Alex was so helpful and great I am very satisfied with my stay here, I have relocated to Orlando and wasn't sure where to stay.. floridian express was able to help me and I am getting on my feet now knowing I am in a safe place. Alex makes u feel like ur at home and helps in anyway possible which I appreciate very much so... thank u Alex!!

Except for two excellent Staff in front Desk (Alex and Raul) who were very friendly, available to help and courteous, everything else must be weight in... You get a A+ location for a cheap price, but hotel cleanliness is horrible, cockroaches in the bathroom, old beds, old mattresses, bed and bath sheets are old, ripped and smelly. Room is dusty and never cleaned. If you are looking for a cheap hotel but with great location, you might want to give it a try... but weight in pros and cons.

We stayed at the Floridian Express last week and the experience was very good for the price. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was always very nice and attentive with us (especially Alexander). The location is incredible, it’s very close to Universal and the outlets, malls, etc. I would definitely recommend it if you’re trying to save some money and still be comfortable.

Service is horrible, staff unprofessional. Rooms are very run down and smelly. We allowed cleaners in one day and expensive sunglasses went missing. Put so nor disturb on door after that. Minimal breakfast. Black mold on ceilings from water damage. Everything broken and dirty. Non stop adds accumulating under your door way. Thin walls/doors. List goes on. Only good thing is location. Close to universal.

Stayed in the Floridian express hotel for a week . Staff Never came to clean my room I asked multiple times for service and all they tell me was we will take care of it . Last day here i go up to the young lady and tell her that i needed new sheets and pillow cases changed and she says okay. I get back to my room thinking it was clean and all new sheets and nothing was done. I called front desk ask them why they didn’t clean my room and they tell me sorry all housekeeping were gone that they will do it tomorrow morning of course last day when i checked out . Will not recommend staying here with kids or anyone . Smelly dirty rooms! I rather pay more and stay at a nicer hotel than deal with this again!

Reported many problems in the room for three days in a row out of our 10 days here. Then we gave up. The beds will not be changed. The bathrooms will not be clean and you will not get new towels. The light coming in from the windows in the morning it’s horrible because they have horrible curtains. There were bugs and cockroaches in the room that were very big and they wouldn’t even come to help. The phones in the room were not working during our stay they answered but they could not hear us so we had to come down every time because they never came to us. The refrigerator constantly froze everything and both of our rooms even when we have a setting down to the least amount as we had to figure this out ourselves but still did not work. The wood floors were sticky in the poolside room face the building out the pool and the inside of our room face housekeeping doors with plenty of noise from the housekeeping staff at 7 AM every morning. When our rooms were not made we were told we cannot is the housekeeping staff to do them directly so in the lobby they said they will tell them but they never had our rooms done because it was too late at night when we noticed it and came back from exhibition. The staff speak Spanish and English which is good.

La Quinta cancelled my reservation and I ended up at this hotel. Not my choice at all, and more expensive than LQ at the time of booking! Where to being: The signage on the street is bad. The lobby looks run down. Staff friendly, but oh so slow in checking me in. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was the smell. And then the bad lighting. Beds were comfortable, towels were soft, and that's the most positive thing I can say. Sheets were changed every 4 days. Carpets were stained. The room was not cleaned for 7 days (I had a spill of coffee to prove that), there was only 3 hangers in the room, no coffee maker but a fridge and a dirty microwave oven. I dropped a vitamin pill on the bathroom floor the first night that stayed there for a week. So in short: This place is run down, expensive and dirty. I would never return.

We stayed for a week towards the end of October, the room was clean but had a strange smell which lingered for the whole of our stay - the cleaners were in everyday and changed towels as needed I couldn’t fault them. We had a working hairdryer in our room. There was quite a bit of mould in the bathroom which could easily be cleaned and would make the room look so much better, the bath tap wouldn’t work it would only operate the shower which was a bit of a nightmare when I was bathing our daughter. The beds were comfortable and bedding clean. Great little supermarket next door. Location to universal was ideal. The free bus to Disney was not the best and was a battle to get on to come back. Breakfast was outside which I don’t think was good, it was self service but only had waffles toast and cereal - the staff were brilliant though. For the price the hotel is good - Our room apart from the smell was ok - just needs a bit of updating

Very rude personal, dirty carpet, smelly room, broken bathroom light fixture, broken sink, rusty tub, very noisy AC and much more. This has to be the worse place where I have stayed in my over 50 years of traveling.

This has got to be a biohazard zone. Had to move rooms as the first one stunk of cigarettes and marijuana. Floors stained. Ceiling stained. Curtains stained. Lamps do not work. The phone’s cable is broken. When the AC starts, it sounds like an impact industrial concrete drill! The towels are like as soft as Sheetrock! I have stayed at many hotels around the world and the pictures showing on their website are not well representative of reality. This is truly an experience, like in an abandoned mental hospital. Time to tear this down and rebuild it.
