Great deal! Loved the gym and the locker room! Would recommend to family and friends for sure.

The hotel itself was ok. The room had the basics and no fridge. The cleanliness was ok, not great or bad. The pool was decent, hot tub was small. My biggest complaint: There was a frat gathering as well as a "cage fighting" event going on. There were alot of questionable people wondering around the hotel and was beyond loud!! My sleep was interrupted with loud people, music, and slamming doors due to the paper thin walls. We stayed at a Ramada outside of St. Louis the night before and I got better sleep there! I was disappointed as this is a "country club" and couldn't image why they'd have events like that! Next time I'll stick with the larger hotels and save my money!

i had a great time...lovely hotel...peaceful.....very nice pool and recreation

Hotel is a little dated with brass accents and mirrored walls The elevator smelled like vinegar.(strange sour smell) The indoor pool could have been much warmer. The front desk staff were very pleasant.

Always love staying at the Country Club Hotel. Room had a beautiful view. Enjoyed happy hour specials and dinner at the on-site restaurant. 20 yard pool for lap swimming too!

We enjoyed the luxurious room and loved the wonderful messages. Would highly recommend it!

Overall, a relaxing 2 day stay at this property. The personnel at check-in were friendly and offered a room up-grade. The rooms are quite roomy and clean. The housekeeping staff are very hard working and keep the property and rooms very clean. One of the few downsides to the trip was the last night where a dog was in a nearby room that barked for a half hour non-stop. The hotel staff did take care of that situation. Another downside is the choppy wifi internet service that is available. This hotel is better than most at the Lake!

THE HOTEL HAD A FEELING OF LUXURY. THE FOUNTAINS AND PONDS WITH DUCKS, THE ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS, THE DETAILS IN THE ROOM (JEWELY DRAWER, CLOSET THAT LIGHTS WHEN OPENED, TV IN BATHROOM) AND GREAT SPACIOUSNESS OF THE ROOM WERE FABULOUS. THE EXTREME TALENT OF THE PROFESSIONAL MUSICIAN MADE THE TRIP OUTSTANDING. THE ONLY DOWN SIDE, DIRECTIONS NOT POSTED CLEARLY TO FIND INDOOR POOL,RESTAURANT,ETC. AND AT HOTEL FRONT DESK THOUGH NOT UNFRIENDLY AT ALL THEY SEEMED TO BUSY FOR ONE PERSON TO BE WORKING ALONE, AND THE FEELING OF LUXURY DID NOT CARRY OVER INSTEAD YOU FELT LIKE YOU WERE STANDING AT LINE AT THE BANK WAITING TO HEAR "NEXT". THE FACILITIES AND GROUNDS WERE BEAUTIFUL AND WITH THE ORBITZ SPECIAL IT COST LEST THAN HOLIDAY INN AND ECONO LODGE. I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN.

My husband and I decided on a spontaneous weekend trip to the Ozarks and found this place online. It was beautifully decorated and we loved our room. Tons to do around the area!

The Country Club Hotel and Spa looks so beautiful when pulling up. You feel like you've arrived somewhere magical- until you get to your room. We had a king size bed w/ three mini pillows (they were half the size of the pillow case) and the bathroom ceiling was coming off- one day we didnt even get house keeping- our patio was amazing until we realized there were 2 huge wasp nests- one right above the screen door. The bed- it left us aching and wishing we were in our own bed. Overall the location is amazing- the pool was extremely crowded, and the atmosphere stuffy. We will never stay here again.
