Me and my boyfriend have just returned back to the UK after staying here for 11 nights, we both loved it and would absolutely stay here again if we ever get the chance to come back to Orlando! Positives: 1- Brilliant location, literally along the road from Universal. The hotel does offer a shuttle to Universal but you really don't need it, it took us around 10 minutes to walk there on a really well signposted walkway. Right outside is an I-Ride trolley stop (G4) which comes every 30 minutes which will take you up and down international drive until 10:30pm. If you want to eat elsewhere but the hotel there is plenty around, we loved Millers Ale house (5 minute walk) and IHop (10 minute). 2- Free Shuttles. The Transfer to Disney Epcot left each morning at 9:00pm and 11:20pm, and returned at 6:15pm and 10pm- the shuttle does only go to Epcot but dont worry about that because from Epcot you can get the free Disney transportation to any park/resort/disney springs. As I said above, we didn't use the Universal ones as it wasn't really necessary, but it is great for people who struggle with walking after a long day in the park. The shuttles save a fortune in parking or taxis! 3- Hotel Shops/Restaurants: We ate at Roast Cafe most mornings, the food was tasty and had a lot of choice at great prices. The lady serving was so lovely, its always nice to start the day with a friendly face! We never ate in Tabla, but it did smell lovely. There was a little shop next to reception where you could buy gifts, snacks and essentials which is a nice touch. 4- Pool Area We were so pleasantly surprised with the pool area, the pool is a lot bigger than it looks in photos and there is a nice late closing time of 11! There is also a hot tub which is a godsend after a long day of walking. The sun loungers are really comfy too. Rooms: Super spacious, two huge beds, the rooms can easily fit four people so it was extra roomy for the two of us. The decor is gorgeous and you can tell they have put a lot of work into renovations, it has really paid off. There is a fridge and a coffee machine, and a safe but that needs to be paid for. Negatives: 1- Tabla was a little pricey when travelling on a budget, discounts for people staying in the hotel would be great! 2- We never noticed the pool bar open. 3- We did try the gym once, it would be fine for someone just staying a night or two but dont expect much. More weights would be useful, when one person was on the machine there was nothing for the other to do but cardio. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great stay at this hotel for our honeymoon from Ireland . The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's cleanliness is excellent and it's a nice easy hotel to stay in. The universal parks are only a free shuttle bus (at set times drop and pickup) or short taxi journey away. International drive and all its amazing food is close too and the premium outlets are only across the road. All in all a great hotel!!!

The upgrades to the reception and look of the bedrooms make this hotel stand out. The rooms are clean & comfortable, serviced daily, staff are friendly & helpful. Parking is limited (well it was when we stayed but there was work going on so maybe they've expanded) so on the nights we arrived back late we had to park out on the road. There was a distinct lack of vending machines so stock up your drinks etc. The in room fridge was very useful. The location was perfect. Close to universal, right near the main roads. I'd certainly recommend it for the price!

Shortly after falling asleep, a little after 9, I heard a sawing noise, and as I started to gain consciousness I realized it was in my room! In the darkness I started yelling, then hit the lamp beside the bed and saw an advertisement from a pizza joint going back and forth, about 5 feet up in the door jam! Confusing situation when you aren’t sure what is happening, but you do know the noise is inside your room for sure. Not a good night’s sleep. The manager in the am says this is an ongoing problem. Really? You know their name, phone number, and address, yet you cannot get them to stop jamming ads into guests rooms late at night? Poor management. The desk chair was broken, the room was very small and hard to navigate without stubbing your toe, but more than anything, you expect that only you will be in the room.

