This was an apartment/condo attached to others, with its own entrance. Pros: - good location, took about 20 min to get to Disney entrance (in May), Walmart nearby - mostly quiet, heard baby crying faintly next door - quiet & safe location (gated community) - two bedrooms, two bathrooms - nice kitchen and big family room - pool & whrilpool - big kitchen table --overall very clean and nicely decorated. - Well stocked tableware, dishware, knives - Fridge was large and cold Cons: - one long (indoor) flight of stairs to get to the place (they have a gate if you have little ones) - clothes dryer took forever to dry - the towels in the dryer were not dried so they were smelly by the time we found them - need better cookware in kitchen (nonstick coating was coming off) - couldn't figure how to turn on the external TV speaker - Florida water tastes funny (we bought water at Walmart, but it's very busy at night and with not enough staff) - The beds were on the soft side - ice maker didn't work

This grouping of mostly time share condo/apartments is conveniently located near Disney and not far from Universal. Grounds are nicely maintained and there is a Walmart located a short drive/walk away. We stayed in a 2 bedroom two bath unit that was good for our family. The pool is nice but the indoor basketball court was shut down due to mold. All around not great but certainly not bad.

We booked a 15 day 2 bedroom villa from expedia which was $1800 which we were ok with and two days before going I read lots of bad reviews so I checked with Runaway to see if we had a villa and at first they couldn't find out name and then when I have them the reservation number they said they found it. We get their no office a maintenance guy told us to call the number On the paper we had, so I call they told me there was a maintenance problem with the villa I chose and there were no other rooms available and told us we couldn't get out money back, to find another place to stay at. I then called expedia and they called Runaway and for three hours and a half they would call say they got a place to stay and would get back with an address, never calling us back. We would call them, they would say that place is gone they would give us a name of another place we would call them back same thing gone and then they would laugh at the end. These are timeshares that people own and have a timeshare company rent out so unless you rent from the owner don't get this villa. Called my credit card said it probably take 15 days to get my money back but luckily it was back in 2 days. My sister rented a villa but could only get two nights because it was totally booked. We got 2 hotel rooms for the 4 of us for the rest of our vacation but now had to buy lunch and suppers every day which we would have had in the villa. Would never recommend Runaway unless renting from the owner himself and use a credit card so you get the money back

Let me preface this review by saying we did not originally book this resort. We had a reservation through Airbnb for another resort and they cancelled very last minute (on the drive down from NJ). We were panicked and finally found something that met our needs and would accommodate our last minute reservation. The rental office was very nice and helpful. They even gave us a free iron to use for our length of our stay. The unit was a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit. There were 2 sofa beds in the living area. Enough towels for 6 people which we laundered daily. There was an option for a midweek cleaning but we didn’t purchase that as we weren’t in the condo a ton. The drive to WDW wasn’t awful, maybe 15 minutes with minimal traffic going and a bit heavier coming back. We didn’t do Universal so I can’t comment on that. There was a Walmart and a Publix literally 0.3 miles away. (Across the street from each other). There were also tons of restaurants within easy driving distance It had everything we needed with the exception of pool towels. If you are planning on going to the pool make sure you pack some or bring some. The pool area was nice with 2 pools one shallower with a kids splash area and a hot tub. We enjoyed it and it suited our needs. There were a few small things that didn’t make or break the trip. Like the dryer took forever to dry the clothes. (At least 2 cycles of the timer) and one of the glasses in the cupboard was cracked. But overall that was the only downsides I could see. The unit was clean and we never saw any bugs. Overall a very positive stay on what started out as a very negative trip.

What a wonderful place for a wonderful price. The only thing I wish these places have is someone to help out with suitcases upon arrival or departure. Maybe any maintanace personnel could?. It felt like home for our 2 week stay.

I cant believe that after reading so many bad reviews i still ended up booking this place, guess last moment choices. So whatever you have read everything is true about the place. So be ready for 1) no welcome 2) no response from the property 3) start contacting the property 2 days prior which will still not guarantee smooth check in 4) paying extra which will be mentioned in a contract sent after payment of the hotel so cant cancel 5) no supplies provided like detergents etc What really pissed me off 1) i had to wait at the entrance for the codes because im yet to be charged for the cleaning fee (100 odd dollars) as the guy who has to charge is not in the office. So it doesn’t matter if ive paid 1000 dollars. And noone is replying to your email, after many calls , someone finally answers and brake this news you too. 2) the mattresses and the sofa beds were so dying! The bedsheets and pillows are ripped. 3) the club is hardly a club, only gym 8:30-4:30 only. 4) bathroom was so old and stained. 5) no email about check out or asking to stay longer. I sent an email that ive checked out but no reply. We were welcome by a snake at the door and noone to help or call for help.

