No record of my stay - paid in advance. Drove 6 hours, 2 cars and no condo. No help from the resort - left in the cold on Easter weekend to find a hotel on my home. No help from resort even with proof of payment. 3 hours on phone to try and resolve to find another hotel at twice the price on a spring break weekend. Rude front desk, GM offered no assistance. - I was left stranded with 6 kids and they all left at 5pm as if they didn’t care!

The hotel is older and the furniture needs to be replaced as it is old and dirty. The cleaning staff needs to be more mindful of mold growing on the ice dispenser and the ring around the washing machine door. Overall I really enjoyed myself and the staff was super nice.

The hotel was decent, but for the age it was a little run down. The overall hotel was decent. The pool had mold, the dryer was loud and squeeky, the drywall was done poorly, service desk was barely there

We stayed in a 1 bedroom + bunks condo. It was overall ok. There was some scuff marks on the walls and the footboard on our bed was broken. I had to take pictures and report it to the front desk so I wouldn't be charged. Only one pool was heated and the lazy river and other pool were closed so this was disappointing. We would stay again though. It was a great location and the free DVD rentals were a plus

The room was all that was promised and everything worked. However, the hallways were dirty, not sand but dirt. The air conditioning in the enclosed walkways was not working, and there was evidence of long term leaks in the ground floor entrance to the west wing. ( A wet floor sign and one towel was there as was the peeling sheet rock tape from the ceiling.) The game room is disappointing with an out of order sign for the children's bowling. The kids had great fun at the beach even though we were constantly on the lookout for the jelly fish that were our swimming partners. There was no warning by the staff about the jelly fish.

The trip didn't start out to good when we booked a 2 bedroom/2 bath room with Orbitz and then got there and were told Orbitz only booked us a 1 1/2 bedroom (I specifically asked 2 different people at Orbitz to confirm there were 2 beds because we had 2 couples in our group. Each time I was assured we would have a king and queen bed but instead only had a king and bunk beds). The manager at Splash got right on it, made a phone call, and made copies of my documentation from Orbitz that I booked a 2 bedroom/2 bath. We ended up in a 3 bedroom/3 bath deluxe suite with 3 balconies. The room and view were awesome. There was a pool, small waterpark, and lazy river for the kids as well as an arcade. The beach was clean and parasailing, banana boat rides, etc. were offered right on the beach by the hotel. Shopping and restaraunts were just down the road within 2 to 3 miles. Again, I can't say enough about the staff at Splash. The manager got right on our problem and asked me everytime I saw him during the week how things were going. On the day we checked out, he told me there was no way he would have made us suffer for someone else's mistake. I would highly recommend Splash for this reason and for everything else it offers.

We stayed at the Splash in November so it was pretty chilly. The only had one pool that was heated. But, my kids still love the water park area. The game room was fun with a little something for everyone. We also like the free dvd's you could watch at night before settling in for the evening. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic. We had two big bedrooms with an ocean view in one of them. With three children we still had a ton of room and never felt crowded. The room did need a little painting in the entrance area where the carts must have been hitting it. We are definetly going to come back it's a little far down the beach but the accomodations make it all worth while. I would highly recommend families to consider this hotel.
