Don't stay here unless you have to do so. The beds are in horrid shape. The mattress was super old and worn out. I would have done better sleeping on the floor. The air conditioner in the room barely worked as well. It's a very seedy dump and had around a half dozen questionable looking individuals lurking around all hours of the day and night. The rear door to the hotel didn't lock and the latches and lock on my door were very loose. The most laughable part was the manager told me I had been upgraded from the room originally intended for me. If I had been in town longer I would have re-booked elsewhere. I did not feel safe. The one bonus is Bobby's Table a few blocks away...EXCEPTIONALLY good food! The hotel...just don't.
We were only there for one night for a Leafs game. Room smelled slightly of cigarette, although front desk was completely willing to change it. Was 15 miles from the Canadian Tire Arena which was handy. Tim Horton's across the road!
I needed a place to spend the night on a work trip that would be affordable, this was just right.
Fantastic staff that were willing to help was awesome! We couldn't have asked for a better staff team!
The only things going for this hotel is it's relatively cheap price and easy access to the downtown and Parliament Hill. The hotel is badly in need of repair and renovation. Apart from certain entrances to ground floor, it was not wheelchair accessible (important to us). The continental breakfast was very limited. The coffee was decent. The staff were helpful and quick to respond when we encountered problems. The couple travelling with us had to change rooms because of machinery noise and bad smells.
decent location, decent price, decent hotel. It's what you would expect, nothing more, nothing less.
Clean, great staff and quiet location. It's close to the downtown area, with free parking and free wifi. I got a free room upgrade upon arrival as well. Value for money truly doesn't get any better than this hotel. If you're looking for quiet, clean, inexpensive accommodations, this place is for you!
Regular Comfort Inn. A bed. A TV. All that was needed. Maybe a 15-20min walk from Parliament but a quick drive. Very overpriced, however, were there for the Canada Day weekend so I guess it's understandable.
We just stayed for a night but we had a pleasant stay
