We loved the location and the beautiful view of the ocean. The area was convenient to restaurants and shopping. We traveled 20 to 30 minutes each day to golf courses.
However, upon check in the front desk people were very nice. Our room was a little dated and furniture was worn out. I can get past the issue that it was minimal. I had to contact the front desk five days in a row for issues regarding never cleaning our room, no clean towels, no other supplies or trash emptied, floors were sticky upon check in, never mopped while we were there. I was told that they had a lot of guests checking out and they had to clean the rooms for their New guests and Simply did not have time to get to our room. Commode stopped up and we called early in the morning, returned to our room late in the evening and commode had not been touched or our room not cleaned. Asked front desk if they could move us to another room that was serviced and the front desk person indicated she was not authorized to do anything for us and that we would have to contact the manager whom She had never seen or met. We decided that after five days of dealing with our issues that we were just going to check out early. We discovered that the front desk person we had been dealing with had resigned last evening. They indicated that due to the fact that we had booked using third-party Expedia that Expedia would have to give us a refund for the two nights that we did not use the room. We are still awaiting a refund.
