Hotel Indigo Ottawa Downtown City Centre

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Within walking distance to all major sites and restaurants.

Very functional hotel and close to downtown. Parking is a little convoluted and confusing and there is no restaurant in the hotel but lots close by.

wanted an assessable clean hotel with pool..perfect

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Indigo and we found the amenities excellent and the staff friendly and very helpful. At one pt we asked for some extra chairs as we were entertaining a few extra people in our room and they quickly complied. Whenever we had comments or questions they provided svc with a smile and we got the sense that they really cared about delivering a good experience. The room was clean and my wife commented on how comfortable the beds were and how well she slept. All in all, a positive experience. My one negative comment is that they share parking with a neighboring hotel. That was inconvenient plus the facilities for parking were a bit tricky. If you were coming through with a Hummer, you would have left some of your vehicle behind - it is a tight squeeze.

Nicely appointed, great location, attentive staff - great experience overall. Value could have been better if breakfast and/or parking were included.

Kitchen closed without notice early. Shower had mold, bed was not comfortable. Staff was friendly but when kitchen closed, struggled to give me suggestions where to go to get a good meal. Ended up walking int he rain (hotels suggestion) to one of their suggestions and had an awful meal. Some of this could be a one off, but all of it together...not so much.

Very convenient to the downtown area. Clean, very new, everything as expected. Indoor patio is great both for summer and winter in Ottawa but may not be the best option for those who suffer claustrophobia. Efficient service. Considering local prices in Ottawa and vicinity (it is an expensive town, there is no way around it), this hotel was a very reasonable option.
