I enjoyed being steps from the ocean. Had a lovely walk on the beach and could hear the soft sounds of waves breaking on the sand.
The property is close to the beach. we saw fireworks from the beach on 4th july one from Nags head and one from kill devil hills. The property has grill on back side if you want to grill. If you come from beach there is one shower which was convenient. Our suite had hardwood floor which was good that kept away beach sand and was easy to clean in case. Swimming pool was good. They had snack from 3-6:30 Pm cookies , tea/coffee, lemon water and popcorn
Beautiful lobby, small but cozy room. Breakfast was nice, beach was beautiful.
When I walked in my room, I was immediately glad I am not claustrophobic. I booked a room for my husband and myself. Which was good, because you couldn’t have even fit a 3rd person in the room. The charged my card several different times for small amounts, upon checkout they said it would be reimbursed but their system does that automatically for some reason. It was just annoying. We didn’t go to the beach to stay in the room but when it rained all night one night we didn’t have a choice, we go to turn on the TV and it’s not working, when we informed front desk the lady said “I don’t know what to tell you”.....
The staff were kind of grumpy. Also, they would not give me a closing bill when I checked out. Said the GM does not allow it unless there are charges. Breakfast was just ok. Building is old.
