Outdated rooms for the price. Smoking rooms are horrible. Very dirty by back door plus doesn't lock didn't feel safe . Breakfast was very small wasn't very good ! Coffee was watered down. Nobody knew where to eat breakfast at when they serve next door at bowling alley

Visiting cousins in the area, stayed at this hotel as it is the only hotel in the area and was told that the local motel was not as nice. Mostly clean, I mistakenly did not ask for a NON-smoking room so had terrible strong smoke smell in my room. Hotel was booked daily due to workmen staying at this hotel while working in the area. I would have preferred to pay only $60 for this room, I paid $77 with tax. I would stay again being the only choice. Breakfast is yogurt, 4-5 cereals, several breads and mini-muffins, coffee is decent, choices of flavored non-dairy creamers, pkg cocoa, oatmeal, & tea. A/C is very cold, water is hot, Wifi is mostly good (some interruption at I live streamed on Hulu.com, but there was also a major storm), mini-microwave and fridge, blow dryer, TV has a lot of cable channels, there is no business area nor public computer, altho the hotel is on a highway, noise is low Restaurants - Berkner's pizza is good, buffet dinner is $11.50. The golf course has good food and beautiful view of the lake. Note to hotel: cleaning persons need to check freezer area of mini-fridge - there was something spilled in mine that looked like blood. Also, vacuum more at back door entry, the workmen have a lot of dirt on their shoes. I would have liked that the back entry door was actually locked and the key entry used by all.

Not much is available in the Milbank/Ortonville area during the winter, but this hotel was just great! It's clean and comfortable, seems very well maintained. Just stop looking and book this one. You probably aren't going to find anything better.

We stay at this motel several times a year when we visit family. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfortable and the jacuzzi rooms are great! The staff is always friendly and go out of their way to make sure things are right.

As you would expect in smaller communities, the staff is very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable and the only thing from rating it a 5 star is the fact that the towels were a bit threadbare and the sheets were pilling. If passing through the area I would stay again.

We arrived in the early morning hours but were allowed to sleep in beyond check out. The workers were very polite and friendly. The hotel was immaculate and despite being an older establishment in need of modernization and upgrading, it was quite clean. To the owner, increase the wages for your employees... you want to keep the good ones.

Front desk was friendly, and polite and courteous. Room was on the 2nd floor, no elevator. The room was clean, but the walls were paper thin. We could hear the 2 guys in the next room talking, like they were in same room until 11:00 PM. Breakfast was nothing special, but you could fine something you could get by with.

Very clean, big, warm and inviting rooms! Husband and daughter went on hunting trip, I tagged along and so glad I did! Friendly staff and and very helpful manager set up a bed in room for our daughter with a cute quilt on her bed! I thought that was awesome! They just made you feel like home. Very helpful in getting us stuff we forgot to pack. Cereal, coffee, toast for breakfast, what more could you want, it's what we eat at home! Price was awesome and fair, that's what I call making people happy! Already booking for next year, and making plans to just go out there and hang out! Would highly recommend this place! Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Stayed here for a night while attending a function for a friend in town. Pleasant help, very comfy room ( double queen), had a frig & microwave, very quiet area, noticed no noise anywhere. Got a GOOD nights sleep. Already have reservations for a return trip in November. Would like to see a better continental breakfast, had plain doughnuts, no rolls, etc had no fruit. No pool, but they have some hot tub rooms.

We were visiting family in the area but needed our own place to escape to. Kids appreciated the great WiFi and I the clean room and shower! Nothing exciting for breakfast but we had other plans for that. The fridge in the room was clean and cool.
