I got a deal, I would have been upset if I paid more. I paid less than $60 a night, if you pay more than $75 a night stay somewhere else. The grounds were nice, Jacuzzi and Pool was great. I would stay there again.
This is an older property getting aged, large rooms ,close to everything, Disney restaurants , Walmart , I4, nice pool area, nothing else going on , no activities no game room. so close to Disney I guess they figured nothing needed.
Such a boring HOTEL not even a resort. Do not even waste your money. Lazy staff, uncomfortable beds, not security lol just a guy milking the clock watching his phone. Everything we used was breaking or broke. Worst place ever
furniture and bedding are dated and need upgrade. the resort was quiet and the front desk service was average. overall it was a pleasant experience for the price. the location of the resort was off the beaten path but had many stores and restaurants within a few miles
We booked through Armed Forces Vacation Club. The pros were: friendly staff, clean spacious room, nice grounds, zero entry pool, no housekeeping (unless you want to pay extra.) Cons: only 1 pool and we were put in the farthest building from it, no handicapped accessible room or first floor as requested and when maintenance brought portable/stick on bath rails and a toilet riser neither worked for my elderly mother. They tried and were concerned but this is a problem for folks who need assistance. The elevator in our building made all kinds of noise which was scary but fortunately did not carry to our condo. The mattresses were too soft for my bad back and I slept on pillows. The water pressure for way too low for my liking but I am probably too particular. There is a washer/dryer in every unit and you are responsible to clean the towels and linens provided in the unit. If you do not want to do "housework" during your vacation you can pay extra for housekeeping. Personally we prefer this way to not have anyone come into our room when we are away. The location is 1/2 mile south from busy 192 so while not ideal walking you are a quick drive to nearly any store or restaurant. Disney World is a 5 minute drive.
Looking for an out of the way but near everything resort near WDW? We strongly recommend the Festiva Orlando Resort. The property is well maintained and has a beautiful pool area to soak away your aching muscles from a day at the parks.
Flew to Florida, visited my 82 year old Mom on a 3 day get away. Resort was nice. Got a 2 bedroom executive. Great service. 86$ a night. Went to cirque del soli. Had a good time. Nice place for families to stay if visiting Disney World. Very short ride. Nice pool.
Price was right, first room we were given was infested with fleas and were moved to another room that was better, but hard to overcome first impressions. People were friendly and moved us to another room with no problem. Close to Disney, Universal and Sea World which was nice.
For what it was, it was a nice place but the parking kind of sucks. The elevator was far from our room. I could take the stairs, but my sister needed to take the elevator. Kind of far off from the night life so if you like peace and quiet, it is a good place to stay.
Location is separate from just about everything - need a car or Uber to get anywhere. Resort rooms are a bit tired and need sprucing up, but would be great if you have kids in tow. Easy to find, good service, but lacking any sort of restaurant facility.
