We checked in and got to our room only to discover lights didn't work. Called the front desk and waited for someone to come fix them. We then left to explore area. Got back later that night only to discover more lights that didn't work, a broken ceiling fan and the fireplace not working. A sign on the wall said not to use AC because this was the "oregon coast" and to.open doors. Patio door had no screen and we were for sure not leaving our front door open while we slept. Spoke to front desk. Was told there was no manager on duty and they didn't know when he would be in. Was given sn email to contact him- email undeliverable twice. Was told none of their patio doors have screens and gas for the entire property is shut off so none of the fireplaces work. The room was clean, but definitely in need of work. Staff not very friendly and the amenities are none. Will never return to this property again. $287 a night for a terrible experience. If you have other options for lodging i would take them.

When I first arrived to check in after a long drive, there was a sign on the door that advised “check in at 4pm.” Which was an hour and a half later. I came back at 4pm. I elderly man was in the office but he could not help me and he could not speak English very well. By 4:30pm a young man came to check me in. He complained about the Orbitz site and the prices they quote. The same day my room key stopped working, found the old man and he told me that I could it could get it fixed in an hour. I had to make myself clear that I was not waiting an hour. The young man then came and schooled me on why my card did not work. Made me feel guilty. I wanted to stay a second night, but on the third floor from the second, simply for the view. Repeat the aforementioned, I was told to meet the young man at a certain time, he was not in the office at that time. Had to wait an hour. The elderly man is family and the housemaid or houseman. There are envelopes in each room in hopes of tips for him. He sits in office area as a front for the family that lives in hotel on the other side of the property. You can tell that the Indian family don’t treat him honorably. They don’t stick to their times and having a guest seems more like a nuisance to them. The breakfast was weak, the coffee was watered down for...an elderly gentleman. I would not recommend this hotel. Steer clear away.

Frankly the staff saved this motel. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, obviously wanting everyone to be pleased. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable. There were no screens on my ocean facing sliding door. The sun warmed up the room to uncomfortable temperatures and the only relief was opening the door. Which meant we shared the room with flies and noise. And the noise was truly awful. The highway is right outside and even with earplugs I could hear the trucks rumbling by. The ocean view was really a view of trees, with some spots where you could see the water. We needed a dog friendly spot close to the dock, and that is why we chose this spot, but if you must be in this location, bring earplugs and maybe even a fan to cool the room faster.

When we first checked in the lady was very grumpy and short with us. When we got to our rooms, the idea of sitting on the balcony and enjoying an ocean view went out the window. As the view of the ocean was through tree branches. The sliding door in our room and in our friends room next door could not be opened anymore than 12" to go on to the patio, there goes our chance of sitting and watching the whales from our hotel room. Chairs were filthy, and broken, I will say the sheets, towels, refrigerator were very clean, kudos there. But I would never stay here again, even though I come to the Oregon coast a lot.

The facility is clean but dated. The beds were super hard. The breakfast was kinda like being at home. Egg patties and frozen waffles in the freezer with notes and instructions on the freezer for guests. Hard boiled eggs and milk in the fridge. Some random mini muffins and bagels from Walmart. The beds were the worst part though. No one wants to sleep poorly. These were the worst I’ve experienced.

This was my first time in Depoe Bay. I will never stay at the Travelodge again. There was in the bathroom sink, the mirror was dirty and toilet had not be cleaned. The linens did not smell fresh. I am sure they were not washed.

Our 2nd floor room had a nice ocean view and a great price.

Very clean, recently remodeled large room with a fireplace, refrigerator, and microwave with a great view of the ocean

We had a great time Katie was awesome the facility was nice well taken care of I'd work on that some other thing that we didn't get to use the spa but other than that we had a great time thanks to Katie

Last minute find traveling North up 101--perfect location with a great view.. Sat on patio and watched whales ! Bring binoculars ! Free breakfast Lovely touches of flower pots around hotel bring homey touch and pride in presenting a nice hotel. Front desk suggested Tidal Raves. Nice restaurant across the street with a great view- vegetarian options, seafood, steak etc. perfect for nice celebration dinner! Delicious and great service with a smile!
