Would be nice to see the room cleaner with less dust. Also, would be nice to have better breakfast, more healthier.

Everything was great but check in was a nightmare

Right off of I-80. Plenty of places to eat or buy necessities. Starved Rock State Park nearby. Hotel room has anything and everything I could think of. Cleanliness is immaculate. Adherence to COVID-19 guidelines followed. Breakfast limited in choices due to COVID-19 restrictions. I prefer the limited choices due to the staff following COVID-19 guidelines and common sense. It is much preferable than more choices and a chance of contamination. The one thing that would be on the negative side is that there may be small children running up and down the hallway. This would be expected being so close to a dazzling State Park. If you are a parent with small children you should be grateful that you are not uncommon. Although, if you want to crash and sleep early evening you might want to bring earplugs.

I was pleased with the cleanliness, updated and modern decor of the hotel and room. However, the pool was extremely small therefore I was unable to take advantage of during my stay since we must practice social distancing. If we were not in a pandemic, the pool was still a disappointment in size. I was hoping to even get in the hot tub after discovering the pool was packed however they had it taped off. The other downer was on the 3rd day of my stay, the hotel became full since it was Spring break and a Friday which in turn became noisier especially with the guests above our heads. I preferred not to complain since I was checking out Saturday. Overall the stay was nice and conveniently close to the interstate, downtown, attractions and restaurants I had planned to travel to during my stay in Ottawa.

We chose this location for the pool. After checking in the front desk hostess informed me (after asking when the pool closes) that the pool is closed due to covid. This infirmation was not on the website. And we now have a disappointed child. The site also said breakfast included. However it was not conveyed that is was a bag with a granola bar, half ripe orange, muffin and the smallest orange juice I have ever seen. I paid $110 to be let down big time!

This hotel has so much potential. It’s beautifully decorated, well located, & a decent price. But THERE ARE NO CURTAINS ON THE WINDOWS in the room. Our room was lit up at sunrise. We couldn’t sleep because it was so bright. VERY disappointed. I have never been in a hotel room that didn’t have drapes or shades or some kind of covering for the window. Boo!

Great staff, excellent location, good cleanliness of the rooms and breakfast. Enjoyed my stay!

We stayed there on a trip from Boston to Chicago. This nice hotel is at a cul-de-sac of a road, so the pavement of the road is not the best. Other than that, it is great with easy access to the freeway, and the rooms are nice and safe. Very clean bathrooms. There is a casino across the street and the buffet at the casino is surprisingly pretty good! Recommended if you are staying overnight.

This was a very good hotel! the staff was very friendly & very helpful!!! Breakfast was very filling & if i'm ever in the area again ~ I will stay here!!

Smart decor borders contemporary. Slightly more to offer than your typical off the main drag hotel. No major complaints.

Dear Jillian, We are very sorry to hear that your stay did not only meet your expectations but ours as well. Currently and due to Covid compliance our amenities are limited. We do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and your family, but we are focused on our guests safety first. We will be contacting Orbitz, which seems the Third Party you booked through and ask them to update their hotel information. Once more we apologize for falling short on your expectations and ours during your stay.

Dear Eric, Thank you staying with us during your travels to Ottawa. We are very sorry to hear that you weren't able to find the black out and sheer curtains that all our rooms are equipped with. We have had that happened to other guests before, sometimes curtains seem as they are not there, when they get stuck behind the decorative curtains. We are very sorry that occurred to you!
