Absolutely beautiful! Beach was awesome! Had an amazing time!

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff and very helpful! Nice hot breakfast in the morning! ! Short drive to the Wright brothers. Will definitely stay here again.

Beach and staff nice. Hotel older but clean. Had enjoyable stay if the weather would have cooperated.

I have never been so disappointed by a hotel experience, especially considering that it was hardly cheap. We booked the suite for my family of five, but there was no pull-out sofa, but merely a normal sofa. So it cost an additional fee or the rollaway bed. The room was not clean. It was damp and smelled of mold and you could see some on the ceiling. The glasses in the kitchenette were old plastic ones. The sheets were worn and pilled. The outside surfaces of the kitchen cabinets looked filthy. There was dirt in the corners and some surfaces of the bathroom. The air conditioner was so loud it was difficult to sleep. There was no place to hang up wet towells and swimsuits. My whole family felt very uncomfortable and even disgusted, but since the room was prepaid and other hotels were booked, it wasn't possible to move.

I had a great time! I loved the view and access to the beach! It was a great place to stay and close to many of the restaurants and bars we visited!

Awesome! Great location right on the beach! The beds were soooo comfortable! I've never had a bed that comfortable for less than several hundred dollars a night! Thanks will definitely be back!

This hotel has prime location to beach! It is close to lots of good restaurants and site seeing things to do in the outer banks. There and two different buildings: one that you can see the ocean from and the other is across the street. Be careful when booking because when I was checking in in the lobby a man that reserved an ocean front view through a travel website wasn't given one. I'm not sure who this falls back on either the hotel or the travel website but he was very upset. Lucky we received an ocean front room which is what we booked. Very nice!

Staff was fabulous, and courteous. It was a great value and had a FABULOUS location.

At check-in, even though our 2 reservations where made together, with the same cc, over a month ago, we were told they didn't have adjoining rooms available. When asked why, we were told it's because we used a third party, and they didn't have the reservations linked. They said were should have reserved through the hotel directly. We were then assigned rooms in 2 different buildings, on different sides of the street. The 2 clerks were not very pleasent. Room size was OK, but our roon didn't even have a closet, only a rack, which was over a safe, so nothing could be hung. As we were there for a wedding, my wife had to hang her dress over the bathroom door. All in all not a great experience. If we were to travel to the Outer Banks again, there are lots of other hotels to chose from in the same price range.

This is an average hotel in its price category. It could definitely use an update, but the rooms were clean and it is close to the beach.

This hotel is advertised as 'ocean view'. Make sure you understand what that means. I was in a hurry to find something and this looked appealing. The room that I had faced the ocean but there was no balcony. It has been refurbished -- probably several times but was comfortable enough I supposed. My room was two rooms at one time and they were combined to make an efficiency unit. Was a bit overpriced but was ok for a three night stay. I will rent a house next time.

when we booked we didn't realize we had booked a large suite. There are 2 buildings and ours was across the road on the canal and not the beach side. No problem! It was quiet and less crowded over there we loved it

This motel is adequate, just the basics but most importantly it is clean. Very pleasant staff.

Was traveling with my children...had plenty of room, refrig, stove and microwave. Hotel had a nice breakfast and great people.

Great location, right on the beach.. Very Clean, and great rates and close to all resturants, would stay again..

Please Read....... First off if you book your room through ORBITZ you will be assigned a street view room.... Traveling 8 hrs to spend a few days in OBX to overlook the road is less than acceptable. For an additional fee of 126.00 the staff will gladly over ride the computer and re assign you to an ocean view room. Secondly the 3rd floor Ocean View rooms are axactly that the third floor with no elevator pack lightly.. Lastly the house keeping staff very graciously knock on your door between 8- 830 am, When I asked if they could come back latter i was very politely told they are trying to get done and go home so I can just go to the front office and request new towels... Nice way to skip cleaning our room. I went to the front desk to inquire if this is the Hotels policy and was told by the clerk "UM Yes Sir they get started early around here" guess no one told them that all of us that travel to OBX are trying to relax and not get up at 7am to accommodate their housekeeping staff......

room was extremely small, is booked as a suite, had a VERY small sitting room and a VERY small bedroom. Would have been better to be opened up to one larger room with a sitting area. Mattress needed to be replaced. Price was very high for what we got. Would never go back there.

Excellent - Very clean room and well kept, nice continental breakfast. Our room was only a few steps from the beach (Sweet). The picnic area and gazebo only sweetened the view. The staff was very knowledgeable on the area restaurants and sightseeing, which were all within a short drive. Not a bad deal for a romantic getaway.

Clean, tidy and well kept and updated fixtures. Nice breakfast. Right on the beach. Was able to check in early and using pool and change room after checking out was not a problem either. Could be cheaper but this is a popular destination in peak season.

This is a great location and have stayed here twice with my family. The free continental breakfast sweetens the deal and when you get done with the beach the outdoor pool is a nice place to relax. Eateries and shops are located within a mile likewise
