Great location on the beach/ wake to crashing waves. Fantastic walking paths up and down the coast

I realized I booked a room with an ocean view, but never imagined how close the rooms were to the ocean! You could hear the waves crashing the rocks with the balcony door closed. It was breathtakingly beautiful!

Located right on the beach at Pacifica and convenient to SFO (15 minutes!). Given its proximity to the ocean, it is not surprising that there is a backlog of maintenance work that needs to be done - sea spray is somewhat corrosive.

Everything about the hotel was perfect! I have not gotten such good service in a long time! The hotel was fabulous and the staff were amazing and so accommodating! They helped me relax which I have not been able to do for a while! Hated to leave!

My trip to the Bay Area was actually to attend my father's funeral. Not fun-needed a place to stay that was relatively close to Golden Gate cemetery. Didn't want to stay at an airport motel so looked for one in same vicinity as GG. Found this one in Pacifica. Beautiful view right next to the ocean. Clean and comfy. Great place to eat called Moonrakers. Will be back pronto. Great place to stay!

Comfortable and right next to the ocean. Staff need to be more conscientious of guest, i.e., maintenance worker vacuuming the staris tells us "go around and use the elevated - can't you see I am vacuuming!" While still in our room the housekeeper just walked into our room without knocking first. We weren't even dressed yet!! Someone needs to re-educate these people!!!!!!!!

If you want to get away and relax? This is a perfect place.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly. We saw whales everyday from the window in our room. We were able to go outside and enjoy them, as well, since we were right in the beach.

What a beautiful place. Our room overlooked the ocean with wonderful waves that rocked us to sleep. We left out patio door slightly opened to hear the waves. The restaurant, Moonraker, offers farm to table fares with an incredible view of the ocean. But most importantly, the bed was SO COMFY!

Hotel staff needed reminders to advise us when our room was serviced and ready for occupancy but did allow us in about 1 hour prior to check in time. Room exhibited a distinct animal odor of 'dog,' which was a surprise to us since the hotel was booked on a No pets policy then spotted a dog being walked through the hotel landscaping then spotted two dogs being walked through the first floor hallway and another followed us down the hall. We were stranded on the ground floor of the garage because the elevator would not accept our room card and had to walk back through the lobby to our room to discover that the room key had only been programmed for 1 night instead of the 3 nights we had booked. Did not observe the outdoor pool being serviced in the 3 days we were there as we did on a daily basis in our previous location.

very comfortable rooms view was beautiful. 1st time to California. Was an amazing trip from the airport to the Golden Gate bridge. Landscape was amazingly beautiful. So enjoy this vacation. Best one every.

So much fun and beautiful location! Went with my best friend and we really enjoyed our room and the ocean.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Lighthouse Inn and overall enjoyed the location away from the hustle and bussel of town. We ate at a Taco bell on the beach not far away which we enjoyed. Also Nicks restaurant next door was a lot of fun on Saturday night. It would have been nicer though if Nicks would have stayed open until 2:00am instead of 12:00. The beach was nice, but it was cold for swimming and the waves were very rough. We had a partial view of the ocean from our room and the room was not too hot even though there was no air conditioning.

Hotel staff was very polite pleasant to work with, great food and atmosphere at hotel restaurant. The only thing I wish they had was airport transportation.

The view, staff, location us great. The room was clean and nice. Overall the hotel is dated so your paying for the location and view. It's 25 minutes from the airport and good food in the hotel and nicks (across the street)..

We visit the San Francisco area a few times a year. This Best Western is where we always stay. It is in peaceful Pacifica with great hiking trails and ocean views. It is a short and scenic drive into the city. The parking is free as opposed to most of the hotels in the city. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. We have gotten the ocean view and partial ocean view rooms every time. Either offer a view of the ocean, but the other part of the partial view is the rooftop of lower levels. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a more relaxing experience while still having easy access to the city and surrounding areas.

Hotel is adequate. it's the location that makes it.

Close to city, great walking/hiking town and very family friendly!

While looking for a great place near the ocean in the bay area, we came across this hotel. Nestled in a block of businesses, this hotel had phenomenally clean and spacious rooms and a luxurious pool. It was the perfect get-a-way for our birthday celebrations!

The bed was very comfortable, but the carpet smelled moldy and was wet to the touch in front of the slider door, as if it may have been left open before we checked in. Also, to no fault of the hotel or staff, we checked in and not 10 minutes later the immediate area was bombarded with emergency personnel and search and rescue crews and helicopters looking for a missing surfer. Very loud and very unsettling for about 6 hours. Finally, for some odd reason, they were not serving breakfast on our checkout day, which was partially why we stayed.
