Perfect for our Irma evacuation needs: far enough from the keys to be safe, and close enou to get home quickly after. Pet friendly, kitchen, comfortable, clean, affordable, and friendly, personal customer service from Lauren, Adriana, and others.
My wife booked this place days before Elma was to hit Miami for her sister's family. The check in was easy even with us being the ones that booked it. The resort was in great shape and do to the damaged that Elma did and the state not letting people back to there homes in Miami for a couple days after Elma came though. The resort decided to comp 3 more days for them. It was a huge relief to my sister in law and to us that they had a place to stay until they could get back home to Miami. Thank you Festiva Orlando Resort for making a stressful time for us easier. You Guys ROCK.
My husband and I escaped Hurricane Irma in Miami Beach by traveling north to Festiva Orlando Resort. We initially reserved an executive one-bedroom for us and our Westie Max for 4 nights. We ended up having to renew our reservation for an extra 4 nights due to a continued power outage in Miami Beach. The staff of this resort, set on beautifully landscaped acreage, could not have been kinder or more accommodating. The pool is area is inviting and restful. There are no on-site restaurants, but there is a wide array of dining establishments within a few miles. The resort is about 20 years old and is in need of some sprucing up, which will understand is in the works.
had to leave home because of hurricane Irma stayed a week here very comfortable and the homey feel good location if your visiting the parks or Kissimmee able to cook do laundry in room we had a 1 bedroom for 4 people was was plenty of room very nice staff and vey helpful would stay again even only living a few miles away.
Travelled here on a 4 day/3 night stay from Atlanta. To be honest, I was not very impressed with the place from the appearance of the buildings. Very outdated look. We were here on a timeshare presentation, so we were not very fussy, considering that it was virtually free. To our surprise, it was not a bad stay at all. The rooms are very clean. Great smell, plenty of towels, and two TV's. The bathroom was also very clean. The units have an outside screened patio that is very useful at night. It also has a washer/dryer unit that was great for us because we did not have to take dirty clothes back home. There is not any housekeeping, so we had to wash our own towels and change the linen, which really wasn't a big deal. The place has a very nice pool which really enhances the stay. The furniture in the units are a bit dated, but satisfactory. Safety is not a concern; security on duty at gated entrance after dark. Overall, this was a decent stay. Not in the class of the upper-echelon Orlando Resorts, but decent for the price.
Great location near everything and very short drive to Disney and Sea World. Busch Gardens is about an hour away. However, they are under a renovation project and we got 2 of the old rooms that had worn, stained loose carpet. They were willing to move us but our original rooms were more suitable for our family. We were compensated with a discount of 50%. So, ask for a renovated room when making reservation.
This location is great, not a lot of traffic and other noises. Because we need a 3br unit, we choose this one. We hope they will up their game and make updates to all of the units with the 3brs. The furniture needs replacing!
Our stay was outstanding. We made an error on the date of our reservation. We arrived after the front desk was closed. Security was so accommodating and found us a room. Ensured we were satisfied with the room. The next day the front desk was awesome. The room was very clean and spacious. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and always been more than satisfied. A great value as well! We will be back.
When we checked in, I thought the grounds look ok so should be a decent place to stay. Check in was fast but when we opened the door to our condo I noticed immediately the dining table still had debris from the last guests along with the countertops looking like they had not been cleaned. The vent for the a/c has dust & dirt built up which could be cleaned up with just running the vacuum over it. The bed was clean but definitely not anything great. When we pulled out the sleeper sofa, there was food underneath it which again tells me that the cleaning crew is not doing a very good job. The cabinets and carpets are very dated. The phones have been flashing all week with notifications but neither of them work to retrieve the messages. The pool is larger than most and is well maintained. I do feel like it is located in a pretty safe are but, I would not stay here again due to the uncleanliness.
No High Definition for the Tv's also felt the could have been more towels provided for the week. The bed was a spring mattress so every time you rolled over you would fall or roll over to the middle of the bed.
