Nice quiet room!
There was no indoor pool there was security walking around that was very intimidating Made you feel very unsafe also my fiancé fell on the floor and sprained her wrist almost cracked her head open because we had white tiles and the washing machine was leaking there was a huge puddle on the floor And she did not see it
Love the property, easy to get to and close to plenty of places for food, groceries, etc. on the beach and friendly staff. My *only* complaint is that the couch is very uncomfortable. This is my 3rd stay on the property and every time we show up we go to sit down and relax after a long day of travel and think wow is this uncomfortable, haha. But, in the grand scheme of things, you are on vacation and should not be sitting on the couch watching tv

Hotel room was okay but there was no room service there was no maid service so basically we had to clean up the room ourselves for the three days we were there which is kind of weird, Hotel staff was okay I can't complain too much they let me stick my trailer around back that was nice
The unit we stayed in was similar to what was pictured but not exactly. That was slightly disappointing as we thought we were oceanfront and we had ocean view. The pictured unit had more windows than the one we stayed in. The furnishings were as pictured and the unit was very clean and comfortable. We would stay in this resort again, however, we would want the unit that is used on the website.

The best thing about this resort is the location. We booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ocean front condo. The space was large enough. Cute kitchen with a small stove/oven and a full size fridge. There was 1 small frying pan, 1 large pot and one small saucer. No other cooking dishes were provided. Plenty of dinner plates and bowls. The bedrooms were just ok, the bedding looked several decades old. The living room was fine. The balcony really made this room. Breathtaking views of the beach. However, it was under major construction, which we were unaware of. The sound of jackhammers started at 9am and continued until dark. We couldn't even enjoy the pool without listening to it. My vehicle was completely caked in debris and dust by the end of our trip. The worst, most inconvenient part was their strange policy on beach access. They locked the beach gate at dark (5:45pm in February!) and then padlocked the pool gates. We had to walk around to public access to take our kids down to the beach for ghost crab hunting and to watch a rocket launch. At sunrise we still had to walk around to the public access and when we tried to re-enter the resort at 7:30am the gates were STILL locked! I didn't book an ocean vacation to be locked out from the beach half of the time. We won't be staying here again.
Great condo on the beach. Awesome heated outdoor pool and indoor pool. Super kid friendly (we took our 2 year old). They have a playground for toddlers. Convenient location near CVS, Starbucks and a few restaurants within walking distance. Lots of activities offered by the condo! We will definitely go back.
Room was great, we stayed on the 3rd floor with a great ocean view, but the floor was extremely dusty, that I had to wear shoes or socks all the time. This was my daughter and mommy vacation, just us girls and we couldn't get room service because there was no room service available at this resort. There was a lot of renovation going on, and the parking was extremely limited, we had to park across the busy road and park at CVS. Not to pleased about that. Staff was extremely friendly and always very helpful. We can't wait to go back in a month. That's when all the renovation will be complete.
My stay: December 21 - December 28 My room: South bldg - ocean front 7th floor. One bedroom deluxe I am providing pictures. The room was perfect. More than I could've asked for. Oceanfront (which I paid for). The room is clean - super clean. They provide everything you could need. Kitchen - From flatware, dishes, pots and pans, glasses (wine, shot, water, plastic...everything). Coffee maker, toaster....you name it...this has it. And to stock your condo theres a CVS right across the street. A Walgreens in the strip center next door. And a Publix thats a couple of miles down the road. Bathroom - sink is a little tiny but it is a big bathroom. Water pressure was fine. Hot water was fine. Plenty of towels. They provide soap, shampoo and moisturizer. Addtl supplies under sink. Bedroom - queen size bed, nice size dresser, tv and a small closet. In the closet there is an iron, ironing board, addtl pillows and blankets Living room - nice size with a (somewhat uncomfortable) couch - with pull out. A chair. A door to the outside balcony. And every window in this place has a view of the beach/ocean. I would absolutely, positively stay at this place again if I could have this room. No question. Some of the Con's: Theres two gates leading out to the beach. In the south bldg people leave this gate unlocked - wide open - and everyone on the beach uses the bathrooms, showers and have access to the elevators, etc. Not good. In the other bldg I watched as people would wait for someone to open the gate and yel...hold the gate...and now they have access to the pool, sauna's, outside seating, etc. Also...this is a timeshare type place and this seems to be very important to them. I didnt attend or talk to them about it...and managed to avoid the whole situation. I didnt want to be like that...but hey...im on vacation...im not going to spend an hour on a sales pitch. but thats me...and I didnt hold it against them. When you go to get the parking pass...your in on the pitch. I didnt get a parking pass (because I learned this from another reviewer)...so I avoided it. Overall this was one of the best rooms I have ever had and if I had the opportunity I would stay there again.
It was very good will stay there again.it was well located for all the events that was going on at Biketorfest. Service there was very good the pools and the bar is very good.all-around a good time.
This was my third visit to Royal Floridian. Each time was a great experience. Thank you to all the staff. Very clean n friendly. Will be back
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Floridian! Close enough to Daytona. Easy access to everything. All staff was extra courteous. We arrived early and pre-checked in, the hotel called us as soon as room was ready. Will stay again!
This was our first time at the Royal Floridian and it was a 10! We usually stay at a different hotel in Ormond but decided to give it a try. The rooms were great, staff was friendly and very helpful, the amenities were great as well. We had plenty to keep us busy with the beach, nice size pool, PLENTY of pool chairs, tiki bar, shuffle board, putt putt and basketball court for my son! Loved it- we'll be back!!
The hotel was very activity focused, for children and adults. Activities like shuffleboard, basketball and put-put golf were among the most popular. There were no other amenities, no gym, on-site restaurant or spa of any type ... it would have been nice to have those choices on site, but there are many restaurants in the vicinity. The room was adequate with a small kitchenette, and my view was excellent overlooking the water.
a basic hotel on the beach. great pool, great location, rooms are tired.
The hotel was great, me and my family really enjoyed ourselves.... the service was excellence, the staff was very sharp and friendly. I will definitely refer this hotel to my family and friends.
Over all we loved the Hotel just like the last time with one exception! They were doing a pamotional deal on buy a time share and sence we didnt buy one yet we didnt get our free gift!!!! But other than that it was relaxing, Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. With our properties units so large in size daily housekeeping is unavailable. We do provide a mid week week tidy service for gusts staying a week or more. Towels and linens can also be exchanged at our front desk at any time. I sincerely hope that we have you staying with us again in the future.
