This was our 4th time staying at this property for pleasure. All have been 1 night stays prior to moving on to something else. This time was a pre-cruise stay. Our room was in absolutely top shelf condition. Our request for a top floor at the end of the hallway was honored perfectly. The sleeper sofa in the room is the nicest one that we have ever seen. Our sons loved it. The size of the sofa was amazing and so comfortable to just sit upon. Room was spotless. Great cooling system. Great night of sleep. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast had lots of choices and was well maintained. If you are looking for a great place to stay when visiting this area outside Orlando proper you cannot go wrong with this Residence Inn. Fast friendly check-in was another plus. We love our stay.....again.
I always like staying here when in town. By far the cleanest and nicest Residence Inn I've stayed at. Thanks to the kind staff for upgrading my family to the nice two-bedroom suite. Made our stay very enjoyable!
Every thing was just perfect. The staff, the room, and the pool. You won't find a better breakfast anywhere. From check in to check out not a worry in the world. It was very easy to find and had ample parking
Have to start by saying I’m delinquent. We stayed in Jan 2017, I got everyones name and...nothing. We chose this hotel because it was half way between Daytona where were were attending the Rolex 24 and Orlando. When we arrived on Tuesday I was impressed to see the same woman at the front desk (Kathy) and over the next five days saw at least two others that had been there a year before (Erica and Troy). All were very good, especially Kathy The hotel has been recently renovated and we found it to be very nice and comfortable. Housekeeping was very consistent throughout the stay which was nice on return each evening. Only drawback may be breakfast in that the other hotel guests were “exuberant” (Being nice) but the staff kept up best they could. Convenient location to interstate. Check your map app and you can find easy ways to get there coming from north or south. We will be back.
My wife and I stayed one night at the beautiful Marriot Residence Inn in Lake Mary. We were totally impressed at check-in by the up-scale features of the hotel. The landscaping was beautiful, entrance and lobby were impressive and the room looked great. We stayed in room 116. Upon arrival the desk clerk told us that the hotel was full and placed us in a ground floor unit which we requested. We were impressed by the appearance of the unit and especially with the plush bedding. We unpacked and left for the evening and when we came back we watched tv for awhile and then settled in for a good nights sleep. That's when we heard the constant droaning noise from the adjacent engineering room. It cycled on for two minutes or more then off for 4-6 seconds. It cycled all night and resulted in a night of broken sleep. We knew thaqt the hotel was full so we couldn't move and we toughed it out. Disappointing because it was such a nice hotel. In the morning I told the desk clerk about the noise and he said "sorry there is some kind of pump next door". Actually upon exiting the building I could see a series of four vent pipes which appeared to be from a high efficiency boiler system. These were on the other side of our wall and were probably the source of the droaning noise. It doesn't make sense for an upscale hotel such as this to have a room next to a noisy utility room. Maybe this affects other rooms as well!
Outstanding job by Erica at front desk! She checked us in/helped us add another room, made sure we were happy w/ room location and greeted us every time we went past. Amazing how welcome she made us feel. Hotel itself is a fine property. Corner rooms were great. Breakfast was very good/plentiful/varied. We used pool and hot tub which were well kept/clean. They even turned up the water temperature for us. Definitely will be our "go to" hotel in Orlando in the future!
Recently remodeled, the RI Orlando Lake Mary is a breath of fresh air. The free breakfast is good with descent variety. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. If you plan on visiting the Orlando parks, you will need to secure a rental car or some other mean of transportation. If staying in the Lake Mary Heathrow area, the RI is surrounded by some fine dining establishments (Ruth Chris, Shula, etc); you will love it!
All staff were courteous and helpful. Our suite was immaculately clean, more than meeting my wife's high standards. Breakfast was hot and substantial. Marriott should send all their people here to see what excellent looks like.
While we only stayed one night, we were able to leave our car with them for 2 additional days. When we returned, after midnight, our battery was dead. The front desk manager Floyd, and the driver from the adjacent Marriott tried everything they could to get us started to no avail. They kept the lobby open, made us beverages and stayed with us until AAA came and replaced our battery. The staff at check-in Troy, was very helpful in getting us to the property. The room was one of the best we have stayed in recently and was clean and well stocked. We would highly recommend this hotel for all the reasons above and it is very close to the Orlando/Sanford airport. I would like to see them expand the hours of operation of their airport shuttle. GREAT HOTEL!!!!!!
My husband, dog, and I stayed here when we evacuated due to Hurricane Irma. We received superior customer service during our entire stay. The hotel was prepared for the hurricane and seemed to have extra staff on hand. They also had emergency supplies, flashlights and glosticks which they passed out when the power went out due to the hurricane. The power outage was beyond their control but when we went to the lobby they were upbeat, kind, and helpful.
