I thought being on the ground floor the room was damp.

Nice hotel but close to Public beach access.... Which causes limited space for paying customer s. Updated rooms, no carpets a plus!!!

Worst place ever filthy floor, baseboards. Toilet and tub stopped up. Would never recommend this place to anyone

Location was good. Overall hotel was dated a bit and there were areas that were clearly run down. The breakfast was above average. Parking was convenient. Not terrible but not great.

The staff was very courteous and friendly ... The breakfast was nice ... The room was clean but the refrigerator didn't work, the bathroom door was coming out of the jamb, the a/c was very noisy and the exterior of our floor, walkway doors walls, were in very bad shape ... I would recommend only because of location, price and staff

The room initially looked ok but after an excursion to the beach we needed to get cleaned up. Then the fun started. The shower was a mere trickle for me and got much worse for my wife. The faucet was loose and maybe the diverter wasn't working? We tried everything, resorting to a standing bath. It was awful and took forever to get cleaned up. The bathroom fan wasn't working either and it made the whole room so moist and gross. The bathroom sink didn't have its aerator and when you turned it in the water kind of shot out to the side. The faucet also leaked all over the countertop. I stopped by the front desk to complain and they offered to send a maintenance guy in. But we were done with the shower and had all our stuff out and were off to dinner. Also there was a ton of stuff wrong with the room. It needed more than a quick fix. He would have had a lot of work and we weren't going to hang out for hours watching him fix a bathroom. All they kept saying was Sorry, sorry. I think they say that a lot. The room sucked and they wouldn't knock off any $ or anything. Couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. When we arrived we were happy to see that we had a renovated room with solid surface floors throughout. The hotel has direct beach access and a pool so solid surface floors are the way to go. The only issue we had was there was collection of random hairs near the base of the nightstand where it was clear the swiffer mop did not get run. Not a huge deal but... Aside from that, the breakfast and coffee are AMAZING! Skip the coffee in the room and bring a huge mug to the breakfast area. You need this coffee. The staff was courteous and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The beach was lovely. The only minor complaint we have regarding the pool is that it was a little murky. This was probably due to the number of guests using the pool and not rinsing off all the debris from the ocean. If you tend to use an elevator, do take note that there is only one and it is in the lobby. If your room is on the other side of the hotel, be prepared to walk.

The front staff was great but rooms were not very clean. Hand prints on headboard with something sprayed on it. Disgusting! Was completely cleaned once it was brought to their attention. Noticed later that inside of the bedspreads were stains (reddish brown in color) and brought this to their attention as well. Would not stay at this hotel again.

Nice clean hotel close to the beach. Could do breakfast a little later (until maybe 10 or 10:30) and get the ice machines fixed. Overall a nice clean comfortable place to stay.

they did not finish their remodel in time and were not ready to open. they did not bother to tell anyone. the lobby is full of people trying to check in but they were still not ready at 5PM. they then called to say the electricity wasn't working and sent me to an inferior sister property, Rodeway Inn, but Rodeway charged me for the room at the same rate even though it was inferior and did not include breakfast. they said Quality Inn would refund my payment. i have not received any payments and still upset about having to stay at Rodeway since it was not worth $50/nt. it was disgusting with dirty grimy floors that turned the towels black when i had to clean them myself. the tv remote did not work. the tv did not display correctly and it was not on the ocean side like Quality Inn said it was. the staff just didn't give a hoot.

Hotel was decent. Pool was clean. Entrance to beach/ocean was great. The only thing that really brought my rating way down was bugs in the room. Bugs in the closet, sleeping area and bathroom. I saw this on other ratings and thought that for sure they would have taken care of it. I was wrong.

ok had a musty smell to the room it was clean but smelled funny

The staff was always friendly. I entered my room and it smelled musty. That helped when I lowered the air conditioner temp. My room was always quiet. I only heard people when they passed by my room. Breakfast was delicious... Lots of carbs, so not so great if your looking for protein options. They did have hard boiled eggs, yogurt, peanutbutter and fruit available. Still delicious! And the coffee was tasty! You can't go wrong with location. It was right on the beach and close to shopping, restaurants and all the touristy stuff I wanted to go to. Highly recommend.

The location is right on the beach and the overall experience was pleasant - friendly staff, clean facilities, and expected amenities.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. A few minutes walk from Goombays and the OBX Brewpub makes this hotel an ideal location. The hotel itself has a large breakfast room (6:30-10) with make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, yoghurt, mini muffins and coffee in the lobby is 24 hrs. Fluffy pillows and soft white linens are a joy at bedtime.

I just needed a cheap stay for a few days, so I didn't expect a 4 star experience. The towels were falling apart and very stringy, the exterior of the fridge was sticky and hadn't been cleaned recently. The beds were decent, but after two nights I had a lower back ache. The location was great and the staff was wonderful. However, the appearance of the staff was sub par. Bleach stained clothing, not just little spots, but shirts that were 50% bleached out, and clothing in general disarray. I would visit again, but I hope for better towels and a cleaner room.

Coffe maker was not cleaned and the AC unit barely kept the room cool and it was set to full cold. Breakfast selection was below par. The beech location was great.

My current girlfriends and I decided to get a hotel room for after prom and we had a fabulous time. The staff was friendly and cooperative, willing to assist in any of our escapades for the night. It was truly an enjoyable experience... the room had everything we needed and it made for a memorable night.

The rooms were about average, very clean. The breakfast was great. The desk attendant was very friendly. Great beach access. Would stay here again

ROOM WAS CLEAN, QUIET, FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF, GREAT BREAKFAST-KEPT THINGS STOCKED, GREAT ACCESS TO BEACH. NO COMPLAINTS.
