The things that the hotel claims to have but doesn't follow through with... 1. Wifi- it did not exist. I searched on campus and was never able to find any. Upon speaking to the staff it was a known issue. They even had a permanent sign stating that you would probably have to go to the lobby to use the Internet... which didn't work their either. 2. Not enough towels. We asked for more towels and never got any. We went to the pool and they didn't have any there either. 3. The drain in the shower was plugged. My wife had to stop showering so that it didn't flood the bathroom... 4. The cable tv was so terrible that you couldn't actually watch anything. To be fair... the staff were really nice and warm. The grounds were kept really well and we saw a monkey in the trees just outside of our room!

The staff are attentive and pleasant. The restaurant service, food and drinks are excellent

Hotel grounds are nice but rooms look dated and lack charm. Decent stay for the price.

Everything was clean, people was friendly. Food clean and delicious. Spa. Temascal treatment was the best. The massage and the enviroment was peaceful.

Great hotel and great staff. REALLY nice jungle trail with 10 monkeys overhead. Very nice spa as well.

We were in 2 different hotels in Palenque. Definetely this Was much better. It had a restaurant, 2 pools And wifi. To improve the hotel needs to be renewed, it looks old.

Great location for visiting the Palenque Ruins and being close to town. Beds are a tad firm, but acceptable. Lovely grounds, with newly furbished tennis courts, plus soccer nets, volleyball, hammocks. Howler Monkeys visited both evenings we were there. Little shop available with everything you might have forgotten. We checked out the spa and it looked good, but we did not use it. 1 1/2 hours to Agua Azul.

Although mision palenque is ascetically pleasing and greets its guests with spacious rooms and seemingly friendly staff, there are quite a few issues with the hotel. First of all for a small sized resort none of the hotel employees speak English and they are very difficult to communicate with even if you do not speak Spanish well. They are not patient. The hotel looks nice and is in a wonderful location but I found the service to lack.

-Visiting around -It was enjoyable -This was a very good one
