Rooms are sufficient, buy a bit outdated. The matrasses on the bed were very hard and You could feel the springs comming trough. Combined with the noise from the road, other guests and the (wedding)party being held next tot the hotel, we didn't get a good sleep at all... Breakfast wasn't enjoyable.. nothing fresh, all straight out of a package. But there was a variety of choice and the panoramic view from the restaurant over Palermo and the sea was very Nice. Some staff were quit helpfull, others obviously didn't like their job... All in all okay for a day or 2 but certainely not worth a 4 star recommendation. A bit faded glory
So happy I discovered this spot and really flattered with everything excepted for me there. An atmosphere, a staff, a food, overall such a great experience, all were an exceptional. Will definitely repeat! A big thanks to all of you! :)
I was very late arriving but was met by a very pleasant and efficient member of staff who had me in my room in no time at all. The room was very spacious and nicely furnished with everything you needed. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in on Holliday. Breakfast was very good with a great choice and really nice staff. Overall the staff were very helpful and offered lots of information about places to visit and must sees. This hotel is on a direct rout to the hospital so lots of siren but did not disturb my sleep. I stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
A great hotel in a great location, set between the hustle and bustle of Palermo and Must visit Monreale. The staff at this hotel are well trained, pleasant, personable and extremely helpful. The accommodations were excellent with nice size showers with plenty of hot water and towels. Bed was very comfortable. Views of Palermo from the window were breath taking. Although I did not have time to use the outdoor pool, it appeared very clean and inviting. A very good breakfast was provided in the ballroom set up on the 3rd floor once again providing gorgeous views of the valley. Plenty of free parking .What more can I say.......BOOK IT! ENJOY IT!
My husband and I stayed here one night so that we could visit the Cathedral. The hotel is on a very busy, noisy street. Although the pictures of the pool area look spacious, it is actually very small and cramped and the pool was roped off, even though it would have been nice to swim on the warm September day we were there. Our room was clean, but bare and somewhat dated. Our biggest complaints, however, centered on the restaurant - although we were the first guests there for dinner at 8:30PM, we had to wait a long time for service, we were told that there was only a set menu available, and the food, when we received it, was so bland as to be almost inedible. The lighting was almost clinically bright so there was no atmosphere, even though the views were nice. The windows were kept open and the noise of the traffic was also really disruptive. Breakfast was also terrible - mostly canned fruits in this island where fresh fruit is abundant, stale pastries, very weak coffee - I ended up eating a few cookies and drinking a glass of water for breakfast as the rest was so unappetizing. I got the feeling this hotel was set up for business conventions rather than for individual guests. One bright spot, however: the staff at reception were very nice. I would not stay here again.
These people were fantastic. The help with printing, with electrical chargers for our Australian plugs, information and happy smiling faces. The hotel had parking as well and the restaurant stayed open just for us.
I stayed one night and it was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpfulet. Breakfast was very good and the view wasamazing.Definitely a good value to the price I paid. Any request we asked we got it.In the future I will come again and recommend this hotel to my friends.
It is a beautiful hotel in an easy reach of Palermo. The rooms are spacious, clean and everything that should work, works. The internet is very slow, but it works. The most amazing thing about this hotel is the view, so book as high up a room as possible but even if you do not get the top floor the restaurant will make up for it as the view from there is the best. Some of the staff was very helpful others not so much and their English was not too good either "the safe is in the armchair" . All in all a nice place to stay
Hotel is in a great location to use as a base to travel around the island, if you have a car. Lovely pool with amazing views out to Palermo. There is a bus outside hotel that goes into Palermo, be careful if you decide to get a taxi back it is €25-35! All staff were very friendly and helpful. 10 minute walk from hotel to Monreale which has lots of restaurants and places to have a drink. The hotel is next to a road but the noise never bothered us. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and again great views from the restaurant. Would definitely stay again. Total bliss.
We were a little concerned after reading previews regarding the attitude of the staff so we were very pleasantly surprised with the service we received. Benni and Chiara on reception couldn't do enough for us from organising our days sightseeing, printing out maps, giving us tips on where to park etc. Chiara even took us to the police station after we had a car accident after her shift to act as translator. Sonny, the hotel owners cousin, would pick us fresh fruit from their trees for breakfast and was always on hand to keep us entertained. The hotel itself was very clean and breakfast always had a lovely selection of pastries, breads, cakes, juices and a lovely cappuccino. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!
