This is a fine hotel. At the time my family and I went to the hotel it was being refurbished, so the elevator wasn't´t in a good form nor the pool but despite this obvious flaws I had a valuable time with my father in his birthday. As well it is important to say that my room with wheelchair facilities worked nicely and that I took a mud massage, which I suggest, jajaja.
Spent a couple of days at this beautiful hotel. The landscape of the area is beautiful with mountains and a lake that make it a very peaceful setting. The hotel in itself is beautiful and being a convention center has state of the art technology for a business meeting with a colonial feel in the guest area. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Food was great and service impeccable. Would strongly recommend it for a weekend getaway and will definitely go back!
Our visit started badly. One person on reception was rude and then we discovered that the pool was out of action for repairs. However when i complained that we would not have booked if we had known then they twice arranged a taxi and tickets free of charge to a nearby hotel so we could use the pool there. And the service turned out to be excellent after all, with everyone else very helpful. They were very helpful providing cot and high chair for our baby and hot water as required. A baby friendly hotel in Colombia! The breakfasts are excellent and the other meals pretty good too. Great view. Big beds. Decent WiFi. Good facilities.
My family and I wanted a quiet break in between Christmas and New Year and this hotel was perfect. The hotel is sat on the edge of the lake and have stunning views through the glorious green valley. The grounds are vast and have lovely walks through them, and a large children's play park which includes a large trampoline which my children loved. The food was fresh and very tasty. From the well stocked breakfast buffet, pool menu and evening meal, we were never disappointed. Very tasty and freshly prepared! We will definitely return, a fantastic family hotel in an idilic location!
This hotel has been our choice for our last 4 trips to Paipa. Our on the third floor room was comfortable with a great sight of the lake, the only problem was the TV remote not working properly. We enjoyed the hot spring jacuzzi and sauna. Food in the only restaurant is ok, although some items are too expesive for what they offer. There are also some trails in the woods where you can go for a walk, but we where disappointed during our last visit when we found out that many trees had been cut down. I recommend this hotel if you want to have a relaxing weekend.
We visited this hotel for a weekend (october 14-16/2016) and we were really impressed on the quality of the service: smiling personnel, fast responses and solutions everywhere. I Highly recommend this hotel
Ive been coming here since i was a little kid and i never get tired of it! If you want to get away from Bogota, relax, breath fresh air and disconnect this is the place. Views are stunning, food is alright and the spa amenities are great! A couple things is that we asked for an extra bath robe several times and never got it and the drinks guy at the spa was in a rush and spilled one of our drinks. Overall a good stay though, great for friends, families or couples! Esperanza and samuel are always helpful and friendly though!
Wow!!! This is the place you want to be if you go to Paipa for a nice quiet weekend. Although I went for business it is obvious that this place has all you need for a relaxed getaway. Climatized pool, hot springs, fresh air and best of all, quietness!!! The view is great, a peaceful lake. Prices are ok considering what you get. Every time I go to Paipa I choose this hotel.
Totally A1. Got to be the best hotel in Colombia. We loved the thermal pools, the pool, the walks around the site, the onsite games and horse riding. We had a great relaxing time and would go back in a heart beat
Driving into the resort it looks like a prison, tastelessly designed as a hideous thorn in the side of a beautiful landscape. Once inside, the complex is outdated and cold. Tasteless in both interior design and food served at the restaurant, this is not a five star hotel and they should stop the false advertisement. Again, the food was very bad in the only restaurant they have. To make matters worse, there's a mosquito plague because of the nearby 'contaminated' lake. The only way to get fresh air is to open the windows. Open the windows, in fly the mosquitos. The room was also dusty and had a stale odour, and there were stains on the bedding. Bottom line, this is not a five star hotel. Maybe they had their good days back in the 80's, but it seems that they've barely made any effort since.
