other side of the floor and we got some sleep. The staff knew that we were leaving at 5 am for a flight and needed to sleep. We lost 2 hours of sleep in the process (meaning we had about 4 hours of sleep!) I don;t know how this is allowed in a place where people pay to sleep!!!
