Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs

The rooms in this hotel are very nice. They are clean, spacious and have all of the latest technology including a large flat screen TV. The balcony is also great to have. The rest of the hotel is unimpressive. The restaurant messed up twice on my order and the food is mediocre. The staff did not always answer the phone when calling the front desk. The valet staff is the hotel’s best asset. These guys were very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again because of the quality of the room and the excellent location of this hotel.

Check out us at noon. But you can’t check in until 4:00. This is frustrating since I’d wanted to check in and enjoy the weather. When I did get check in, my room felt like a sauna—the air conditioning in my room in Palm Springs wasn’t working. The front desk didn’t have any other rooms but said they would get it fixed. They didn’t fix it until the next day so I didn’t get any sleep that night and they never offered any sort of apology. The next night the hotel was having an event with live music. When I got back to the hotel after dinner, there was a long line of people checking in to get in to the event. There wasn’t a separate line for guests. So I stood in line for thirty minutes just to get back into my hotel that I was paying $300+ a night to stay at.

This was the third trip to the Hard Rock in Palm Springs. The Hotel is not receiving the upgrades it needs to stay ahead of the game. Food In the hotel is not the best, so thank goodness the main drag is across the street for fine dining. Valet and cleaning service overly friendly and attentive. Those two departments deserve a raise. Capital improvement must be made before I return to this particular Hard Rock. Their locations in Cancun and San Diego are head and shoulders above this one.

The vent system blows cold air on November. We asked for switching the room, and the new room was almost same. Used cups were left on mini bar. When I complained, the front desk blamed house keeping, without apology.

Large room, perfect location, great staff. The resort fee is a little pricey.

Pool was too small, they had a pool party when we got there and it was very dirty. It was gross after the party was over!

Stayed there 2 nights. Enjoyed the room. Enjoyed the pool parties.

Great room & stay at Hard Rock Hotel. Close to downtown so lots of restaurants and bars near by.

Very clean and welcoming hotel. Would definitely recommend

Nice and comfy. Great location. Sad the bar closed early

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and hotel cleanliness was horrible. Dead cockroach was in the hall for the whole duration of our stay.

Check in hectic no organization, phonetc in room did not work. Lamp did not work and loud hallways and thin walls.

The hotel was nice and I enjoyed a massage at the Rock Spa. I don't like hotels that charge mandatory resort fees even if you don't use the resort amenities. There is no parking - mandatory valet, which is included in the resort fee.

Its load all around from the music at the pool to the people who drank too much coming in late making noice in halls.

The unfortunate thing about my stay is that it was too short. I stayed for overnight and miss out on the amities offered. I was informed at the end of my stay I was being charged for these amities. I was very surprised, I did not receive notice from Orbitz these charges were going to be in placed on my final bill. Overall my experience was great.

Things were not working. No complimentary water. If you accidentally touch the water bottle, and charge will show up on your bill. No handicapped rooms available.

A nice place to stay. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Overall good experience. Only issue was they closed the pool early one night without informing guests.

The staff was friendly, though a little too casual. Rooms are nice, but I found they were a little dark and hard to see. Resort tax was exorbitant.

The rooms are great, food at the restaurant was outstanding, great pool and spa , great Bar