Have stayed in the same condo everytime i go to the states. Always book directly with the owner and have never had a problem Apartment is always clean and tidy and if there is any problems i always contact owner and it is sorted straight away Have never had to deal with the managment company as owner always sends the updated codes for gate I know that when we were there last year there didnt seem to be any sign of a managment team so we noticed a lot of people arriving for stays and no one there to great and meet so they couldnt even get into the property Thesw condos dont have a bar area but the hotel accross the road does which we have used Walmart is around the corner and if u wish to walk it's about 10 mins Lake Buena putlets is only a few minutes drive Very close to disney and only a few minutes drive to all the other attractions I can only say that we have always had a great experience staying here so much so that we will be on our way back in a few weeks If u are thinking of booking always try to book directly with an owner The owner of the condo we stay in has always been helpful and never had any problems with

SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF FRUSTRATION AND DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Our disappointing experience started before we ever left home. We were auto-debited for the full amount of our stay three days before we left on our trip. The resort sent us information about our stay, including a gate code to enter the property. Upon arrival, we attempted to enter the property, but found the gate code we were given was not valid. We went to the lobby, (to speak with a person), only to find the lobby locked. We called the contact number we were given in our packet and discovered there is not a representative on site. The lady who answered advised us the maintenance department would call us back. The maintenance department NEVER called back in the three days we stayed on property. After we found a way through the gate, (thanks to one of the residents), we located our room. Upon entering our suite, we found damaged walls, damaged furniture, soiled furniture and soiled carpeting. Again, we called the number provided and were told to provide pictures. We emailed the pictures and called the number again. They never addressed the issues, but told us we would not be charged for any of the prior damages, (since we documented them upon our arrival). Later that day we ventured out to the indoor basketball gym. When we arrived at the gym, we found all the doors locked. Again we called the off property representative and were told the gym was being renovated. Funny, there was no one working anywhere near the gym and the court looked fine. We then tried the pool, only to find a code was required to enter the gate. Once again we called our highly ineffective representative, only to be told to use the same code we were given for the front gate. Nope, the pool gate code was also invalid. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed with our stay and feel the website is completely misleading. If your looking for an overpriced, run of the mill motel room, with limited amenities, this is your place. If your looking for nice accommodations or are traveling with your family, be prepared to be disappointed.

This location came up after I googled Pet Friendly vacation rentals. Made and paid for the reservation however, after the reservation was paid for including insurance, I received an email from ACO Vacation Homes with a document with rules and regulations, informing me that this place do not accept pets and if i bring a pet, they would charge $500 to my credit card. This is extortion! Less that 15 hours later, I called the reservation department, spoke to Delia, explained my situation to let them know the I made the reservation on the condition that they were listed as pet friendly. This lady told me no refunds of any money allowed. When I ask why do they show listed as pet friendly, she first told me that they accept pets but only service dogs. I asked her as to why was this not explained and that was when the conversation went south. Also spoke to Travelocity for more than 2 hours and they washed their hands as well. Thieves! I am constantly traveling and know lots of people. I deal with ad agencies and the media. This place for sure will be on all of us black list.

Overall our family enjoyed our stay in Orlando, BECAUSE of this unit's close proximity to local area attractions and the property's amenities. Unfortunately, our unit was so close to the highway that we could hardly get any sleep at night :-( The unit also "NEEDED" to be properly wiped down/disinfected! I contacted customer service with pictures to prove my concerns, and I was told that not enough photos were submitted to get anything fixed/cleaned or be refunded for the "so-called" cleaning fee!!! No apologies, no refund, no let's try to make things better!!! THERE'S NO ONE EVER at the Check-in counter--only a sign telling people to contact the agency were they booked their reservation! The countertops and dining table in our unit were sticky and filmy, and when "I" wiped them off--my paper towels were brown from the caked on dirt! There was NO television in the 2nd bedroom... eventhough there was a DVD player on the dresser for some reason, the lamp in the 2nd bedroom didn't work, and there were broken pieces of plastic on the 2nd bedroom floor upon our arrival...which is very concerning since my children were staying in that bedroom and we arrived late at night. The drapery over the patio door was "literally" hanging over the patio door, and not properly anchored in place. When I tried to cover the windows for some privacy the rigging/curtains fell on my head! A friend of ours recommended booking here, but I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't return to this unit :-(
