The overall look of the place from the road was fine but the rooms were dirty,or at least the carpet is.housekeeping woke us up several days being loud outside the door and we worked nights so this was difficult.someone comes in the room with the dnd sign on the door. Overall it was not a good stay .....upon check out they charged me more instead of refunding my card so I had to wait on that, not to mention I saw what I believe was some call girl activity at your establishment....
It was ok but the carpet was very old and worn. The furniture was odd big bulky pieces. There was hair in the bathroom floor and the tub was so stained or worn that I would not take a bath in it. It looked nasty. The bed was comfortable so it worked for one night.
Despite the the reviews we have read our experience was a positive one. The room was clean and pleasant. The person at the front desk was very polite and friendly. We enjoyed our stay there.
Showing it's age but beds were clean and comfortable. Bathtub/shower stained blackish-gray. Looks like mold over most of ceiling in shower area. Quiet. Pleasant front desk lady.
We checked into this hotel and went to the room. It was dirty, smoke, covers had big burn holes in them and room smelled so bad. When I went down to let the desk clerk know he started yelling at me and told me to get out and check out. All the other hotels were filled for the weekend, I had to call the 800 number to let them know what was going on. Finally that desk clerk came up to apologize and said we could stay. I told him we need this room cleaned and different bed covers and sheet. And the refrigerator cleaned out . There was no internet, the breakfast was awful if that is what you call breakfast
this hotel was very dirty. we had to go buy Clorox wipes and odor eliminator. They have not cleaned behind night stand , found a cap to a baby bottle beside my side of the bed, shower had clean towels but I don't think it was cleaned or not very well. beds both had a sway in them. overall gross. We were also gouged on the price due to the eclipse. paid over 200.00 for one night.
Went for one night on way to view eclipse. Kind of last minute pulled together trip. So as most know rooms were scarce. This was also still at least an hour from totality. I'll start with the good; friendly staff, no fleas, no bedbugs, no brown recluses, as some other people had mentioned. Of the two beds one had a full set of unstained sheets, one of the nightstands was without food grime, AND there was hot water. The bad? TV was without a signal-front desk said everyone was having the same problem. Phone in room was missing a few parts so it didn't work. Tub needs to be replaced. Carpeting was filthy. Coffee maker was stubborn and for second cup you had to hold the button the whole time. It was really quit laughable. Plus we were overcharged almost four times the normal rate because of how late we booked. Simply felt fortunate to have a bed the night before the eclipse. But really? Please use some of this extorted cash to make some upgrades. If not it no longer deserves any more customers. Simply an affront.
Paid $264.98 for a $59 room since it was the only hotel not sold out for eclipse. Got bed bugs. Called hotel to report issue and was told they do not have an issue. Should have checked TripAdvisor first. Never stay here. I was the only member of my household to travel and I am the only one with bites. Now we are treating our home for bed bugs. Vile.
We knew this would not be the best place, but we decided to go to the totality area of the eclipse at the last minute. The floor had dark ink stains on it. The safety latch was broken on the door, two of the marble tops were cracked and glued together, there was no grab bar in the shower, the room felt dirty.
This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. I do not recommend this hotel at all. The bed felt like I slept on rocks. Unfortunately because of the eclipse I had to pay over $300 for the privilege to stay in a nasty and uncomfortable room.
