Delray Beach Marriott

The hotel has a lot of potential, but the staff (bartenders, front desk) were unwelcoming and grumpy. The room also had issues like doors that did not work properly and a leak in the ceiling AC unit. The food was B- and the bar and drinks have room for improvement.

I thought the ambience of the hotel was excellent The Darkwoods the lighting the wonderful white comfortable bedding All contributed to an overall atmosphere of elegance

The hotel is directly across from the beach which makes it so easy to to enjoy! The pool is great too! Big area for lots of lounge chairs, also a sit down patio area and a bar. And a sauna. There is pool side food and drink service, which really makes it feel like a vacation! There is a gift shop - albeit expensive. The restaurant was decent and convenient when you didn't want to go anywhere but not much of a selection. There is a bar too with a large TV. The breakfast was good, buffet or order from menu. Buffet was better and had to order omelette station. Not a big lunch selection though. About 15/20 min walk to downtown. There are free trolleys and uber if you don't want to walk. Great combination of right at beach and minutes to downtown, Would absolutely come back! At beach and walk or uber to downtown was a lot better than being downtown and have to walk 20 min to beach.

Everything about this hotel is perfect! The view from our room of the ocean was spectacular! We love the pool area. We had several friends that live in the area come join us for lunch on two days and the wait staff made everyone feel like important guests. We will be coming again and again and again.

We stayed here after a cruise, on our way back from Miami. It is directly across the street from the beach. Nice pool and hot tub. Room (2 queen beds) was nice although the sleeping area was a little on the small side. Pool area was nice, with a bar, but we didn't really use it. Most of the parking spaces are in the basement garage. Friendly staff. Our stay did not include breakfast. It does seem like a busy place; apparently there was a wedding going on while we stayed there. The elevators were extremely slow (though this seemed to have been fixed before we left) and the extra activity did not help.

Great hotel and great staff… cross the street and your on the beach; it's as close as you can get to the beach in Delray as there are no hotels on the east side of A1A.

Really nice place. On the beach and on the ave. amazing food.

Very friendly service, lovely hotel and very close to beach and restaurants.

We had an ocean front room for the July 4th weekend. We couldn't have picked a better viewing location than our balcony!! It was just perfect!!! We felt that the pool area was a bit lacking. The pool seemed too small to accommodate all the people and we saw personnel walking with drinks/food but it wasn't until our last day (Sunday) that we were actually asked at the pool if needed anything. We ended up checking out Sunday evening rather than Monday because the beach was filled with Sargasso weed and we couldn't really swim in the ocean. We were tired of the pool area. I would definitely recommend the hotel for the viewing of the fireworks!!!

great location with fine amenities. Food is fine. Bar sevices are good

Great stay, everyone was very helpful and informative

Delray Beach is a great sunny destination and the Marriott has a great location right next to the beach and near to lots of restaurants and shops.

A great location and room clean, great service reasonable priced dining. They have a pool and are across for the beach so who could ask for more?

Everything you want for a little Florida hotel get away; great beach across the street, nice pool on site along with a gym and spa, and walking distance to fun Delray restaurants and shops.

From the time we arrived till the time we left the staff was very helpful and super nice.

Room was old, small, and worn out. The beds were horribly hard and uncomfortable. I booked an ocean view room with balcony. Basically all you could do was stand on balcony. Had to be careful you did not trip over the high metal threshold.out to what was called a balcony. Very expensive and very disappointed.

Perfectly situated across the street from the beach and on the corner of Atlantic Ave. which is loaded with shops and restaurants. Staff was very accomodating. Food prepared in hotel was excellent from the lobby sports bar to the poolside bar, to the cafe. Well-equipped and clean fitness room with very good equipment. Great coffee in room too.

Apart from an outstanding concierge, the staff quality is very mixed. Cleaning staff sometimes showed up late evening to make the room (rather than the morning period). Bell boys were rude and discourteous. My credit card record was provided at check-in, yet problems with food services on day 2 because hotel did not have a copy of credit card! (which was later identified after re-submission). The hotel beach is not free and we had to pay $60 dollars every day to get dirty chairs and a dilapidated umbrella! This service should be arranged by the hotel for its residents. There was no room around the swimming pool (tiny area and too many visitors), so we could not enjoy Florida weather around the pool, yet this was one of the main reasons for the whole trip itself. Above all, the hotel does not desrve a $400 average per night and it is inappropriately over-rated. I believe that Marriott would pay adequate to these issues only when there is competition locally. But for now, it is the only hotel close to the beach in mid-DelRay and the hotel seems to take visitors for granted. While I am a fan of Marriott hotels and their fine services, and intend to remain a loyal customer, I will never visit this individual hotel.

First I ahve to say the staff was amazing. I was disappointed i did not know there was a $15. parking fee a night whether i valeted or not. the valet gentlemen were amazing. I couldn't afford to tip them as much as they deserved and they sincerly were still super gracious they rembered who my daughter and I were. I defenitely would stay there again I will be prepared to pay the $15. parking however i might try a diff hotel that does not charge a hefty parking fee. Just depends on rates. other than that loved it.

Nice place, good location although across the street from the beach, not on the beach, smallish room for the price, no view. The hotel is a little old, I was surprised at the extent to which I became aware of my neighbors bathroom habits. Great pool area, nice bar and restaurant, staff seems to try. The nickle and diming bothered me a little - $300+/night room and then $14/night to park your own car? Spa services on the upper end of the spectrum as far as price. We enjoyed our stay, but bring your wallet.
