I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here. They advertise that they have a pool, but they don't mention that it's filled in with dirt. The room was gross. The carpet was filthy, the mattress was so worn out you sank into it, the toilet was loose so it rocked when you sat on it, the shower walls were partially caved in, the sink drained very slow. Overall, it seems the rooms just aren't maintained at all. Worst of all, my daughter found a bed bug crawling on her pillow. Just avoid this place.

The hotel was a decent price and close to what I was there for so I booked it. The first night I had to go to the store and buy cleaning products so I could use the bathroom. It was horrible. Then in the am I had closed the bathroom door overnight and when I opened it the sewer smell was overwhelming. Thank god for the front desk person. She was the only saving grace of this hotel. I was put in a new room for my next night and it was worse. The showerhead was full of mold. You couldn't open the closet door, there was no end on the sink faucet and the door lock was falling off. The owners don't care but if I was allergic to mold it could of put me in the hospital.

This motel needs to be demolished. Broken fixtures and no outlets to charge our phones. And there were guests above us having a party on the balcony with a charcoal grill, loud music, and alcohol. Do not stay here.

First room no lights. Second room ok but carpet filthy. Outside lots of litter.

Pictures say it all. The pool full of dirt, bathroom had water on floor that never dried. There was a leak from somewhere. The smell of the room was strong and very bad. It was a smoking room and I don't smoke.

Great place to stay. Nice clean room. Friendly staff.

VERY COMFORTABLE EVERYONE WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL

Surprized at thee hotel. Hotel was clean and worked with our early arrival. Roll out bed was a little dated but everything worked out without any problems. Thanks again

No frills, but no complaints. Price was right for me.

Talladega weekend. Room rates significantly higher. Room smelled of smoke and perfume upon entering. The beds had 2 small pillows each, the bedspreads very stained. The blanket had a burn hole and the sheets worn through in some places. The mattresses wreaked of smoke and were so used you rolled toward the intention in the center. NOT a good night sleep to say the least. One of the 2 chairs nearly came apart trying to move it close to the door that didn't want to lock. In the bathroom, the slightest tug to get toilet paper pulled the holder out of the wall. The bar to help while in the bath tub was pulled from the wall and there was peeling wallpaper and slightly bulging tiles. The bar that holds the shower curtain looked like it would fall off the wall as well. The towels were not soft, one was so dingy it was brown in color. It did have a microwave (didn't use) and a mini fridge which was a plus. NONE of the ice machines were operational. Really?!? They said you could get ice from the front desk. The pool was not drained, it was just green and closed. It is Fall so I didn't expect it to be open but walking by it didn't give a good impression. Every employee I came in contact with was friendly. Upon check-out I told the desk clerk about my experience. He said "I'll note that". Really? No, sorry. I cannot recommend the hotel based on my experience in the room I was given. Prices (hopefully) jacked up for a busy weekend, if I wouldn't have pre-paid for the room, I would have left upon entering and went elsewhere.

Not bad overall, we just crushed thru one night and continued driving. The shower hot and cold sign put wrong side I think in my room(132)

Staff friendly. The room smelled like moldy carpet. It was dark and dingy.

The hotel has a great location but gps didn't give good directions Breakfast okay very clean. Stayed 3 days maid service forgot shampoo and soap

The room was comfy. We did have a problem with the toilet in room 138. but the staff was great!!!!

I really enjoyed the stay at the Baymont Inn. The staff was really helpful and respectful, rooms were very clean and the location of the hotel was great.

Stayed in two different rooms. First room needed a complete remodeling. Second room right next door was entirely better.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. They showed pride in their job. Wonderful THICK towels!

We were staying close to JSU for a band trip.

We stayed at this hotel while attending the Talladega race on October 31, 2010. First, the price was jacked up to $260 per night (usually $50). Second, the bathroom light was not working (we then discovered that the bathroom door did not close because the commode was too large - yes, that's right, you had to slam the door to get it back the front of the commode). Third, we found that there were not enough towels and that the shampoo and conditioner supplied by the hotel had been previously used. Fourth, there was no shower curtain! Finally, the floor lamp had some kind of short in it because it kept flickering on and off. The staff were nice enough, but obviously had no hotel experience (they looked like college kids at a part-time job). On race weekend, do not stay at this hotel - there are plenty of others. Overall bad experience.

Very helpful Staff. Right off interstate-very easy to find.
