The rooms are very dated, old. Not just "old-fashion" but with broken bits. The most surprising thing was the staff. Quite judgemental when asked for the closest McDonalds. He no just didn't give me the info but told me: "nooo, do you want ro die of cancer? That's poison!". And kept pushing us to go to a local-french restaurant next by. He might think os funny...well it's not. After 14 hours on a motorbike all we wanted was a quick dinner and a rest....

So REALLY REALLY EASY to find from the main highway from Caen-Ouistraham. This hotel was exactly what it says on the box - a pit stop on the way to Southern France for me and my guest. Open 24 hours a friendly reception welcomed us after 11pm one weekday evening. Rooms are small - no space really required on this occasion - functional shower in bath - was a little too high for my guest (she had to summon help to adjust it) Car park in view of the rooms - meant a quick set-off next morning was assured. Bon jour - see you in a week.

Our room was lovely & quiet (104) . I guess it was adequate but you really couldn't swing a cat! As for us - we were only here for an overnight stop & were happy to pay 80 Euros for a comfortable & clean room. Parking was on site and next door was a delightful but expensive restaurant where we were able to have dinner.Breakfast was pretty good but the coffee machine was out of order which was really shouldn't have happened. Choice of cooked items was sparse - scrambled eggs & some burnt small sausages which weren't too pleasant.Bred & pastries were fresh and scrumptious.

Excellent hotel, with ample parking, close to Junction 19 of N28, providing a restful break of journey to or from the Channel ports. Friendly staff always helpful, with comfortable bar and dinning area.

As a regular Accor user, this place came as a surprise. The reception and grounds are nice, but rooms are 90's style and in serious need of a refurbishment. They're clean, well maintained, just tired and I'll be raising with Accor separately. If you get the room on a heavy discount, then it's ok. Anything over €75, I'd look at the Campanile on the north side which was refurbished in the last 4 years.

We stopped for one night on our way back to the UK. Our "superior" room was small and bathroom was very cramped. It was disappointing as other Mercure and Novotel hotels had always met our requirements. The breakfast was good.

The hotel was fine for a one night stay, the rooms were a little dated and quite small but were clean. I found it quite warm, you will need to sleep with the windows open and the nearby road is quite noisy. We were given a warm welcome. No nearby restaurants but town is a 10 minute drive. We had paid for breakfast which was good value for money. A handy place to stay for one night,

Great comfy night spent here. Fine for a stopover. Not much of a view but it's handy and cheap and very serviceable. The bar was fine for a couple of beers in the evening. Staff speak English. Didn't eat here but did go over to the supermarket over the road for cheap dinner and some supplies for the rest of the journey.

We were stopping here for a quick stopover on our way through to spain. The member of staff behind the reception was very pleasant and very helpful. The room was neat and tidy and the beds comfortable. For a Mercure i would have expected the bathroom to have been a little better. The sink didn't drain properly and the shower could have been better. This hotel allows your pet dog in which is one of the main reasons we booked here. What we didn't know was that the reception closes from about midnight through to 6am. As the Eurotunnel train was very late we only just arrived in time. If we had been 20 minutes later we would have been stuffed.

Arrived late in the evening, we were greeted by very helpful member of staff, who spoke very good English, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Room could of done with some air conditioning.
