The furniture and fixtures are outdated and in need of repair or replacement. The kitchen lacked some basic items. Equipment was noisy and disposal had to be repaired. Sinks didn't hold water. One remote for two TVs. Overall cleanliness was not good.
Great value especially for a extended stay, full kitchen with all necessary items. Walmart less than 2 miles away for getting just about anything you need. Beds are wonderful and pillows amazing! Washer and dryer in unit, and hairdryer in bathroom. Yes the rooms need a little bit of updating but overall it was lovely! Service was wonderful.
This is a beautiful community and the condo's are spacious and clean! I would definitely stay here again. It's about 10 minutes from all of the Disney parks and a cheap Uber ride. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
It never ceases to amaze me why a resort that allows dogs would have carpeting in the rooms. There were so many piss stains on the carpet I had to wear my shoes the entire time. Why dog owners think other people want to live in their dogs piss is beyond me. Just ignorant people.
The pool area was nice and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the interior of the unit I was in, K22, was not very clean and in need of TLC. There was dust/debris in very corner. The shower was pretty gross and the shower door did not close. There were mouse droppings in the cabinet above the microwave. The location was good and it seemed to be a safe area. It wasn't terrible but I'd certainly try somewhere else before I'd stay there again.
We revisited Festiva after being there about six years ago. We had a two bedroom for two weeks and a one bedroom for 1 week in the pet section building A. First off Five stars to the all of the staff including maintenance. I was able to get Ariel Blanca and Fays names but everyone we dealt with helped solve issues and made us feel at home. The rooms we stayed in are very spacious. They have a screened patio, washer dryer and tub with jets. The outside of the building is landscaped and they were putting flowers out front and new mulch. The tile walkway could use some work and there is an issue with the the stairs that will need some immediate attention. They have a good size heated pool, barbecue areas and a pond with walking trail made out of crushed shells i think The inside of the rooms were decently clean. Clean sheets and pillowcases and lots of pillows. It is true that the furniture and sofa chairs and fixtures are old.. The rooms lack details like the kitchen sink missing the top handle cover and some patches on the wall. The outside screen porch is very big but the screens need repair, power washing it and the plastic furniture would be a great improvement.. It is possible that since we were in one of the two pet buildings they might not have the upgrades the other buildings have. We got a very good price point and since we were getting out of the cold and able to bring our pet so these issues did not spoil our vacation. The property is right off Old Lake Wilson Road and after six years WOW what a change. It was strictly crickets chirping six years ago. Its not insanely busy but with several new resorts and the new Wal-mart it has definitely become busier. The property is still in great proximity to all Disney property and if you want to avoid 192 you can take Sherbeth rd to Osceola to get to any place on Disney in about 20 mins. or less. Animal Kingdom is super close so stay in left lane as soon as you get on Osceola. If you are looking for a decent spacious place and can get a good price point this is a good option. If you are looking for super luxury with a lot amenities it probably wont fit your needs. We had a very nice stay and thank you to the staff at Festiva, maybe see you down the road.
We stayed here the first week of Feb. 2018. The resort is just about to start a total renovation in March and it needs it! There are too many things to list but trust me and avoid this resort until all of the units are renovated. I rarely give this level of review.
We had a great time. Relaxing and quiet. Way better than staying in a hotel and affordable. Loved the pool and hot tub. Close to Disney World and located in a nice area. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay.
This resort is well over 20 years past due for a complete reno or demolish and build new. EVERYTHING is old, outdated, worn out and highly in need of major refurbish. Couch and chairs have rips in them, beds soft and sloppy, walls need painting, dirty, even some musty smells from carpets. Leaks in washroom (sink) and kitchen (water piping), TV's old deep box models and small and they are actually still trying to sell this in Time Shares!! Pool area is very nice, big and comfortable but sorry - that's all they have. Might be less expensive but not for me. This resort is very close to the Disney attractions which helps. Rated as a 2 - that's generous!
Disappointed with the lack of activities but staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Resort is close to convenient shopping for groceries, etc. and in close proximity to theme parks (although we did not visit any). Lots of great restaurants close by also.
