Picked this Ramada for the price and the convenient location. The hotel has two towers, one that is much older with outside hallways, and a new tower. The package price included a room in the older tower. The hotel room in the older tower was ok and in good condition but definitely not comparable to newer hotel rooms. The tower itself had outside hallways but was in good condition. Did have issues with the elevators because they required room key swipe to go to your floor (very good safety feature) but didn't work without a lot of playing and reswiping. The package included continental breakfast. The selection was average and they seemed to keep it restocked. The lobby area was very nice and well kept. The pool was not too small and in good condition so made for a nice break in the afternoon from the theme parks. The hotel had a parking structure to accommodate more cars and I never had an issue getting a parking spot. Parking was free which is good because hotels closer to Universal Studios charge for parking. Overall a good hotel experience for the price.

Hotel was clean, spacious and relaxing. The only problem I had was that the key card machine in the elevator wasn't working so it was always a hassle. Very nice staff. They need a gym for all people that stay here

The only thing is that I wish they open the pool longer

Elevator keys didnt work even after swapping it one time with the reception. We also witness multiple personnel having trouble with their keys. Heater doesnt work in the room. Bathrooms need renovation. Room insulation is very poor.

Not very clean, anywhere. Was sent to a separate building with outside entrance. Elevator and door key problems

had to wait 45 minutes to finally be able to get into my room. Room wasnt ready when I arrived at 3pm; asked the front desk employee the reason for the delay and how long I would have to wait and all he said was "it is just not ready and there is nothing we can do about it". when I got the key at 3:30 had to wait outside the room till 4:45 because they were still cleaning the room.

Nice hotel, beautiful but receptionists not friendly at all. They dont smile. The other thing that is not good is the breakfeast. One waffle maker for everybody. I had to wait 20 min to make a waffle. No eggs . Not cleaned as supposed to. The croissant runs out fast .

Overall our stay at this hotel was fine. The room was simple and clean, but definitely dated. My only real complaints were that the bathroom smelled pretty strongly of wet mop and the AC was loud & rickety (the cover kept falling off) - other than that the room was satisfactory.

This is more of a nice hotel "wannabe." Staff was not very pleasant, 1st room was not clean (stained old carpet, stuff splattered on headboard, 80's decor). Second room was ok but cost twice as much. It was cleaner and more recently updated but quite subpar for the $200/night expense. Continental breakfast was small and had 1 waffle maker for 600+ guests. There are two sides to the hotel, old and new and the new was not all that great. I will not return and do not recommend.

You told us there was wifi but our kids had to go to hotel lobby for wifi, terrible

The lobby was beautiful and so was my hotel view but as soon as I got to my room their was a horrible smell coming form the room. It was so humid that the windows were wet, it smelled like mold. I had to keep spraying air fresher every hour. The bathroom smelled like it was never cleaned i was even scared to even use it. The worst part about it was the bed. I kept getting bit by something and couldn't even sleep good because of the the horrible itch that I was getting. I stayed there for 2 nights and let me tell you that those were the longest 2 nights of my life. I do not recommend this hotel at all. I bet a super 8 would of been 10 time better then this crappy hotel.

Decent room but not the friendliest staff. Hospitality industry but not very hospitable.

Great value for money. Neat, ample rooms. Cleanliness. Nice tasty Breakfast. Excellent location with shuttle to main attractions.

It was very nice except the only flaw that I could say was they have you tickets for complementary drinks at bar but no bartender. Also maid service at 930 am when check out is at 11 am.

This hotel was nice it was close to the attractions that we wanted to go to. I was very disappointed with the fact that my room was on the sixth floor and you only have access to the rooftop pool from the 9th to 12th floors this was not something that was told to me when booking the room or checking in otherwise I would have upgraded so the second night we were there we went to the rooftop pool just as we got in we got kicked out and told to go to the pool outside on the ground level. This made me feel like we were low class after I spend almost $200 a night on a hotel room

The description of the hotel is not what it seems. Only floors 9-12 can use the accomodiations (Gym, Roof top bar/pool). This was not explained or mentioned on the website. Staff is rude and housekeeping took more than half of the day to clean our room. There are two parts of the hotel the inside part and the outside part which is never explained. The ladies at check in were not too nice. I only met one nice staff member which was the male serving us at the bar.

People are very nice. Great room. Nice view. Location is very good. 10 minuets away from universal studio.

Great value for the price. Check in staff lack motivation and friendliness. Check out staff was great. Location and view were great! Rooms need updating.

The hotel was great. Management staff are very helpful.

we only stayed here one night, but it was a nice place to stay. Staff was very nice and when we needed something they sure were helpful, whether it was for sweet and low for my tea bags, or directions they were on it. Nice place. One thing I did not like was the parking. We had to park in front of a tatoo parler.
