This hotel was okay to sleep in. Which is all we did because we were at the parks ALL day. House keeping came daily to make the beds and restock talls. Breakfast was good. Wifi sucked wasn't a good connection. Maybe had to do with not having a secure password. We rented a two bedroom suite only one of the bedrooms had tv. The tv's did not have clear pictures. But again this was a no staycation vacation. No time to watch tv! Overall this hotel was a perfect location to the 4 Disney parks with free parking!
This hotel has some offerings that are great, like the full breakfast each morning, and complimentary beer/wine during happy hour by the pool, nice pool too, also it's located within walking distance of Old Town and many restaurants. Not so great, if you expect a functional fitness center forget it, it's small, and most of the equipment is not functional, one of the worst I've seen, front desk staff is fine, housekeeping does a good job keeping the place clean, but if you need something "No Habla English". I feel the 3.8 rating out of 5 is right on.
Ok hotel. Breakfast wasnt good & not too many choice to choose from. They serve you waffles and then tell you to go put in the oven. Elevator smelled really bad. Sheets in rm were dirty. Forgot an item in the room called the same day and it was never put in the lost and found.
Stayed for 4 days. Very helpful staff when we checked in. Rooms were very clean, but the bathroom was a little run down. Pool was nice had fun swimming. They do have free breakfast buffet in the morning which was very nice. Well priced hotel that's 15 minutes away from Disney world. It's also very close to Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Had a great experience here and I would recommend anyone to stay here.
Omg I loved this hotel . It had everything I expected and more . Loved the fact that it was closed to restaurants and stores and especially Disney. Rooms clean spacious and efficient. I will be renting here from now on
Had a lot of trouble with services the hotel offered that were falsely represented. Spent 1st day of my vacation having to make different travel plans. Hotel did not seem to care. Room was cleaned part of the time example one day trash not emptied, no wash cloths left dirty sheets when one of my children got sick. The best people there was one manager most was there staff. Management seemed like they did not care at all.
Everything was great except the DJ was playing music with curse words describing female and male genitalia while young children swam???
The rooms are very comfortable. The only thing we didn't like was the complementary breakfast. The French toast were greasy.
the hotel is fine for family, the staff is ok, it is close to main attraction in Orlando (disney World) and there is a nice complimentary breakfast (buffet). the room is clean with a room bathroom, kitchen and a living room , nice to stay with a family
good breakfast, handicap accessable, transportation to parks awesome, great tikki lounge after a very long day
We stayed in 2 different rooms during our stay. The first one was a 1 bedroom 1 bath style and the space and room comfort was was very bad. After a couple of days we were able to change to a 2 bedroom 2 bath configuration. This was much better than the other room but still below par. The bathrooms were rusty and need to be refurbished. If you are looking to save money and have free breakfast etc. then this facility might be an option. But i would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Had to wait an hour and a half to check in (system problem). Room was clean and bed was comfortable although the fold out bed was very uncomfortable. Food was what you would expect for a "free" addition except the orange juice which was pretty bad. Elevator worked, but was pretty beat and had some sort of powdery substance on the floor.
Although its in a very busy areas, the hotel was quiet. Very nice suite... clean comfortable and a great price for the space. Buffet breakfast was a nice combination of hot and cold food. The only negative was the check in desk, 1 guy working very hard having to do several things alone. He did his best but they really need another person to move things along quicker. But over all, a very nice place to stay and I will stay there again!
Wouldn't stay there second time. Looks much better on pictures than in real life.
The location was only 1.3 miles from the Gaylord Palms Resort. They had recommended this hotel for the price when their hotel was full. The room was clean and neat. It had a sitting room, kitchenette, and bedroom with 2 double beds. The tiki bar by the pool was nice and breakfast was included. Good Clean Nights stay for the price.
Got sick of the breakfast, because it was the same thing everyday. Good location because there were a lot of shops and restaurants on the same road. The wi-fi only worked sometimes and mainly just in the middle of the night. Don't order from the pizza place that puts a flyer under each door, because it's not an actual place.
We were in a 2 bedroom suite. It is very big. There were 4 adults on this trip, and the 2 bedroom suite has 2 bathrooms, which to us was important. This hotel also offers breakfast, which saves money and time, and it was good. They offer a wide variety of things including eggs, sausage, danish, toast, waffles, fruit, juice and coffee. The room is small and fills fast, but there is also outside seating by the pool(if its a nice morning). We did not use the pool but it did look clean. It happened to be very cold our first 2 days there. We had our own car on this trip so we didnt take advantage of the bus offered by the hotel. But let me say, We have stayed in this hotel before, we had 8 people in this 2 bedroom suite, there are 4 beds and the couch pulls out, and we were fine. What a money saver. 2 flatscreen tv's, one in the living area and the other in the master bedroom. The room was clean and there is also a fully working kitchen with stove top and fridge and dishwasher. We did take advantage of the bus on that trip and it was wonderful. We were the first stop, it had a few more at other hotels along the way, there were movies played on the ride and it was very comfortable. There are many place to walk to. stores, restaurants, old town which has shops and rides. The checkers restaraunt has inexpensive burgers and ice cream and its all within walking distance. The staff at this hotel was wonderful, very professional, our room was ready at noon even though check in is at 3 or 4. If you are traveling with a group of people and saving money is a priority, nice room, breakfast and transportation to the parks, this is your place. I would stay her again without hesitation. The price was fantastic.
Had a few problems staying at this hotel. The housekeeping was poor for the first three days till I complained to the manager. Second, the free breakfast buffet was not what was advertised on the hotel website. A continental breakfast at best. Third, the matress on the sleeper-sofa was paper thin. Would only return to this hotel if my first choice was unavailable. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give Quality Suites a 5. Also, don't try checking in early. We showed up early, but couldn't get our room till 4:00 in the afternoon.
Overall, was a good deal. We have stayed there a few times before and like this hotel because we can get a 2 bedroom suite, which is very roomy, with a kitchenette. Our room was clean, had to call for linens as they were not always replaced, but the overall cleanliness of the hotel needed some work. Breakfast was fine, hot and cold choices, but crowded sitting area. This hotel can get a little noisy at night as all the room open up to the pool/bar area. Great location to all the parks, Disney just a few minutes away, and many restaurants and shops close at hand. I have recommended this hotel to families that have traveled to the Orlando area and they have been pleased with it as well.
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It's very close to WDW and access to freeways that get you to the main attractions in Orlando. Also close to lots of chain restraunts and grocery store(Publix). The staff was average - and helped out when needed, but weren't exceptionally friendly or eager. The breakfasts were a little disapointing as they only provided about half of what was on their list on the website. We had sausage only 2 of the 10 days we stayed, never any french toast or english muffins (only toast and some cold danish), no yogurt, only oranges and apples every day. There was free internet, but it wasn't very stable, we had to reconnect often. We never used the free shuttle to any of the parks - but we didn't ask about it, it was just more convenient for us to have a car and drive ourselves. The room was fairly clean and it was apparent that they've tried to upgrade some aspects of the room - there is still some things that could use a little love. The rooms face the pool and it tended to get a little loud late at night - it didn't seem anyone regulated pool rules at all, or walked around at night to keep guests outside quite (a couple of nights I was jarred awake by people banging on doors). I'd be a little worried about the noise if I was staying here during a high volume time of year (we stayed in September, so very low volume). I would stay here again if I got an exceptionally good deal, but I don't think I would pay full price in a high volume season.
