Ok if just wanting place to sleep for a short while. Pillows almost useless and looked like it hadn't been cleaned.

The heating unit fan had a humming all night. Room was nice , clean.

We were in town for work. Not the most extravagant hotel but good value.

David & myself are an older couple. Entire place was taken over by kids. There was a pool there would not let my kids in it. Taken over by terrible, noisey children w/out any adults. Finally at 11:30PM the police were called and the children disappeared. But after I went back to my room, they (kids) were running & screaming back and forth yelling and screaming. I wondered where any of there parents where. I guess not there.? I know that none of these problems were your fault, but seriously I would not recommend this hotel. By the way a continental breakfast was suppose to be there. Hot very, very strong coffee & burnt toast. Not what I expected. We were celebrating a 50 yr old family member to the town w/bergue festival & cheddars (liked that place very well).

Let's start with what was good -- the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Their friendliness really set the tone. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Wi-fi connection was perfect and consistent. What was not so good? The lobby and breakfast area was really dirty. Crumbs and grime all over the carpet. Stains don't bother me but the dirt that could have been easily vacuumed is harder to excuse. When we walked on the non-carpeted areas, our tennis shoes felt sticky as we walked. The breakfast was limited in that many items that were typically included were "out". The milk for the cereal was in a big pitcher on the counter -- not in any ice bath, not refrigerated. Ramada has beautiful architectural "bones" and has so much potential. I could not figure out how a non-smoking lobby could smell so much like an ashtray.

The front desk staff were friendly. The beds were a little to firm for our comfort. The bathroom was extremely small. The staff serving breakfast did not speak, she kept her head down most of the time. The pool was okay. There were signs with rules on the hot tub, but there was no hot tub.

This Ramada facility must have been impressive when new. It is an older motor lodge type of place with outside room entrances. The rooms were small, but clean, and the lobby was nice and roomy, but the air quality was stale due to the adjoining bar where smoking is permitted. When I go back, I will ask for an interior room. The area around back where my room was, looks a little rough due to the construction workers staying there.

It was a decent hotel, the lobby and main building very nice and remodeled, but we stayed in the second (unconnected) building and it was not as updated. There was no stairs on our side of the building and we had to walk all the way down and back around to get to our room with all our luggage. Otherwise, it was okay-breakfast was not the greatest unless you like donuts and location so-so.

We were looking for a nice place in a safe area close to Holiday World. It was about 30 miles away, but this hotel was very nice for the price. Beautiful lobby, nice clean indoor pool, decent free breakfast. Staff was pleasant, room was more than adequate with a microwave, fridge, and safe. We really couldn't have asked for more for the price.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was a little small, but clean. Breakfast was good, but includes the same choices every day. One thing I did not like was the location of the hotel. It is located directly in between two bars, plus the hotel bar is open to the public. We had an exterior room and heard all sorts of noises from outside that kept us awake the first night of our stay. Overall we had a good trip, but I wish we had gotten an interior room!

My daughter and I were in Owensboro for State Softball Tournament. Room was cleaned each day the breakfast bar was great and eating area was well kept.

Our visit was very pleasant albeit short. All our needs were seen to in a satisfactory manner. Everyone was very kind.

Room rate was half of what I expected for a hotel of this quality.

The stay was very pleasant. We were running a little late for check-out and advised the House Keeping staff we were still in the process of packing and making sure we had everything together. The House Keeping staff posted themselves outside our door and we could hear every rude comment coming out of their mouths including a big loud "ACK-HEM" letting us know they were waiting for us to depart. I feel that was very rude and disrespectful towards their guest that were currently staying with them. Asides from all of that, the front desk staff was extremely nice and so were the associates that ran the breakfast bar-The nice lady asked how our sleep went and made sure everything was to our liking and even held a nice little conversation to make us feel more at home and NOT just another warm body. I recommend this site to everyone i know who needs to stay in the area. It was very conveniently located to the bar i was performing at that weekend.

great value, great comp breakfast, the place gets better each year
