Days Inn Palm Springs

Top floor Room was horribly hot. The air conditioner didn't work. The room smelled. The Days Inn is old and needs updating. The tub was clogged and the room has a Commercial toilet that makes loud noises. The Mgr did give us another room that had a working air conditioner, but it's set at a temp that can't be adjusted, so sleeping through out the night was uncomfortable.

nice pool and size, besides that upon my arrival i had ask desk clerk (she) did they receive my request from 1 king bed to 2 queen beds she said no,i then ask to upgrade and she said we sold out for tonight so i said ok 20 mins into being in my room i saw a spider and killed it,5 minutes later i saw some type of crawling creature and also killed it moments later i saw another bug so then i went back to the front office,I showed her a video of all and request to change rooms which she did and i requested 2 beds which she then gave me, when in the beginning she said they were sold out.1 mad about the dirtyness of the room and 2 mad about the dishonesty.DO NOT GO HERE AVOID THIS PLACE.

Overal had a good experience. I'll definitely recommend this hotel. Near downtown and good price.

Nice and clean hotel. Loved the pool area. Great room for your money, will definitely stay here again.

Not very clean when we showed up. We had to get the room re-cleaned. The staff was very nice and attentive.

Wonderful location. Nice pool and grounds. Rooms need a little updating.

I've been staying here for years. Friendly, helpful, very accommodating staff. Beautiful pool area. Convenient to restaurants and the free Buzz trolley. Very affordable, large rooms, with patios or decks. My only complaint would be that you hear everything your neighbors are saying or doing.

This property has seen better days, it's time for a face lift!!! Outside of the friendly & accommodating staff and the pool area being quiet and relaxing, with great view of the mountains, we would not stay at this property again. As for the pool area... the hot tub was a nice size and temperature was just right! They had a couple of canopies if you wanted shade at the pool but didn't help the rest of the guests that could have used umbrella's and little tables between the loungers to place drinks on. They could invest in better towels for at the pool and in the rooms. The grounds and gardens were kept clean and tidy. The hotel rooms were not so pleasant... the bathroom is very small that the door hits the toilet when you open it. Every time we opened the fridge door it left an unpleasant & lingering odor for a few minutes. The patio deck was covered with cheap indoor/outdoor carpeting, obviously to hide the poor condition the deck was in... we had to be careful where we stepped due to soft spots that sank when you stepped on them. The hallways did not get vacuumed the entire time we stayed there (5 days). Air conditioner was very noisy. Only Bonus..there is a great & convenient restaurant/bakery adjacent to the property that serves breakfast & lunch.

Walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants

Fast check in n clean staff was always there to help n bring whatever u need to your room Even has a gym at the back n pool everyone was so friendly to us n close to the downtown area .great hotel n room n bed soft n clean

This is the third time I've stayed at the Days Inn Palm Springs and I'm completely satisfied. It's conveniently located on the Buzz trolley route, close enough to everything PS has to offer, but far away enough to be peaceful. Rick's Diner is great for a hearty breakfast or lunch. Most importantly, the staff, especially Lupita, at the front desk are beyond excellent. The pool is relaxing, the rooms clean and the grounds well kept. What more can you ask for at a great value price???

Small lobby with no driveway, and no breakfast included, but pool area was lovely and room clean. Convenient to downtown Palm Springs.

Room was nice, needs some minor renovating. The blackout curtain on the slidiig door is nice for privacy, but add a sheer one behind it to allow natural light in during the day while maintaining some privacy.

If the room had been cleaned i.e. no body hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, it would've been average/fine/okay for the price.

I walked into my room and noticed it smelled musty. There were small bugs crawling around in the bathroom and the sliding glass door made a horrific noise every time I tried to open it. After a long day I crawled into bed and realized the sheets were the main cause of the musty smell. I'm not joking. They smelled like sweat and body odor. It was disgusting. The small bugs in the bathroom could have been fleas. They didn't jump or fly. They just crawled around by the sink. This room was disgusting. I've stayed in Days Inn's before but this was by far the worst ever.

The showers could have been much better. The was hardly any pressure which made the experience frustrating. The beds were comfortable but the room could have been a little cleaner. Maybe dust the actual radio off. There needs to be also better lighting. It was so dark in there with all of them on at night.

What a pile of crud. This hotel is dirty, the ammenities are non existent. Our shower is the size--literally--of a motor home shower, and has no light- the bathroom has no window either so the shower is literally pitch dark with a flimsy little shower curtain kind of covering it. the bathroom sink leaks, I had to scour the room to make sure I didnt see any bedbugs-this place is a joke for $125 a night. The sliding door didn't open and I'm not sure is secure...when we weren't yo check in we stood at the desk for about 5 min., called out "hello" and the clerk stuck her head out the door and said "yeah"....we are staying here because after we got here there is literally no other room in the city because of a big event. Nope, don't come here.

nothing spectacular. Quick and easy place to stay. Clean and comfy..

The king room is roomy nice extra room with sink refrigerator and microwave . Very comfortable . Just a bit far from everything but z good value for the money. We were not disappointed .

The room was quite clean and inviting and quite large. It overlooked the pool area and was pleasant. The AC was loud and hard to control, but not necessary to run at night, since we had cool nights. A very nice breakfast and lunch restaurant adjoined the property and a popular gay bar was located across the street. Downtown was a 5 minute drive away. The staff were nice and gave us a late checkout upon request. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
