Baymont Inn and Suites Florida Mall2.5 out of 5.0

I stay at this hotel after Hurricane Irma, because I was tired of being without power and water at home. The hotel is well located. Close to the Airport and the Florida Mall. Several restaurants and fast foods in the area. I wish I could have stay longer, but they didn't had availability and had to move to a crappy Baymont in Kissimmee. The rooms are big and recently remodeled. Kudos to James at the Front Desk. The only criticism I have is the lack of curb appeal and some what dirty parking lot. In some areas the grass is over grown and in others the grass is dead (brown). Beware: There's a railroad very close to the hotel. The property is still under renovations. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.
we booked this hotel via hotwire, the only thing good about this hotel was the location, it was very close to the disney world area, the quality of the hotel was poor, parking lot dirty, room smelled HORRIBLE, the ac stopped working in the middle of the night, the breakfast was crappy. If you get it in a little late at night, there is no parking available with some lighting only spots out back in the dark. would NEVER go back.
The ratings did not match the appearance of the hotel. Staff was decent but the hotel is not satisfactory. Flooded bath sink, dirty sheets, flooded parking lot.
Delighted with Customer Service. Alegra greeted us with her big smile an professionalism. Loved the room cleanness, beauty and comfort. Loved everything, close to many venues! Great location! Will be back when traveling again to Orlando! :)
For the last couple of days, I stayed at the Baymont Inn and Suites Florida Mall, and the service and staff were amazing. They attended to all my needs, and really went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I want to give thanks to Lauren, Brittany, James, Yariliz, Allegra and the rest of the front desk staff for their professionalism, positive attitude, and great work ethic.I will definitely recommend to family and friends to stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites Florida Mall whenever they travel to Orlando. I can't say that there wasn't anything that I didn't like about my experience. Everything was as expected. The room was clean and comfortable. Once again I want to extend my gratitude to the Baymont Inn and Suites Florida Mall for their awesome Customer Service.
The hotel was great. The rooms clean and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. Would stay here the next time we come down.
The hotel is going some renovation so there is an area under construction. Also the breakfat was not much Waffles, cereal, few bananas, apples and minimuffins. The one icemachine was broken. The bedding was comfortable and the room was clean. The price paid was great.
The suite has two comfortable queen sized beds with two bathrooms and two TVs . Lots of room at a very reasonable rate. The pool is also nice and the location is convenient. The breakfast was much better when we came two years ago, as it is now very limited and they run out of items frequently,
I enjoyed my stay. The beds were soft and the bathroom was clean and that's what's most important to me. They also had 3 different HBO channels which was nice because most hotels don't provide premium channels. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the smell of the room and hallway. The grass and plants around the building isn't kept well but they are remodeling inside so maybe they'll get to the outside soon after.
This was a last minute getaway on a budget. Starting with location, the area was a little sketchy, but not too bad. Apparently, OBT is considered the "hood" in Orlando, that is what we were told by a gas station clerk on International Drive on our way to Volcano Bay. We did not really mind for the rate we were paying. When we checked in we were immediately greeted by Allegra. She was very lovely!! The room was very clean and cozy. You can tell the Housekeeping Staff really works hard here. The hotel was under reconstruction, however it did not affect our stay. The bed was comfortable. They do offer free continental breakfast, but we did not have it due to my dietary restrictions. The hotel is about only a 15 minute drive to Universal, so very convenient! Overall, I have no complaints about my stay here.
