Staff was awesome. Over the top friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable and personal. Perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Great menu of activities to choose from. Never felt touristy.

We had the pleasure of staying in Nanuku for 10 days in early July 2019. In short, we had a fabulous holiday. We had previously been to fantastic locations such as Bora Bora, the Maldives and Maui so we weren't sure how it would compare but it was very comparable. The accommodation was excellent and the staff were brilliant - super friendly and excellent personalised service at every turn - the Fijian people were just beautiful (and no mention of "Fiji time" at any time on the trip). The resort provided an excellent combination of land and sea based activity options which makes for a really fun adventure holiday. In the one week we did a jet ski safari around Beqa, two island trips with snorkelling etc and a sunset cruise on the 'sea' - but also headed to the mountains for a day of white water rafting (a highlight), another day of tubing down the rapids and a day driving quad bikes up the mountains to a waterfall. For us that makes for a much more diverse and interesting adventure than simply lying by a pool at a resort all week.

Second time to come and we will be back.. it’s that good. Best kids club in the world, food is fabulous, beach is heavenly, activities to suit all and everyone there treats you like family. We love Nanuku ♥️

Beautiful resort offering 5 star service. Staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make your stay very special. Recommend the meal plan as the food is fantastic and high quality. The menu and drinks are expensive if not on the meal plan (lunch dinner and soft drinks) so you will be surprised if not expecting the prices. Fishing options (bring light casting rod, soft plastics, poppers) off the dead coral for small trevally and barracuda at low tide. Likewise trolling with a kayak off the beach is another option but use wire trace. Snorkeling off the beach not great as water can be murky and not much coral. Resort must be commended as have a program planting coral to rejuvenate the area. Plenty of day trip options through resort or at Pacific Harbor (see Tripadvisor activities) so shop around. Recommend getting your buddy to take you kayak or stand up paddle board up the creek at high tide. Likewise good walk to hill at end of beach but note is a steep hill and can be slippery. Overall outstanding resort and location, highly recommended and plan to return again

This resort is in a beautiful location and the rooms and facilities were in excellent condition. There were amazing views of the ocean from our villa (which was outstanding in every way) and from the restaurant and pool area and lots of fun activities. But the best thing about this resort was the people - the staff was the most friendly and welcoming group of people I’ve met and they made our stay very special. They remembered us by name and made us feel at home immediately. Their kids club, particularly the positive attitude and number of staff that do activities with the children, was by far the best I’ve seen at any resort. So was the level of personalized attention we received during our entire stay. I would highly recommend this resort, especially to families. The only thing I would do differently next time is to stay longer.

Would highly recommend all to visit Nanuku! The week long visit flew by and the entire family left as the best overall vacation stay we have ever had. Vinaka to the Nanuku Team! The resort is one of a kind with no shortage of exceptional hospitality, customized care and plenty of activities to keep you busy for a week or 2 vacation here. We will come back...

My family of five spent 4 amazing nights at Nanuku and could not have been more happy. The facilities were amazing (we had our own private villa), our meals and drinks were delicious, and the staff was beyond accommodating and kind. 'Bula' greeted us from every single person we passed on the resort. Amazing place that I would highly recommend.

My family stayed at the Auberge Nanuku resort this June. The resort was fantastic. The resort, the rooms and the beach are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The service is 5 stars. We stayed at several resorts on our trip to Fiji and this was by far the best. I would recommend it to everyone and will certainly be back. In particular, I loved the way they blended the local culture into the 5 star resort. The activities were excellent and provided an opportunity to truly learn about Fijian culture. The paddle boarding and kayaking on site was great especially amidst the mangroves on the river. Our family enjoyed the river tubing as an activity as well. Overall, this resort is everything I wanted and more for our Fiji vacation. I have stayed at five star resorts throughout the world and would put this right up there. I won't mention the other places we stayed at in Fiji but they were not close in terms of service and accommodations to the Auberge but were equally, if not more, expensive. Thanks to everyone at Nanuku for a memorable family vacation!

We spent seven days at Nanuku Resort & since our departure we’ve struggled to find words to best describe our experience that haven’t been said before. To sum it up with one word our stay was Phenomenal & even that doesn't truly begin to describe just how great Nanuku is! The personalized welcoming ceremony lets you know right away that you’re someplace special. Upon arrival & until you depart, you’re made to feel like family. You’ll be among the friendliest staff one could ever meet. Each staff member personally goes above & beyond to ensure your needs are met with 100% satisfaction. My wife & I have very busy lives & our primary vacation goal was to just relax & unwind. The staff saw to it that our goals were met. Their attention to detail really stands out from the dining experience, to water sports & everything in-between. We don’t have kids but seeing the interaction the staff had with the children at the resort it’s understandable why Nanuku is a top destination for families. There are plenty of options to keep busy if you so choose. We would especially like to recognize Mena who made it his business to ensure we were not left needing anything. The tour of his village & the welcome we received while visiting is something we'll never forget. We now have a new Fijian family & home when we return. There are many others at the resort who deserve special recognition primarily the restaurant & bar staff. The food was amazing as was the service. We ate like kings our entire stay. The menu variety covers a broad range of dining options. We were met with a resounding ‘Bula’ from everyone we encountered. The friendliness we experienced is something we wish could be packaged & spread across the globe. It’s very easy to see how the Fijian people are considered the friendliest on the planet & that’s something to be proud of. We cant go without speaking about how beautiful our beachfront pool villa was. The entire villa looked as if we were some of the first guests ever to stay there. Everything is well apportioned & included a kitchen along with fridge with minibar. We had the option for in-room dining too if needed. Overall the entire resort is kept in pristine condition. The heartfelt departure serenade from some of the staff on our departure day was a nice touch. It was tough to leave such a wonderful resort, people & country, but it will make our return visit all the more special. Many thanks Nanuku for a 'Phenomenal stay! Chris & Trina

The Nanuku Auberge made our visit to Fiji special. This resort is similar to the Four Seasons in that it is a barefoot luxury resort that is very, very family friendly. We were welcomed with a special drum ceremony. The grounds are gorgeous and our beachfront villa was spacious with modern amenities. As an example of the little touches the resort does, our butler had a welcome message laid out with stones at the bottom of our pool. Each villa comes with bikes for guests to use. The hotel staff were wonderful, attentive and always smiling. I believe it is truly the staff which makes this resort five star. It is evident they really care about the guests. The food is exceptional. The daily curry special was always a big hit. The chef and staff were willing to accommodate requested menu changes. They also very quickly learned our likes and dislikes. I recommend the trip to their private, deserted island which is a real unique experience. The island is 3 acres of lush greenery, great snorkeling, picnic area and bathrooms. We also enjoyed a visit to a local village. It was a beautiful experience. The local ladies sang, danced and performed a Kava ceremony. Another nice touch by the resort is that every villa is assigned a buddy. Our buddy Tukini arranged all activities for us and escorted us on our excursions. The resort also had some form of entertainment nightly. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you to all of the Nanuku staff and family for making our vacation special.
