The customer service regarding the paperwork required is just a mess the people working there just does not help at all and don't solve anything. I'll never be back at this hotel. They double charged me and hasn't refund me yet after 2 weeks and the papers for the tax purposes didn't
I was pleased with the accomodation and service of Krystal Pachuca after I needed to find a place for the night close, walking distance, to the Central Bus Terminal. I walked in off the street and probably should have made reservations online for a nice discount. But the room was worth it. It had a great tv, a huge bed, everything was so clean and crisp. I did have to plug in a bed light after wondering why it did not come on and the same with the coffee maker which had to be relocated to another accessable outlet. The exhaust fan on the air conditioning ducting needed repair quieting (room 515), the head board of the bed needed to be secured better. Not hot enough water in the late afternoon to fill the bathtub but wonderfully hot in the early morning. Housekeeping friendly and welcoming. Desk pleasant and efficient. Super quiet during the night despite being in the middle of town.
I think this is one of the worst hotel we checked in ever. At first glance the hotel seems ok but when you enter the rooms all falls apart. Dark, with not enough lightning despite the room was interior, the shower door had a leak, the faucet did not have enough water, one bedside table was almost ripped of the wall, with no hairdrier. When we complained at the front desk the girl in there seemed to take note but no, the staff do not care at all . When we returned at night all were the same besides the maid did not clean the room, the worst part is that when you make the reservation you have to pay in advance, so we had to stay the two nights reserved. Terrible place, terrible staff, terrible attitude.
A/C was not good so if you turn it on you'll get a warm room, parking lot is small and some spaces are narrow. Room service menu is not enough and some of the options are not available and if you think about it, it is expensive. TV channels options are very few and some of them are not broadcasted well. Bathroom and tub look old despite they count with a fresh aspect. So much pillows on the bed. Walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours at some point. Internet speed is good to watch a movie...,once you get it fully downloaded.
The location is easy to find... The hotel in general is average, these is the second time I stay here, because it is easy find a holyday inn on internet and is 15 min from the University Autonoma de Hidalgo by car. The food ok, the service ok. The parking lot, tight to pass, but with enough places.
We stayed at Holiday Inn for one night. We loved the location of the hotel. It's 3 minute walk to the main terminal bus in Pachuca. check in was simple and easy. We didn't have time to see the pool. Rooms are nice and clean, they provide bottle of water, free WiFi, restaurant was ok.
We stayed one night in this modern hotel while traveling between attractions in Hidalgo and had a nice experience. The lobby is spacious and great for meeting friends. The pool was clean and inviting. Our room was away from the open atrium area so was quiet. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent, serving hot traditional foods, fruit, yogurt, a variety of breads and juices along with "eggs to order" and omelets. It is not within walking distance of the town plaza but taxi service is available.
Thought maybe the Pachuca Holiday Inn would have improved, however, the construction is not conducive for those who want to rest. The hotel is build around the atrium and is noisy. Rooms are very worn and old. The suite we stayed in was very, but very run down. Roomy, but very run down and cheap looking. Great price if you do not want to rest. Service is decent. That would be a saving grace and a good breakfast included with the room. Not much more going on for it.
The worst hotel to stay in Pachuca.... Bad welcoming at check-in, wi-fi/internet not working properly... Cleanliness to be review.... Really not to Holiday Inn standard worldwide..... This hotel is really in needs of a major retrofit to bring it to an acceptable level of Holiday Inn hotel...
This is a very nice and comfortable hotel in Pachuca, although it is nowhere near the city center or the university. The lobby is open and airy and a nice place to meet. The staff is quite friendly. The rooms are enormous, including the bathrooms. The bathrooms contain a razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. for those who may have forgotten their toiletries. The rooms also have two complimentary bottles of water. I did have two complaints: The Internet was the among the slowest I have ever seen, although my colleague who stayed on the other side of the hotel said his was fine. The Internet constantly required me to enter a 10-digit password (supplied by the hotel), and on my last day it said: "Access Denied! You have used up your maximum allotted session time." The other problem was that I couldn't get my room warmer than 21 degrees Celsius, even though I tried cranking the digital thermostat up to 30. The hotel has a bar and a 24-hour restaurant that makes especially good omelets to order. The breakfast buffet contains some unusual items such as carrots and broccoli. The hotel also has a store selling soft drinks, ice cream, and snacks, but it seemed to be closed more often than it was open. There is not an ATM machine, which surprised me.
