Tulip Inn Padova

Fabulous place to stay for visiting Venice

Wonderful stay. Must cheaper to stay at and more convenient and quiet for visiting Venice and the surrounding area than staying next to the Venice canals. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Igea

Central and clean hotel

Stayed before at Hotel Igea in principal due to its very good location. Even if it is not the most beautiful designed hotel in the world (actually it is very basic), the combination position, proximity to city center/railway station/price is one of the best in Padova.

Erïk Langer Pedrocchi Suites

Nice apartment in the middle of the old town

The apartment is clean, more spacious than most Italian hotel rooms,& has a stocked kitchenette complete with refrigerator, microwave, glasses, plates silverware, etc. The apartments are all a little different but basically the same. The furnishings are pretty basic...bed, couch, extra chair or two, desk, & ours had a walk in closet. The bedding & bed were basic but comfortable. The weather was pleasant so we regulated the room temperature most of the time with the windows, but we had remote control air. The shower was more than most European size & was comfortable except for no shelves for toiletries. I found the hairdryer on the 2nd day, hidden in a box that serves as a bench. The top comes off & serves as extra bath storage. The bath was updated & modern. The best part of the apartment is it's location. And even though there is no concierge, it is very secure. We were given two keys...one for the apartment, & one for the main entrance which stays locked at all times. The building has an elevator. When you come out of the entrance, you are in a small courtyard with a restaurant, outdoor cafe, & Pan (a grocery). H&M is directly across the street. And you are a few steps away from one of the main piazzas in the area. Most of all this area is pedestrian only. There is a gelatto shop one block away. The flower market, food market, clothing street markets were all within a five minute walk or less. Parking was about a 12 min walk for 15 euros per night. Good value.
