Let’s start at the beginning, I truly love the drive up curb appeal the place offered. It was beautiful! We went from a family vacation of 4 to a family vacation of 7 within no time BUT they were very accommodating to my sudden need for 4 bedrooms rather than a 3 bedroom townhome. Check in was quick! The home was NICE! It was clean and neat. It’s about 15 minutes from a Walmart, plenty of food places nearby. It’s definitely a must for a great family vacay! The kitchen has all the necessities to cook if you would like to spend the day inside. Williams 2018 Family Vacation was a great success!
Family of 5 stayed there end of May for a week. Got a free upgrade to a 4 bedroom unit as they had no 3 bedroom units available. We only encountered small minor issues. The blinds in the upstairs master bedroom were stuck open. Not a big issue as we used the other bedroom instead. The living room tv wouldn't work the last 3 days. We managed without it as we were only there in the evenings, and kept busy doing other things. The unit was clean, pool was good, nice landscaping throughout the property. Would go there again. For all those people who complain about the "hidden fees".... Its not hidden at all. Its clearly marked on your booking. Keep up the good work Fountains and Tuscana.
We just left the house of horrors!! To begin with THEY LIE!!! We booked a one bedroom like the picture shows. They said they don't have ONE BEDROOM UNITS!! They say your getting an upgrade to a 3 or 4 bedroom, HO, but they lock the doors of the other bedrooms. SO what is the upgrade??? which we did not need. The first unit the bedrooms were upstairs which was not going to work because I can't clime stairs. Thats why we booked a one bedroom. So they move us to another one with one bed downstairs, okay that worked. Bring your own pillows or plan on a stiff neck. HO BUT THE DRYER DIDNT WORK, SURPRISE, SURPRISE. We had a maintenance guy come in and tell us they needed a factory guy. NEVER HAPPENED. The carpet was so dirty it crouched when you walked on it. Inadequate kitchen ware. The list goes on. ONE WEEK IN HELL!!!!!WE PLAN ON GOING ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO UNCOVER THIS.
When we arrived they made me sign a piece of paper with additional fees. I told them my hotels.com booking included all fees and they said I wouldn’t be charged they were just for awareness. They then billed my credit card without my permission. Also the carpets were filthy in our accommodation. If you book here you need to add substantial additional costs as they decide to the price.
We are a family of 6 who stayed at the Fountains during April in a 3 bed townhouse. From the outside it looked quite small but this was not the case and we were pleasantly surprised at internal space. All bedrooms were a great size, plenty of storage and comfy beds. Downstairs we had everything that we needed in the kitchen (which was a great size, modern and clean) Check in was smooth, staff were very pleasant and helpful and the amenities were spot on. The pool area is well maintained with ample space and the jacuzzi pool was a welcome relief after hours walking around the theme park. You have lots of local shops and eateries (which we made use of) The only thing that I would mention is that the lock on the sliding door in the lounge didn't seem overly secure but then the property is in a Gate secured resort which gave us peace of mind. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, we also experienced a raccoon in the trash bin area which was quite funny as we had never seen one before and my daughters thought it was great We've had another fantastic holiday in Orlando and without hesitation would stay at the The Fountains again if we were to return. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking at staying in the Championsgate area
I offered management the opportunity to reach out to me following an email and review of their property but nobody responded. My daughter has special needs so I rely on hotels with full kitchens to prepare her meals. The kitchen was ill equipped (no knives, only two small pots). Check in was difficult. I had to return the next day between 8-11, which was hard because we had early morning Disney reservations at the Botique and I had to leave the park to complete check in, then return to the park after. It was time consuming and expensive to make the trip. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a 4 bedroom townhouse, but I was asked to then pay a cleaning fee of $120. I’d rather have had the 2 bedroom I booked.. my daughter and I were the only guests and I was not asked if the upgrade was okay. I would have declined. Additionally, I had to sleep upstairs in a smaller bed to be on the same floor as my daughter- the king size bed was downstairs, and two full size and two twin beds were upstairs. I went back to the office after check in because I wanted the room I had booked and was unaware I would be staying in a 4 bedroom townhouse, but they were closed. The hidden fees are the worst part, I booked online and it said fees may change but jumping $30 in the HOUR between when I booked and when I arrived? Sort of uncalled for, just be transparent and offer integrity pricing where you are honest with customers. Night one, our smoke detectors beeped nonstop. I don’t like to disable smoke detectors but the front desk did not answer my calls. Nobody provided WiFi information. Paths are poorly lit at nighttime and it was very difficult and unsafe getting from the car to the door.
Great for families to share! The amenities were beautiful and well kept. Our family's townhouse rental had a very small backyard but we were doing the theme parks this trip so it didn't matter much. We still prefer to have a private pool and hot tub of our own and that's why we didn't rate it higher. Otherwise it was a beautiful place to stay.
This is the best place in Orlando , And i will stay for 1 month in this villa ! I realy feel like iam at home , so clean , every thing is new , and the pool area is fantastic , safe , and spacious, and very quite area , and there is a super markets and a gas station and restaurants in the area , championsgate is the best place to stay if u like to stay in a comfy and quite area
A family holiday staying in a 4 bed townhouse in the Fountains at Champions Gate. Check in was short and sweet and a little short on customer care skills from the guy that dealt with us at the Tuscana resort next door and another encounter with a lady on reception was poor as i was greeted with not a hello as you would expect but card, she wanted my credit card as she thought i had come to check in when infact i had come to collect a parcel. Home was a spacious modern home with all the amenities with nice out look onto lake but on closer inspection once we had spent a number of days in the house we noticed it had some issues. Sliding patio door did not lock, blind to same door jammed and slat broken, furniture tops marked from wear, walls and paint work in need of repair. For a property that is not that old, it was showing its age in places. Did report issues at reception but blind and door still needed fixing when we left. On a more positive note, pools both at the Fountains and Tuscana are lovely with towels available free at poolside. Grounds are well kept and nice setting. Close to I4 and decent choice of fast food, restaurants and food stores etc just at the end of the road. In summary, nice place but i found myself a little disappointed, was expecting quality of home and attitude of reception staff to be better as i have stayed in Tuscana before and had better experience s.
We stayed here in April 2017 and I forgot to write a review. We had a 3 bedroom villa and it was lovely. Great amenities at the clubhouse, gym and pool. Staff were friendly and the location was perfect for getting to parks. There was shops and restaurants nearby for takeaway and eating out. The bedrooms in the villa were spacious and kept well and the villa had all the mod cons needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again should we visit the area. Recommend going into Celebration and doing the bike ride if you want a break from Mickey!
