I used to sing Marriotts praise. I always chose it over other chains, believing it was better. And it used to be. For several years now, and at many Marriotts, that has changed. It’s no better than the average mid range chain hotel. This particular hotel was fine, but not overly comfortable, tv was very small, bathroom not 100% clean, ... and my biggest complaint, which in all fairness has happened at many places lately, is that housekeeping knocked on the door every 1/2 hour on the morning I’m leaving to see if I’ve left. VERY annoying, especially since a) check out is at 12:00, b) I have “do not disturb” card out, and c) I haven’t checked out yet. Anyway, bottom line, over priced decent hotel.

A bit pricy but we headed there last minute after leaving Woodsprings Suites (horrendous). The bartender was so awesome. Fetched a coke when he found out I'm not a pepsi fan. Lobby was clean, inviting, Friendly staff everywhere. Room was so comfortable and clean.

We stayed here for almost a week - and had a really pleasant time - nice area - and the rooms were clean, comfortable - and quiet. Concierge staff very efficient - altogether a good stay - and we consider coming back next March!

I was on the 10th floor, the room was big and clean but very dated. Bath room needed updates. Breakfast was good but they didn't have enough servers. People were having to get their own drinks. The busboys really didn't want to help the servers it seamed. I will likely stay again because it is close to the airport.

I stayed here for 4 nights for a conference. Mostly great stuff - very comfortable room, incredible breakfast buffet - lots of fresh fruit, hot eggs, bacon/sausage, waffles, etc., plus an omelet/egg station where you could order fresh cooked eggs however you wanted them. Very good service as well, bringing coffee/juice. I was there with a conference and the breakfast buffet was included with my stay - not sure how much it was otherwise. Had a nice outdoor pool/hot tub, which I never saw anyone using. Granted it was a bit cool in Jan! I did pop in the hot tub and it was great. Now, my two issues...we had a shuttle scheduled for our group to/from our conference location with a set time to come get us. The first day, 3 of us waited for over 30 min outside (again, chilly!) and finally got a ride from someone else. Was not able to get in touch with the shuttle driver to confirm where he was or if he was still coming. Did see him pull in just as we were leaving. The 2nd issue was on my last day before I left for the airport. I showered much later than the other days (probably around 10 am) and my shower was COLD! Not quite icy, but close. Never warmed up and I got out as quickly as I could. I did tell the front desk and she said they'd check in to it.

Front desk personnel are always professional and friendly, Concierge staff are as well. Unfortunately, the gm here refuses to work with platinum members concerning the rates. I can stay nearby, at a comparable hotel for 20 to 50 per cent less. I stay here using Marriott free nights as their rates are ludicrous.

This property is a good hotel and close enough to the Sanford/Orlando airport. We were on ly there for a few hours and a rest, though it was a great property and clean. It wasn't a cheap seat, though it was Daytona 500 weekend.

We travel all over the world and what I experienced tonight was appalling. There was a group of people in the bar that were disrespectful to all around them. The bartender, sweet girl, asked them to tone it down and they left in a huff and gave her a bad review. Shame on them and good for her. Isabel continue to be who you are!

Wow! I received great service from the front desk clerk, Kristina, Isabel (I think) in the restaurant, and Laura serving coffee. Laura provided prompt service. Great job! Keep it up! Thank you so much! You guys are amazing!

After staying at the hotel for a month plus I had an amazing experience at the Marriott. The employee who made the biggest impact on my stay was Gerard, an associate downstairs at Cobalts. He always asked me how my day was, remembered my name, and was a friendly face at the end of hard work days. Great experience and phenomenal staff!