At first glance when driving up, there's a lot of construction and you may second guess your choice. However, once inside the main lobby, it's very updated and, for the price, has a sense of sophistication you wouldn't expect. They even have a full bar and a restaurant (which is excellent - btw). That's where it ends. The check-in process was LONG. There were 2 people at the front but only one checking in a small family (which took forever). The other was looking down the entire time and didn't even acknowledge our party. Finally we got checked in and, though patience was wearing thin, the girl did end up being pleasant. The young man at the information booth (for lack of a better term) was also extremely nice (you had to go there to get your parking pass - odd - I guess that's part of their up-sell process for Universal and the like). Now the room.... OMG. First you have to drive around a ton of construction and it's in the back and right on the Interstate. Well ok whatever. The room itself seemed nice - cheap renovation but again, fine given the price point. BUT the toilet we discovered immediately did not function properly. Also, there was no emergency lock on the door, only the swinging arm. Not very secure for 2 single women. Back to the toilet - it clogged (it was obvious, once again, that something was wrong with it the minute we arrived). We called the front desk and they sent 2 men to fix it. OK fixed they said. (They left a mess BTW.) Next thing you know it clogs again. Another gentleman came by and again "fixed it" but then turned around and told us we were using too much toilet paper! WHAT?! I had to hold my tongue. I do not have this issue at home and well, just ONE PERSON used it. So - we called again. I asked that we be moved as there was obviously an issue with the toilet. I was told there was nothing that could be done for us as we used a 3rd party booking agent. WHAT? I've stayed all over the world and traveled extensively for work. SOOOOO.... we let it sit the night. A night in which we saw no less than 7 huge roaches running around. The next morning after an extremely sleepless night, they once again "fixed" the toilet. It immediately clogged and overflowed. We had a venue to get to so were forced to leave it (after we showered in the same room - absolutely disgusting). Upon our return that evening, I went to the front desk and told the young lady there of all the troubles we had had. I asked that someone be immediately sent. She was not only uncaring but completely RUDE. I told her we would be eating in their restaurant (again - it was very good - surprisingly). When we returned to the room they had indeed been in it. They left an enormous mess. There was dirty water, all the toilet paper had been used, and there was smeared feces (yes feces though we didn't even use the toilet that way) ALL OVER THE SEAT AND RIM. FECES!!!! I called. I have never in my life been so DISGUSTED. They were rude. We ended up sleeping there, using the restroom in the gym (which wasn't close) and got the heck out of there the next day without even being able to clean up! A shower would have been nice. Oh - and there were more roaches all over that second night too. Another sleepless night. I called the front desk in the morning and told them that room was not rentable (I didn't want anyone to go through what we had) and again, they were rude and seemed as if they could care less. I shiver now speaking about it. Did I mention there was no secure lock on the door?! Avoid this property at all costs. This is the single worst experience I have had at a rental property in all of my years and all of my travels. STAY AWAY! I feel as if I left at least one of the maintenance trips to fix the toilet out. DISGUSTING.

Super nervous pulling up. From the outside it doesn't look very nice. Once we walked into the lobby, that all changed. Gorgeous lobby and the staff was very nice. When we walked into the room, I was shocked how gorgeous the room actually was. Everything was up to date and very modern. We enjoyed our stay VERY much. The shuttle to the parks and setting that up would be the only downfall of our stay. I will absolutely book this hotel again.

The service from the moment we got there was GREAT . The room was very clean .The coffee shop /great breakfast . Restaurant "Tabla " great . The garden also very nice and also the swimming pool and sun loungers taken care off . We will be back .

Stayed here for 2 weeks in may and had a great time. This is a lovely clean hotel, rooms are cleaned every day and the staff always say good morning there very friendly and always happy. weather was extremely hot and the air con in the rooms was a god send. Onsite restaurant was lovely and the food was exceptional. Cafe on site had two very lovely ladies working there, they were very polite and always happy to help. pool was really nice and lovely to relax around. Although there was a lot of construction work around the hotel this did not spoil our stay. I am sure that when this is all finished the hotel will be even more fabulous. we will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Orlando! 10/10

We stay here for two nights to go to the islands of adventure with our son and his girlfriend we weren't expecting to much as we did not pay a lot for the rooms. We were very surprised at the high standards very clean and comfortable lovely swimming pool fabulous Indian restaurant on site. Free parking and a free shuttle bus to the parks. Will definitely be back

We have just returned from a 14 night stay at the hotel (10th to 24th May) This is a VERY nice property. I will summarize the "Good" & "Not-So-Good" points below: * GOOD* 1. The on-site Coffee Shop called "Roast" where you can get a decent breakfast that doesn't cost a lot. 2. The on-site Gift Shop where you can purchase food/drinks/snacks etc, before heading towards Disney/Universal. NOTE - The parks allow food and drinks to be brought into them. 3. The FREE Platinum bus shuttle that runs twice a day at 9am & 11:20am to Disney Epcot, and then returns at 6:15pm or 10:00pm. This bus can get busy, so ensure you put your name on the list in reception the day before you want to travel. NOTE - From Epcot, Disney offer free bus/monorail to their other parks. 4. The rooms are of a large size, with a small fridge/freezer, and a coffee/tea making machine. There is a hairdryer in the room. 5. The swimming pool and sun loungers were excellent. NOTE - There is construction work nearby, but this did not affect our stay at the hotel or the use of the swimming pool. 6. The on-site Asian restaurant. We ate here on 3 separate occasions and would highly recommend the food, price and the serving staff. Excellent look & feel of the restaurant, very modern. 7. The walking distance to Universal Studios, Islands Of Adventure and Universal City Walk. From the hotel its a good 20 minute walk, which was very easy to navigate with a push-chair/stroller for our 4 year old, even with the construction near the hotel. * NOT SO GOOD * 1. We had a ground floor room, overlooking a courtyard, which between 8pm to 1am got very noisy. 2. Even though the hotel was renovated 1 year ago, the room we had was starting to look a bit shabby (Room 1118) as a few fixtures, fittings and paint work, looked tired. In fairness to the hotel i did complain about the sink and bathtub, and this was resolved within 30 minutes. 3. The room did have a safe, but i had to pay $3 per day to use this. I would have expected this to be included within the cost of the hotel room. In summary myself and my wife/child would definitely stay at this hotel again.
